  • Victor on Daniel 12
I feel most likely...incorrectly... that the "abomination of desolation..."...to which verse refers will have to do with homosexuals making unclean sacrifices in the re-built temple... to the antichrist during the "Tribulation period"... Maybe?!?
  • Sandra Fraser on Mark 16
Mark 16 v 16:Do you believe in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ? If you believe why not get baptized in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ? If you do you shall be saved,if you don't you are dammed.
  • This is in response to Lorraine's question. Without doing a complete Bible and Strong's Exhaustive Concordance search, this is what was found that came up first using the methods that I mention below. Rom 1:25 KJV Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Psalms 52:3 KJV Thou lovest evil more than good and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. Lorraine, you could just Google "They rather hear a lie than hearing the truth?" Or use the search engine of the Bible Website i.e. where it says, SEARCH THE BIBLE, type in "They rather hear a lie than hearing the truth?" and then click the Search button. You could also shorten it down to "Lie than truth" and do the same things mentioned above Also, you could darken in "They rather hear a lie than hearing the truth?" or "lie than truth" and right click it and a little box of choices will come up and click on the one that has a search engine with it and then choose the website that has a Bible Title especially if it is the KJV

  • Mary on 2 Kings 2
To those negative about God where do you find more than 42 children hanging around picking on people passing thru but in a gang. Note there were more than 42 children, and note that two bears harmed 42 of them, why didn't more of them run? Most likely it was a gang of children who thought they could stand up to the bears and ended up harmed. God is great and you can believe there is more to the story of the prophet that was being verbally abused by a gang of young people only God knows what would have happened to him if the bears didn't come to distract them.

PAUL WHO WAS AGAINST THE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST HELP PERSECUTE THE BELIEVERS IN CHRIST, HAD A HEART TRANSPLANT WHEN HE MET JESUS FOR HIMSELF! PAUL HATED WHAT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND LIKE SO MANY DO TODAY! EVEN PEOPLE THAT GOES TO CHURCH REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LOVE OF GOD! TO SAY WE HAVE GOD IN OUR HEART, WE MUST ALSO HAVE LOVE FOR OTHERS NOT HATRED! PAUL WAS HATEFUL BEFORE HE MET CHRIST, BUT AFTER CHRIST PIERCED HIS HEART LOVE TOOK OVER HIS LIFE! PAUL WAS AMAZED HOW JESUS LOVED HIM EVEN WHEN HE WAS AT HIS WORSE WHICH HUMBLED PAUL TO ASK GOD WHAT WAS HIS WILL FOR HIS LIFE! PAUL STOP LIVING FOR HIMSELF AND STARTED LIVING FOR CHRIST! PAUL REALIZED THAT EVERYTHING HE THOUGHT HE GAINED IN LIFE WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE LOVE OF CHRIST WHICH GAVE HIM INNER LOVE, PEACE, AND JOY! THAT'S WHY PAUL SAID TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN CAUSE WE CAN NOT LOSE GIVING OUR LIFE TO CHRIST! NOT JUST ON SUNDAY BUT GIVE GOD OUR EVERYDAY LIFE! GOD IS NOT LOOKING FOR SUNDAY'S BEST, BUT HE IS LOOKING FOR SEVEN DAYS A WEEK BELIEVERS! TRUE BELIEVERS LOVES GOD WITH THEIR WHOLE HEART, MIND, BODY, AND SOUL! LIKE PAUL SAID IN ROMANS 8:39, WE CANT LET NOTHING SEPARATE US FROM TRUE LOVE I MEAN NOTHING!!! GOD'S LOVE WILL NEVER CHANGE BUT THE THINGS IN LIFE WILL! DO U WANT REAL OR FAKE??? AMEN! GLORY BE TO GOD!!!

  • Gary Mattis on Genesis 3
Vs. 3:22 says Man has become like one of US to know good and evil . again just like in chapter 1 God is showing himself as a Unity using the US in a plural form ! Father and Messiah both are there during the Creation. Pray like this Jesus said Father Son and Holy Spirit , body , soul mind We have in one being and we are made in Gods image and likeness ! . Trinity or Unity God ? Seems like a Unity of flesh and spirit or at this point in time spirit and spirit of the one and same God is more like it to me with God saying US twice already here at the beginning of Genesis ! In Chapter 1 Gods Spirit was upon the face of the deep , to me Gods Spirit is God himself being present where ever it is at - even if it was being manifested everywhere it is still one and the same God or a Unity in His Very essence! .

