Well God bless you abundantly Chris - whether pillars or a foundation, On a spinning ball Earth model - Neither can be possible . in fact as you said a house, or I say this tent (with a firmament over it) the Lord has provide for us us to dwell in - Must have a foundation

Psalms 61 is just one of the many places the earth is referred to as having ends or corners - In all the years I have lived on this Earth - I have never seen a ball with ends or corners!!

Even the controlled media gets all confused trying to keep the lie - I ask you this - How many times have you heard the expression " We bring you news from all corners of the GLOBE" rather a strange statement - Don't you think?

Anyhow mate - "Let God be true and every man a liar"

Earths cosmology has nothing to do with salvation - BUT! Everything to do with DECEPTION

Once again Chris - May the lord God almighty bless you and your family abundantly

I only reply to comments once, as I find it fruitless volleying emails back and forth - Lets both pray for revelation of the truth from the builder himself - Flick him a prayerful email in the Spirit and see what his reply is - I'm 100% happy with my answers
  • Mitchell Wright - in Reply on 1 Samuel 2:8
That is a metaphore for the foundation of the world. The bible talks about paths in the seas in Psalms 8, and really that is talking about ocean currents. Pillars of Creation are also mentioned and you dont see those either.

    This is the truth.

    Ungodly Influences

In this chapter we see the Moabites influencing Israel to worship Baal even though they new God's Word concerning this issue. In making application we see the importance of not yoking or being influenced by the ungodly but to simply trust the Word of God. How about you? Do you see the how the ungodly try to influence the redeemed through their actions? Let us learn from our text today and the life Amos to see that the wicked will attempt to influence those who serve the Lord so let us hold fast to the Word of God so we will receive the blessings of God.

Jesse, if I could add one more to your list in an otherwise great response:

Number four: it is not a necessity to have that gift (1 Corinthians 12:30). Albert quoted verse 29 correctly, but should have also included verse 30.

Though having said that, a Pentecostal acquaintance actually interpreted v 30 this way in support of the gift: "do all speak with tongues?', should be read, "do (a command, a must) all (believers) speak with tongues". Needless to say, I was rendered speechless & floundering.
  • Chris - in Reply on Hebrews 11:3
I think that if we accept the experiments conducted & hypotheses formed as a result, then the physical laws are correct (e.g. in relation to mass & energy: "that neither matter nor energy can be created nor destroyed, but converted into another form"). This assumes man's observations of matter around him which draws the above conclusion. The problem arises with Hebrews 11:3, when we read "that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear". We often understand this verse to mean that what we see came from things which we don't see (i.e. atoms). If we stayed with the Law of Mass & Energy, then God had to use atoms in His creative work. Is then God confined by this Law? Or dare we presume that there was no matter in infinite time, but God, Who Himself is without matter, also created the basic building blocks of matter? So what I see here is that Science can only be based on observable, experimental deductions; it simply cannot go beyond that, since that would require faith, or as they might regard it, "blind belief".

Then this creative work of God, when applied to living beings, still has its substance in matter (i.e. the (dust) of the Earth, to which it will return). Yet, as you said, "we do not die when our body dies" would be true if confined to the physical, i.e. the body (matter) returns to dust (matter). Though, can we say the same for the spirit of man? This is not matter, not created from it nor will transform in some way into it. It is God-created & will one day return back to Him (Eccl 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."). This doesn't prove that we were alive before our birth but that at the giving of life, God also gave us a spirit (not matter, nor recycled) that is not subject to death. And with all this, God even knew us (about being a special creation with a specific purpose in life). God's creative Work goes well outside the bounds of human Science. Further thoughts?

This is the first think that caught my attention in Matthew 28:1-2 When the two Marys approached the tomb, there was an great earthquake because the angel of the Lord had descended from Heaven. Three things about this: first, even when we are doing the Lord honor, fearful things may happen around us. Second, a question comes to mind. Are all earthquakes caused because of angelic activity? Third, the angel of the Lord was not Jesus because he had not yet ascended to his Father. Happy to hear your thoughts on these points.

