  • Jesus to Peter - 2 years ago
In Mathew 16 is a great record of jesus Christ talking to Peter or Cephas in regards to who he was and

what he was going to build. Starting verse 13 who do men say that I am, then in verse 16 Peter as always was his up

and down bold nature said thou art the Christ the son of the living God. Then Jesus said blessed art thou because

flesh and blood has not shown you this, the same with us. Then verse 18 Thou art Peter which means a stone

or pebble but talking about Himself upon this rock [petra large immovable rock or boulder]I will build my church

ekklesia[that which is called out] and the gates of hell won't prevail against it. Showing that He was going to be

head of the body of believers and the Chief cornerstone.

What is the meaning of Habakkuk chapter 3, verse 4 of the King James Version:

"And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power."

If anyone can provide their beliefs as to the meaning I would so appreciate your thoughts.

Psalm 19 is just astounding praise to God's creation. A pause for deep reflection. Have you ever truly looked at the sky...especially on a clear day? Admire it's awesome dome, cloud formations, color variation in clouds and sky. As to the sun, what a sight for light; experience its rays. And at nights, with or without the moon or stars, just simply amazing. Leaves me speechless every time...what an all encompassing Mighty God! Only God! All praise and Glory to His name 1/3/2022.

Who do you expect the second beast of revelation is? I've narrowed down that it is a nation with nukes, as it can rain fire down from heaven (or the heavens) and that it may or may not be landlocked because it is a nation out of land.

    .....continued

So Moses, buried the dead Egyptian in the sand,, thinking no Egyptian had witnessed the event. However, the next day, upon observing two Hebrews fist fighting, he called out the wrongdoer. They came right back at him and said, "Who made you a prince and judge over us?" and pointed out that they knew he had killed the Egyptian. This made Moses fearful, thinking that if these knew of the killing, surely others with authority may know. And he was right. Pharaoh found out and sought to kill him. It is not known how much of a relationship Moses had with the Pharaoh. But Pharaoh probably did not have a deep love for Moses.

Moses fled as fast as he could travel across the upper Arabian desert to the land of Midian. The Midianites were descendants of Abraham through Keturah, is wife after Sarah died. So, they were distantly related. Moses was 40 years old when he went to Midian. There he met the daughters of Reuel, a priest (don't know if he was a priest of the true God or a priest of a pagan god). The daughters were being harassed by other shepherds at the well where they were to water their sheep. Moses steps in and helps them water the flocks and resist the harassers. When the daughters go home, they tell their father what happened. When he ears, he says something like, "Well, why did you leave him there. Bring him here so we can share a meal! (Remember, he had 7 daughters, and good men were probably hard to find in them parts. So, Moses arrives and is welcomed into the household, given Zipporah to marry, and stays in the land of Midian, serving Reuel and family as a shepherd. He has a son, Gershom. Moses was probably initially unfamiliar with the Midianites and the land, as he most likely spent most of his time in Egypt. But then again, he knew how to travel through the desert country and reach Midian on the east sore of the Gulf of Aqaba.

While in Midian, the king of Egypt died (who was wanting to kill Moses). But it is not known if Moses knew.

    Matthew 28 v 18 , 19 , 20

In verse 18 Jesus says all power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and earth .

Who is the superior one that gave him this power ? Must be his father God .

Verse 20 I am with you always , even unto the end of the world

He is speaking to his disciples , that would be the church .

How does one see a rapture pretrib in this statement ? It's not there .

I have a question...is anyone here on this King James Version on line site...Go to a "In Jesus Name" Church..been "Baptized in Jesus Name" (not the Father The Son and the Holy Ghost) ..been filled with the "Holy Ghost" ..baptized in "Water & Spirit" so to speak ..AND speaks in Tongues ...evidence of Holy Ghost is speaking in Tongues ( a language between you and God) ,,dose anyone here have that Belief ??

That we are to be "Born again" by the water and the Spirit ??

I'm not trying to start no trouble here , for I love this site very much..and everyone I talked to on YouTube..no one ever said "Yes me" ..they all put me down or didn't believe these things..even though they said they believe in the Holy Ghost..

Just wondering what y'all think about this ..it is hard to find someone like this except at my Church...Pentecostal Apostolic....we can't be that rare ...anyone here Believe "Jesus IS God" ?? ..that there is "One" God and "One" door to heaven ? Through Christ Jesus ...

Not trying to start no trouble here..Okay.

    Catherine.

    A prayer

May we survive this year and prosper. May we never be negative.

Hope and believe in miracles from Heaven even when we don't deserve it.

Be humble and kind. Not a keeper of slights. Trust God for the result...and may He shut our mouth when unbelief creeps up on us. amen

Isn't it something, Peggy, how that homosexuality has populated into something celebrated and even 'honored by gov't legislature' from a silent, in-closet, ashamed-of behavior? This indicates that not only the popular view has changed, but also that the behavior is becoming a common, lesser ashamed-of behavior which aligns with Paul's statement here in verses 24--26. The sin that Paul is referring to, he explains conspicuously and irrefutably in THREE parts: 1) dishonor of their bodies between themselves, 2) worship of the CREATURE rather than the CREATOR, 3) Changing of the NATURAL USE into that which is against nature. We do not know why many of the prophets and writers of scripture did not mention this sin...although a few did mention it, like Paul and Moses... One might conclude that perhaps it was "a given" since even the Gentiles, as Paul said in ch.2 v.14 and 15..."those without the law who knew by nature the things contained in the law...and that these having NOT the law are a law unto themselves"...and (finally), "which shews the work of the law written in their hearts, etc." I believe we not only know in our hearts if our sin is against nature, but when we defy this understanding and 'do it anyway', there must be consequence. It is summarized in v.32. Shame on us when we know what is wrong and do it anyway!

If there were no people on earth before Adam and Eve, why did God tell them to be fruitful and multiply and REPLENISH the earth? The word "replenish" implies there were others before. How do you REPLENISH something that wasn't there before?
