    A very fundamental lesson

All flesh is appointed to die.

Every soul that sin shall die the 2nd death.

There's a new birth at conversion for those who trust in Christ. This is defined in baptism.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27.

There is in scripture what is called the 2nd death. This has been taken care of for those who trust Christ.

    Without Christ you're already dead.

    1 Timothy 5:6.

    Ephesians 2:5.

    Revelation 3:1.

    Colossians 2:13.

    Romans 8:10.

    Mathew 8:22.

    Luke 15:24.

And here's an important one for the brethren.

    1 John 3:14.

John 11:25-26. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

AND WHOSOEVER LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE. Believest thou this?

One of many verses on the 2nd death.

Revelation 20:13-14. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

    Eternal life.

If you truly trust in Christ, you have been baptized into Christ. You already have ETERNAL life. That's the only kind he's giving.

If you haven't truly trusted in Christ you're already dead while you liveth and it shows up in your living and it observed carefully you'll find it in their Doctrine.

    Romans 8:9.

    Romans 10:8-10. But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    God bless.

There was a time when one removed his jacket in heated debate's , this was a sign to put up or shut up! What was going through Aron's mind when He rent His clothes confronting the unbelievers ,trusting with all Confidence, being assured in those He and Moses sent out, who returned with the reconnaissance they believed!

Even so today, we see an unbelieving nation who have no fear of what they do or say! Whom God has sent too you; God fearing men who believe and trust the words of God! Who bring you the reconnaissance, so vital to your existence?

Indeed, even so the time of restitution will begin according to His will, we shall see what happens after 10. This will be the time of no turning back, that the judgment shall begin.

There will, of course be those who think that they are right, and shall proceed, only to an end, unforgiven ending in death and darkness. These will be those who live according to the law, and not the faith given through the blood and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ! Rent and be Baptized

  • Albert joiner on Revelation 16 - 1 year ago
where in the bible dose it talk about the bottomless pit
  • Richard H Priday on Job 26 - 1 year ago
This chapter once again demonstrates knowledge of the afterlife that already was revealed by God. We see in verse 5 and 6 that there are spirit forms under the sea; and hell is naked. This brings to reminder the resurrection of the wicked in Rev. 22. Verse 7 likely is talking about an empty stretch of sky in the north where mysteriously; there are few galaxies or stars visible. It would seem that heaven is somewhere beyond that region. The fact that earth s "hanging on nothing" in that same verse would tie in with the orbital pass through the solar system in a vacuum.

Moving on to verse 8; the basic hydrologic cycle with clouds filled with immense amounts of water vapor are shown not to burst; which reinforces God's promises in Genesis never to flood the earth again worldwide. Keep in mind Job was likely a book by a character around not too long after this event.

Verse 9 reminds us somewhat of later representations of the heavenly throne. Verse 10 shows how the earth and sea for now are separated; but as Rev 22 also indicates; there will be no more sea after the Millennium and when the earth and its works are burned up; as described in 2 Peter 3:10. Verse 10 also may show how; for instance there is a distinct boundary between oceans; such as is with the Atlantic and Pacific.

Verse 11 is a bit vague; perhaps related to Seal Judgments? Verse 12 could refer to the Exodus event. Verse 13 may be representative of a snake in general or Satan himself; in the end all things are created beings but the Triune God Himself.

While the hierarchy of the church watched Him drag His cross, could they have questioned themselves saying have "we have made a mistake"?

The Roman soldier, can you hear Him saying, I hope He is almost dead when he arrives on this Hill! His conscience burning within Him as the thought that He must drive the nails that will hold this Holy One from the Cross!

Can you see Christ dragging his own cross, exhausted, bleeding out, with the dust that would cauterize His wounds.

Oh the thoughts of those who were under the command, those who would play the part that would haunt them for generations! Can you hear the centurion, as He says truly this is the Son of God?

The nation even today, who wish to silence these words. The nation who wish to comfort their souls believing they have done Gods will. Repent and be Baptized
  • Fred - 1 year ago
The spirit of evil will works its work through the unbelieving soul. Those who do it ignorantly, and those who know the truth and have deliberately chosen it's way.

Evil has a mission. It must provide its own promises and rewards unto those who expect it, else what would be the reason?

Riches, power, manipulation, deception, all this and more unto those who will worship this one who has made himself into an angel of light, that He may gain the preeminence , deceiving the very elect!

Be not deceived, God is not mocked . You cannot serve two masters, you will love only one or the other ,but never both.

The day of judgment hath arrived!

Remember that the meek shall inherit the earth!

    Repent and be Baptized