And to your question: "If the beginning of the earth was the first seven days of creation found in Genesis 1:2 - 2:4, then when did the fall of Satan occur?" This question is moot. There will always be theories when Satan's fall occurred. It could have been at some time after the creation of the angelic host (Isaiah 14:12-15), maybe after God's creative Work had ended. It may have been according to the type given in Ezekiel 28:12-17, when Satan was already in Eden & from thence he fell into sin; or even in (Revelation 12:7-9) where Satan & his angels were cast out of Heaven to the Earth after Jesus ascended to the Father (though this option wouldn't work, as Satan was already active way before this time on Earth). So, I have to plead ignorance to your question, as the Scriptures don't give me a clear answer, though if compelled, I would lean towards the Isaiah description.

D.J., thank you for your response. I will still go back to Genesis 1:28 for clarification, as this verse seems to be where my misunderstanding lies. Since you stated that, "The instructions given to Adam are completely different than the instructions given to the rest of mankind", I could only assume that there were some other instructions given to the rest of us. However, you say that the instructions in Genesis 1:28 also applies to us, hence I couldn't work out, & still can't, what these other 'completely different instructions' are, since Genesis 1:28 applies to both Adam & Even & us. So this still remains confusing. Hence, my mind got carried away, that if there were other instructions to other people, then who were they, if not the progeny of our first parents? Then the rest of your remarks on your Page 1 I would agree with, if both Adam & us received the same instructions & not different ones.

And I noted your comments in your Page 2. However, my comments to which you referenced, only applied to my wonder as to those 'different instructions given to us', then your further comments (page 2) had no direct bearing to them, & therefore I would agree with them. Your reference to the "three heaven & earth ages", I would say refer to the sky, universe & earth, rather than to the Heaven of God's Abode. Is that what you meant?

Let me ask this this question of Job also " Does a spinning ball earth rocketing wildly through ( so called space) have have foundations? If he were alive his answer would have to be no!

In verse 5, the Lord also asks Job "Who has measured it - Do you know?" Or who has stretched a line upon it? (to measure it)

Let me ask you this "How can anyone measure a spinning ball earth rocketing wildly through (to be precise) The FIRMAMENT with a line? Only a flat surface can be measured with a line!

What the woman above said could be truth.

Evil men prosper when good men do nothing. Probably hoping someone else will do something. Is this herd mentality?

If God shook the earth, then so can we in our prayer life; specifically spiritual warfare life. Prayers move heaven into action.

Jesus says to pray for our enemies.

    Matthew 12:44 and Romans 12:14

In addressing your comment mentioning that God would not properly be representing all races; I will state that God chose Adam and his lineage to bring forth, umbilical cord to umbilical cord, the Savior of the world (Genesis 3:15). That promise by our heavenly Father made this particular lineage the most important lineage to ever walk on the face of the planet. All other peoples and nations mentioned in the Bible are only due to their interaction, good or bad, (Isaiah 10:5) with God's chosen people and the nation of Israel.

We are all children of God, blessed by Him, and given freewill to believe whatever we want!

On a side note, you state that Adam and Eve were made "in the image of God." The PLURAL words of God stating "in OUR image, after OUR likeness" (Genesis 1:27) is the intention of God to make the mortal features of mankind to be a physical reflection of God and the angels. We are to be a representative figure of what we looked like in the 1st Dispensation of time. We are an illusion of that spiritual body, but delivered unto these flesh bodies in order to be tried and tested by God by the very freewill He grants unto us. How could God the Father and His only begotten Son know us beforehand if the first time we came into existence was in these flesh bodies in this 2nd Dispensation of time? The answer is simple; God "did foreknow" (Romans 8:29) each and every one of us because we were all there in the 1st Dispensation of time. The only One made in the true image of God is His only begotten Son (John 5:37, John 10:30 John 14:7, John 14:9, Colossians 1:14, Colossians 1:15. The clear understanding that there are 3 heaven and earth ages can be found in 2 Peter 3:6, 2 Peter 3:7, 2 Peter 3:13.

    (page 1)

I appreciate your feedback concerning the creation of Adam and Eve.

In reply to your first question, I believe that was answered in the original post. Scripture states that God created mankind on the 6th day, both male and female. God then B-L-E-S-S-E-D them, and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and RE-plenish the earth, and subdue it. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 1:27, Genesis 1:28). These are the instructions given to the rest of mankind. We are clearly neither insignificant nor are we worthless in His sight. We are all children of God with power given by Him to choose for ourselves who or what we want to believe. God makes the choice even easier: Be a part of His family of everlasting life or be a part of Satan's family of death.