  • Seth Nash on Psalms 91
Psalm 91 is so powerful. He that dwell in the secret place of most high. The question is how do we dwell in His secret place? We dwell in His place by prayer, praises, worship and meditating on His word. Any time you involved in these, it means you're in His presence because the secret place of God is the presence of God
  • Jess on Acts 2
My brother tells me that I must repent and be baptised, I am already baptised, must it be done repeatedly?, or, since I was a baby the first time, or should I do it again as an adult?.
  • Surely. on Psalms 23
I will fear no evil. I WILL FEAR NO EVIL. I will Fear - NO EVIL!!!!! How come the Word and so many preachers mention fear? Its not to the saved. They LOVE GOD. Fear LEADS YOU TO JESUS to be saved. Then no fear for the saved. Here is why: He is with us! It's the ones HE IS NOT WITH unsaved by Jesus Who need to fear. Me? "I will fear no evil". "SURELY GOODNESS and mercy will follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." - Non-negotiable if He is with you. He is with all saved by Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is their witness. See the colon after the word "life"? What follows it better describes what preceded it. Rejoice. As written. Amen
  • MOSES on Judges 2
Dear friends in the LORD a lot can be driven out this portion of scripture however my emphasis is verse 21, GOD let a few tribes during the time of Joshua his servant not as a sign of defeat to him but for the young ISRAELITES to drive out as a task if they really understood their God but instead this guys just copied the evil their subjects were doing this caused them get a curse for a blessing lets check our lives what is that which was left in your life may be family which must be removed? or else you may miss your blessing.
  • Sean on Acts 2
Psalm 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of You In the grave who will give You thanks? Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. Isaiah 38:18 For Sheol the grave cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. Psalm 115:17 The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence. Why do Christians not believe these clear scriptures, which categorically disprove the doctrine of the immortal soul? Notice, the Bible says that when a person dies his memory ceases, he cannot praise God and he has no knowledge or wisdom. In other words, the soul of a person without a body is not conscious. The concept of the immortal soul was the result of pagan beliefs developed by Greek poets and philosophers. The Greek philosopher Plato fully developed the concept of the immortal soul, and this belief infiltrated the Roman Catholic Church and subsequently the Protestant churches. The Bible teaches resurrection, which is a rising from the dead. This is in direct opposition to the pagan belief in an immortal soul. Resurrection is the glorious central truth of the Bible. The Bible says that Jesus Christ earned resurrection immortal life for each and every person through His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.

What is the abomination of desolation going to be?
  • Dave on Psalms 46:7
Father Son and Holy Spirit is with us much more his Angels, therefore we must not fear. Trust him, need a refuge? It's in the Lord.
  • Stephende on Matthew 3
John and Jesus were cousins. John was an ascetic, withdrawn from the world in order to find God. He was at the height of his fame for all men came to him to learn what he had achieved with God. Jesus also was on a Spiritual quest for he stayed back at the Passover to learn from the Pharisee who studied the Torah daily and disputed with one another over the meaning. Everyone was waiting for the Messiah. Was it Jesus? To this day it is the world's biggest controversy. Christians say he is the Son of God. Muslim's say God has no partners but only worshipper's. Jews are patient and are still waiting. I say "Worship whom Jesus worshipped" He was clean from sin and devoted more than anyone. He was not the only resurrected but was the only one to reappear in the flesh to increase the faith worship whom Jesus worshipped.

  • Jaume on Genesis 1
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. - WHO IS US? WHO IS "AFTER OUR IMAGE"? WHOS IS "AFTER OUR LIKENESS"?
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:89
For ever o Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. There is stability in God's word. Jesus said in Matthew 5,"Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled". For ever is from eternity past till eternity future. How serious is God about his word? Psalms 138:2B. for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name. Man may change his opinion about what God has declared, and man has, however what God had ordained as law would always remain law what He had affirmed would always remain true what He had promised would be sure forever. The word settled means fixed, or to stand firm. Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not.
  • Free American on 2 Thessalonians 2:3
To the contrary John, it make perfect sense. If opostasy is the falling away that must come first, that opostacy has pretty much already happened if it's the church that falls away. What church actually preaches scripture-based theology anymore? To the contrary which is NOT preaching redistributive "social justice" of humanism, and its revolutionary progressive collectivism?-of which NO aspect of can be argued for without first establishing an argument against the very existence of God as well as the absolutism of His Eternal Truths? Even the Pope himself has become a champion of its cause... How many trusting souls have they turned away from the spiritual guidence of scripture, toward the earthly works redemption of humanism's collective salvation? None of which according to scripture, can be "saved" by doing so...
  • Mike on 1 Samuel 15
There is a clear and important messag here in 1 Samuel 15. God sent Saul to kill every living thing! Saul intended to do everything God had sent him to do.. but Saul allowed his own thoughts and self guidance to enter in. He out of the goodness of his heart, Thinking it would be pleasing to God decided to keep the best of sacrafices, and to spare the life of the King, long enough to take the King, and these animals to sacrafice unto God, again thinking this was going the extra mile, and thus adding his own ways ... what's the message? God does not want what he doesn't ask for!! When we start adding to the word of God because we think it will enhance God's word, we are treading on dangerous ground. If it's not in the Bible new testament law we live under then don't do it! Even if you think it's a good thing in your opinion! There is nothing in New Testament about Sunday Schools, or Live entertainment with big bands, or a host of other things going on in churches today... be careful ..even the best intentions, can bring on the wrath of God.. Just something for Bible believers to think about, brought and offered in the spirit of Love and Compassion toward the Believer.
  • Maria Sandows on John 7
My thinking of John 7 is the natural man's thinking. Questions ? "is HE NOT FROM GALILEE" Division is caused by difference in opinion.Clever people ,Natural people trying to figure out spiritual things.Revelation would have shown the people who Jesus was but we try to use logic to understand God. Just train your spirit man to show you who is behind the veil
