  • Karl on Genesis 4
responds to Billy; I ask the same question regarding cain's wife. If you read Genesis 1:26,27,28, then read Genesis 2:8, did the LORD create humans, and then create the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve, planting a seed so to speak? How's that sound to you? Anybody else have the same question? Looking for an insightful answer.

I read this and started wondering. The part where it says that they laid the lame man at the temple door to beg for alms.Who is they? Was it the people that ran the temple, did they lay him there to exploit him for what was given to him,did they keep the alms for themselves or give it to the lame man. God healed him through Peter.I wonder if this upset the people who laid him there?

  • SON of God. on John 16:24
I think someone missed the verse before? Jesus is not His Father!! You ask FATHER in Jesus name. You are not asking Jesus when asking His Father as the opener clearly shows. 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
  • Belai Haile

When I read the Bible, I real commun icate with God.Isn't it wonderful? Jesus Christ is full God and Man do you know that? If you do, you're blessed if not please ask God to give you understanding. I love you Jesus Christ.

  • Karl on Revelation 1
open question; anybody else scratch their head after reading this book? The initial message to the churches timeless and easily applicable. The celestial/terrestrial events are plain enough, the visionary portion is understandable, and even the final combination of both is somewhat discernable. My problem is arises when I try to reconcile all three into one cohesive prophecy. Any insights?
  • Rev. Wanda M. Shoap on 1 Samuel 3
"Kenneth Burgess" about 1 Samuel Chapter 3...
"Did Ezekiel physically see GOD?" Though 1 Samuel 3 is not speaking about Ezekiel-- but Samuel-- neither of them physically saw God. The word of the LORD came (spoke) to Ezekiel. He looked and he saw a vision as the LORD's hand was upon him. Ezekiel 1:3 They both are excellent examples as to how the Lord speaks to us, beside through scriptures.
  • Marcelo on Matthew 24
4-28 It is reasonable why Jesus did not gave them the answer, when the disciples asked him "Tell us, when this things shall be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming..." It was not necessary to make know them the length of time and the signs because his coming is not "by and by", so the purpose to make know them all that things that have to happen and it still going on in this presents days.
  • Karl on Ezekiel 1
responds to Kenneth; GOOD QUESTION! What did Ezekiel see? The LORD of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Samuel, and Elijah (1Kings19) does not seem to be the God of Ezekiel. Perhaps the question we should be asking is not so much WHAT did he see, but WHY did he see it? My interpretation is that this manifestation was meant for a people familiar with Babylonian imagery. Does the LORD need a spaceship?
  • Lois Goodwin on Isaiah 45
In verse 23 'EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW is it talking about only the Christians or sinners also will
    bow?
  • Kenneth Burgess on 1 Samuel 3

  • Norm on Acts 10
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
  • Karl on Isaiah 1
responds to ms. Dusty; do you think perhaps the message/lesson(s) we are meant to learn from the prophetic books are just as valid in the 21st century - repent while you still can, trust in the LORD for your salvation? That same message for "stubborn rebellious children" still resonates true? How's that sound to you?
  • Karl on Acts 10
responds to Norm; I thought I was clear, no need to hammer me with scripture. Paul was not one of the original apostles, only a student of. His epistles are a treasury of scripture, not disputing their merits. My problem was with in Book of acts, and Peter's words in particular, having received the gift of the Holy spirit, does it not read as if he was elevating himself and reducing the LORD?
  • Sydney Heimericks on Luke 7
what do i think of Luke ..... ? what i think is - it's not what i think of Luke; because 'Luke' is part of God's word - it's what Luke (God) thinks of me. I didn't 'choose' God; He chose me.

I cannot tell you what i think of 'Luke' because to God - it does not matter.