Your phrase "or later" in regards to creation after the 6th day, I would point to Genesis 2:1, Genesis 2:2, and Genesis 2:3, which states that God FINISHED all of His creative work by the end of the 6th day; mankind being the last and greatest (and most confused) creative accomplishment.

I do not account for the existence of "cavemen." Scripture does not leave room for evolution. God states that He "created" (Genesis 1:27) man. You and I were born, not created, as Adam, Eve, and the other Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the races (i.e. genealogy, Luke 3:23 - 39). Have we evolved from Adam?

Concerning a race or races of "sinless" people out there in the world I would point to Scripture found in Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:22.

Deborah: one of satans names is Destroyer. Just like he did with Eve, he studies us to see where he can break in; to steal, kill and destroy.

The first step to be truly free is to FORGIVE every person who has hurt you; or that you have hurt. It is you closing the Door that the demons entered. Forgive Yourself. Every time that strongman demon accuses you of unforgiveness; say it again: even a 1000 times till it takes root in your soul and mind. Say it out loud. Heaven and Hell are listening.

This person has opened a door (drugs) so that Satan, or his demons can oppress them. Notice I did not say possess. The war is taking place in your MIND. The mind is talking up a storm or it is calm and settled on Jesus. We don't have to pray Big long inspired prayers. If one just prays "Jesus" out loud...everything in heaven and under heaven, jumps into action. Demons flee and angels surround the person they seek.

    Close the doors.

When I was set free from drugs I was DONE with putting things in my mouth that hurt me. I poured out the alcohol, flushed all the pills, and sat on the sofa to be killed by the DT's. (Detox reactions). I waited all day and went to bed exhausted. I felt sure detox would kill me the next day. I waited and waited. Then it dawned in my mind that maybe Jesus had set me free?! Days piled upon days. I began to praise the Lord for setting me Free! I drove by liquor stores and didn't pull in.

Best part is my mind cleared. I slept like a normal person. I gave attention to my family. I was no longer the lone focus of my life. I cooked food and enjoyed it, but did not allow it to be used by demons to destroy my health. They will use anything!! Food got Adam & Eve thrown out of Eden. Pray over everything that goes in your Mouth.

Weeks turn into months into years. The date you started to wait to die is a billboard in the past. Give praise to the Lord for showing you how to be free. Help someone else to get free. Stay free.
  • Jesse - in Reply on Philemon 1

Also, I see a beautiful picture of how the book of Philemon parallels God's grace and mercy. Onesimus, being a runaway slave who had stolen from his master Philemon, and back in those days, if a slave ran away and was caught, they would be put to death. So here is Onesimus who stole from his master Philemon and ran away. But somehow he gets put into prison in Rome, and who does he run into? Paul. They didn't know each other. And so Onesimus hears Paul preaching and teaching the gospel. And Paul is ministering to him, so Onesimus receives Christ and is saved.

And Onesimus tells Paul what he did. He stole from his master and ran away, and that's why he's in Rome. So Paul inquires as to where he's from and he says Colossae. So Paul says I've been to Colossae and I know some people from Colossae. What's the man's name? He says Philemon. And Paul says I know Philemon. He has the church in his home in Colossae.

So it is interesting how God worked all of this. You think you can travel 1,000 miles away so you won't get caught, but God has someone waiting on the other end. How I see the parallel to our salvation is that we have sinned against God (Our master) and the wages of sin is death. But Jesus Christ paid our debt. In Philemon, Onesimus sinned against his master Philemon. But Paul writes to Philemon and says whatever he has stolen from you; whatever the debt is that he owes you, I will repay it back to you myself. What a beautiful picture of grace and mercy!

Chapter 11 thru 14 is so powerful. God will do a thing to make us hear. Then if we don't no amount of sacrifice will cover us. Terrifying. I am curious about chapter 13. Could this also apply to our nation as well? as people put Satan above all, not individual who believe, but an unsaved millions, and we have been unable to stop it thru the vote because of satanic rebellion, do we bare a certain responsibility,, and therefore are herded into compounds so to speak. Do we accept it as guilt? Failure? Right now our nation is on fire. We now have in the congress, the most evil people. I didn't vote for them. But over the years have I been a Eli that just let things happen. I am not looking for any absolution but desperately trying to understand how we got where we are. I know God has all of it under control. Love God's word.
  • Jesse - in Reply on Acts 19:2
There is only one place in the bible that specifically gives us the purpose for tongues, and that is 1 Corinthians 14:22. Acts Chapter 2 is a perfect example of the proper use of "tongues." Unfortunately, the church today does not conform to the biblical use of speaking in tongues. Many today are in total violation of 1 Cor. 14:22. The tongues that are being taught today are not the tongues of the bible. The verses you have shared make no mention at all about tongues being the evidence that a believer has received the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit.

