Jesus made a distinction between sins that will be forgiven and the sin that will never be forgiven in Mark 3.
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
Even some blasphemy shall be forgiven but there is a blasphemy that shall never be forgiven. It is very important to understand the difference. Jesus actually paid for the sins of the whole world on the cross, with the exception of the sin here referred to as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
One key detail we should note about the "unpardonable sin" is that it is not a sin of ignorance. Nobody can commit the unpardonable sin in ignorance. Nicodemus had already testified of the Pharisees that they knew Jesus was of God because of the miracles he did ( John 3:2) but the Pharisees here accused Jesus of performing miracles by the power of the devil.
What was the real crime here that was so serious as to seal a person's doom in hell? It was the crime of lying against the known truth of God revealing a hateful rejection of the Holy Spirit's message to their hearts that Jesus is God and that sinners must come to Him for forgiveness and salvation. When the Holy Spirit enlightens a sinner if that sinner rejects the light he stands near the dropping off point into hell reserved for all who hatefully reject Jesus because of their love for sin.
Psalms 84 :10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
1. Court is a village, town, a hall, a palace.
2. "For a day in THY courts is better than a thousand" One day in your present is a lifetime of blessing, joy, and happiness.
3. What is a doorkeeper? A doorkeeper is a person who tends a door. If I can work at your door for one day, I will praise you. I will rejoice. Just to be in his present.
4. Who is the wickedness? Wickedness is unrighteousness, unjust, mischief, hurt, bad, trouble, and evil.
I have read all of the comments on psalms 101, but no where in any of the discussions, have i found any reference to : psalms 101"1-- did everyone leave this scripture out on purpose? i would like to know the answer ? scripture , if not fully discussed, is not truth> let's discuss what david wrote here..... "i will sing of mercy and judgement: unto thee, o lord, will i sing'. why is discussion on this left out?
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
This verse does not mean that every sinner born on earth will go to hell any more than it means every sinner born on earth will be made alive in Christ. However, every sinner now on earth lives, moves, and has his being because of Christi just as ever human who ever lived or lives now will experience death in the flesh because of Adam.
John 3 tells us that sinners who do not believe in Jesus are already condemned. Why are they condemned, because they were born of Adam? No, they are condemned because they have not believed in Jesus. God does not condemn sinners to hell for the sins of others, but for their own sin.
Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Hello everyone. I'm recently trying to find meaning, peace and get my Faith back. I'm wondering if you could give me some websites, books, youtube channels etc. that you know that you enjoy and that have helped you. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to understand what Jesus died for our sins really means. Jesus died on the cross for us so that we should not perish but have everlasting life, so How were people saved in the Old Testament if it was a time prior to Jesus death? how could they have eternal life? also if people could be saved prior to Jesus death then why did he have to die? I hope someone can help me understand, God bless you!
Micah 6:8 sums up the whole duty of man just like Matthew 22 summarizes what is important in the completed witness of the law and the prophets.
Micah 6:8
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Matthew 22
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Irene 123 pointed out Eccl 12:13, which is also a summation of all that God requires of men.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Why do we celebrate Jesus Birthday on the 25th of December when He doesn't tell us when He was born? We are not suppose to celebrate His Birthday or He would have told us the date He was bprn. Why are we putting a Christmas tree up in our house and decorating it with garland and glass Balls when God plainly tells us
what he is going to do with that tree when he comes and it won't be good. Why are we celebrating Christs birthday on a Pagen Holiday. Why did we follow the Catholic church when they chose Sunday to be the Sabbath day when the Sabbath is clearly on Saturday.
Did Jesus "Back Away" from Jerusalem before entering on a donkey? Did he not want to go into Jerusalem? I heard a preacher say this and I've never heard that before? My belief is that Jesus is GOD and knows all things. Why would he back away. He knew is purpose on earth.
Referring to both books of Samuel and to the reports of a whole series of massacres inflicted upon various and many other tribes by Israel who were progressively invading the "Promised Land" with the assistance of GOD - indeed could not possibly have achieved their objective, also GODs objective in keeping his covenant with Israel.
How does this fit with the Ten Commandment that GOD gave to Moses?
And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
Job 32:10
Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
Job 32:17
I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
There are three times in the KJV that the English word "opinion" is used, all in Job 32. The book of Job is a book of arguments. The word "arguments" is found only one time in the Bible, also in Job.
Job 23:4
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
The English word "arguing" is also found only one time in the Bible, in Job.
Job 6:25
How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?
Job and his three friends all expressed their opinions and argued in support of their opinions but God rebuked all four of them in the end for the errors in their thinking. Elihu was not rebuked and he was the only one of the lot who did not come across as one who is right and everyone else was wrong. He gave his opinions (which were right), called them his opinions, and offered for any of the others to prove him wrong after he spoke.
Elihu was right and should be a lesson to us about arguing our opinions in front of others. Give our views as our views and genuinely and politely allow others to express opposition with their arguments.
HOW DO WE CALCULATE Jesus time of his ministry ? and how could his brothers not have seen his life events , there is nothing written about Jesus from the time he was 12 years od , until he was baptized by John the Baptist . or have I missed something ?

[ Luke 9: the account of Jesus's Transfiguration]
28-29 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, Jesus took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
And as Jesus prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
Verses 33-35
And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three (CHURCHES) tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: NOT knowing what he said.
While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: HEAR HIM!!
Here is my reply on Sabbath arguments: God doesn't care about our rituals, buildings or projects, which day of the week, etc.
It causes strife, arguing, anger and Chaos. WHO is the god of Chaos? Satan laughs at us!
When the doors are open for services and communion, attend. It's that simple. What God said, is the bottom line. It was Jesus's custom to attend church when he was in town. He is the Church. If his life is inside of us, we are a member of that Church.
I have church in my home often. I turn off tv, internet, the phone-put on simple praise music
And enter into worship. It's Jesus's Church. We are IN CHRIST. This is what God meant. Hear Jesus.
We are mobile Churches. We are his hands, his feet, we carry his Word within us. Go Ye into the community.
We know "who" is the originator of anger, disgust, rebellion. His TIME is short. He's advancing on Jesus's Church. Resist it in Jesus Name. Let Jesus love flow out instead. It's a daily choice.
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Sin is not imputed where there is no law.
Romans 5:13
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
What does that tell us?
1. That nobody goes to hell for Adam's sin.
2. Salvation is not given to sinners for keeping the law.