When a person receives Christ, they receive His Spirit. If we are trusting God's promise to give us His Spirit when we call out to Him to save us, why would we need evidence? Wouldn't seeking for evidence be the same as not trusting God to fulfill His promise to give us His Spirit? If we require evidence of our salvation, then how can we say we have faith? God's promise in Romans 10:13 is that all who call upon Him shall be saved. That is His promise. He gives us His Spirit. Without His Spirit, there is no salvation, and we are given that in Romans 8:9. You mentioned Acts 2:38 which is a great verse to show that those who repent are promised God's Spirit. That is all we are promised to receive. Many people today are being deceived by the teachings on "tongues" which is causing them to doubt their salvation because they are being told that tongues is the evidence of their salvation. There are three point-blank facts about speaking in tongues that the bible gives us.

Number one: It is a known language. Not necessarily known to the person speaking, but it is a human language.

Number two: It is a sign.

Number three: It is to unbelievers, not believers.

That was wonderful to read that you have repented, turned away from sin & a sinful lifestyle & following your Saviour. And that is a great verse you shared in John 14:21. Did you notice the previous verse (v 20)? "ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." There's another verse similar to it: "For ye are dead (i.e. dead to your old life), and your life is hid with Christ in God."(Colossians 3:3).

One preacher very simply demonstrated this Truth: clench your right fist: that is Jesus Christ keeping you (inside the fist) secure in Himself. Now take your left hand & close it over your right fist: this is Jesus Christ "in My Father". Then the preacher asked, "now tell me where are you?" Of course, the answer is that we are "in Christ & together we are in God", a no greater security & love that we could ever receive.

So the fact is that both your salvation & eternity are secure in Jesus' finished Work at the Cross according to the Father's Plan. Even a "backslider of the worst kind" can find total forgiveness, for there is no sin so great that His Blood cannot cover. "Will you ever find that which you lost?" That is exactly what His Spirit is there to do in you: as you spend time in God's Word, as you pray & seek His Face often, He will become more & more real to you, not just a feeling, but in your daily walk. You will notice how something that has happened was clearly of the Lord's doing, or some Word given to you when you needed it most. And all this will help you to know the Lord more & grow in your faith. I have found that it is of greater worth when I've spent more of my prayer time in praise & worship of God than with other matters. Talk to your Lord of His Wonder & Glory, of His Love & Sacrifice, of the blessings that he has showered upon you.

    1 Timothy 2:5

    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

There is no benefit to pray to Mary. Because she is not God. It is abomination to pray to her.

1st commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

    Exodus 23:24

Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
  • Andrew Kingsly Raj on Amos 1

In this chapter we see Amos speaking of the judgement of God as it relates to Sin. The truth is that a Holy God must judge sin and this is why Jesus had to come to make a way for you and I to be saved from our sin. In making application we see today many belive God will overlook sin or that my good works will pay for my sins but nothing could further from the Truth. Sin seperates us from a Holy God and Only Those who have been born again are saved from their sin. How about you? Have you been born again? Let us learn from our text today and the warning from Amos that a Holy God will Judge our Sin.

MB what is the Bible definition of an antichrist?

1 John 2:22 - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (ALL Jews deny Jesus and that makes them antichrist, if they believed in Jesus then they would be CHRISTIANS. IF you do not believe me call any Synagogue and ask them if Jesus is the Messiah.)1 John 2:23 - Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

If Jews do not accept Jesus as messiah, then who is their messiah? SATAN?

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

At least muslims consider Jesus a prophet of the Lord. Jews consider Jesus as FALSE PROPHET AND DECEIVER.

Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2:14, 16 - For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, EVEN AS THEY HAVE OF THE JEWS: WHO BOTH KILLED THE LORD JESUS, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and THEY PLEASE NOT GOD, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: FOR THE WRATH IS COME UPON THEM TO THE UTTERMOST.
