Daniel 8:10 and Revelation 12:4a are an account of the same event. The tail that is mentioned in Revelation 12:4a is the same one mentioned in Isaiah 9:15.

Could it be that many are not saved because they do not believe in the full finished work of Christ on the cross. Is not this belief in Jesus finished work on the cross-no turning back to works for salvation, other sacrifices etc etc-the narrow way? Hence few will be saved? We either answer the knock and believe that Jesus is the narrow (only) way unto salvation, or we don't, and trust that God WILL protect and preserve us until the end, hence giving us strength to persevere in our faith and experience the joy of our salvation.

In this chapter, Jacob asked his household to put away the strange gods in their possession. But in verse 4, they also gave up their earrings, is their anything wrong with earrings or is it also among the strange gods?.

Thanking you for taking up my question. I look forward to your comments.

There is a passage in Corinthians that talks about....."It is better to be in the House of the mourning than the House of Merriment?

It compares being at someone's passing as oppose to being at someone's birthday. Because at someone's passing you have time to reflect on your own mortality.

Notice they sought Jesus of Nazareth, the lowly son of the carpenter. The gospel is hid to them that are lost.

Now the name Jesus of Nazareth is the name above all creatures, above all creation. Jesus of Nazareth inscribed above his cross.

    Jesus of Nazareth is God.

Also, the scriptures were fulfilled even in the details we miss.

    Psalms 27:1-2

1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

    Psalms 35:4

"Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt."

Finally, Saul of Tarsus came confronted by the reality of Calvary.

    Acts 22:8

"And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest."

Why did Jesus never use chapter and verses in his quoting of bible passages ? It obviously was not needed . The Jews knew the law or at least should have .

Is chapter and verses used in modern bibles an attempt to brake down the word of God by making it harder for the Spirit to flow in thought ?It Could be . When men are involved often it is not for the better .

I do like chapter and verses for finding where it is written , saves time that way . But the Spirit of God does not need them to form thoughts .

We are told that in revelation not to rehearse what we will say , the Spirit will give us the words .

    Good Morning,

I've been reading in Romans and having read up to chapter 9 I would be interested in what others can tell me about verses 22-24 where it says:

What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only but also of the Gentiles?"

Particularly, I am wondering what is meant by "vessels of wrath" God prepared versus "vessels of mercy" God prepared.

Thank you in advance for your input. I've been thinking on this since last night. So, I guess it is good for me to share my query on here.

First when God said "US" who are the us, we plural?

He was not talking to the serpent (devil) or Adam and Eve

Did God tell Eve not to eat or just Adam?

Why did Adam take so long, even after God appeared to decide to call her Eve? Why did God "Curse" Adam and Eve and say that children would be a punishment along with the other punishment, like telling her she would always want Adam etc.? When we also read he said go forth and replenish the earth. When replenish means (to make full or complete again, as by supplying what is lacking, used up,) Can we assume that there were people there before and now there is no one so God made Adam and Eve Again to re stock earth?

How did God make the skins from animals for them and why? I know they were naked but why would he care.

When God was saying about cursing their seed was he talking to Adam and Eve or Eve and the Devil?

What Do the Scriptures Really Say About the Rapture?

To get an understanding that comes from God's Word and not from our own expectations of God's plan, we need to see what each scriptural reference is really talking about. We also need to establish what events take place for each verse and when they occur.

Let's start with the favorite verse quoted to support the rapture of the church at the start of the tribulation.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words"

    ( I Thessalonians 4:16-18, KJV).

    Sequence of Events:

    1. The Lord descends.

    2. A shout, voice, trump.

    3. The dead rise.

    4. The living caught up.

Timing: Nothing specifies a particular time for these events. In this verse we found nothing conclusive to be used to identify the specific time when the rapture might occur except that it follows the Lord's descent from heaven and the sounding of the trumpet of God. Let's take a look at another very popular verse about the rapture of the church:

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we

shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed"

    ( I Corinthians 15:51,52, KJV).

    Sequence of Events:

    1. The trumpet sounds.

    2. The dead rise.

    3. The living changed.

Timing: Begins with the "last trump". The trump identified as the "last trump" seems to be the cause of these events. This appears to indicate that other trumpets will sound before this one, but none after it. Could this be the final (seventh) trumpet

found in Revelation? If so, that would put it at or near the end of the tribulation.

When a woman is married and has a son who needs her at all times, should she take care of all the elderly in her family also? She took care of her Elder daddy until death. She is getting older and in need of care herself. What does a person do when it starts affecting a woman's marriage? I have always thought we are to care for our family and do all we can for them. This woman's health isn't as good as it was. What does God expect of us? In this situation?

  • The Gift of Aging - 1 year ago
The Holy Spirit undertook your education. He first has to get all the "idols" out of our home. It's not talked about much ( Acts 19:19), but it's the Holy Spirit of God, who drives away the demonic and shelters the new birth of a believer.

God is so very loving towards us. He hears every pitiful little cry of our hearts. He did for me. All I knew was that Abba, my Father was always nearby. I was so needy. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Now, in my old age, I still need that constant exchange of love.

Nothing the world has to offer, can satisfy the thirsty soul. When you reach a certain age (in Christ), you stop looking backwards and look forward more and more. It's very freeing.

    Psalm 42:1 (HNV)

As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul after you, God.

    [ Isaiah 41:9-10, 18, 20] John 4:14

These aren't just lifeless scriptures on a page. They are life giving to our souls. Lifting the spirit within us. Jesus is coming back for us.

Hebrews 11:13 - These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were PERSUADED of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Sometimes being called aliens to this world. We are awaiting our redemption. Rejoice. We will see Jesus! Hallelujah to the Lord.

Has anyone seen the the filth and blasphemy that is being said about banning the Holy Bible in a story from the NYTIMES?

That we don't need the Lord Jesus in our lives? How dare YOU!!! WHO made the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk, made man's mouth to speak??? Not you, you hypocrites!!!! We are all sinners, be Christian, Jew, Muslim or any other religion in the eyes of the Lord!! The Lord does not create war or violence- MAN DOES!! How would there be a Passover in these times or any other If the Hebrews did'nt do what God said- HEBREWS 11:28 Through the faith God kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest He that destroyed the firstborn of Egypt should touch them!!! If it wasn't God keeping you safe , there would'nt be a Passover or a Sabbath or an Easter!!! God would have never had given up HIS only SON to die on the tree to save us for all our sins, be an advocate between and God!! Give God the praise, glory, and honor that HE well deserves!!! What happened to the 1st 5 books of Moses, have you forgotten the written word! the ONLY TRUTH in this world! Isaiah, written 700 years before Christ was born, chapter 9- For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders: Have you forgotten this- I guess you have!! His name shall be the Prince of Peace, Mighty Counselor, the Everlasting Father!!

Genesis 2:7- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed the breath

of life into his nostrils and man became a Living Soul!!!

Did you really believe you are made of carbon or from the big bang, nonsense!!

Heaven is HIS throne and the earth is HIS footstool!!

Watch and be ready all who believe on the Only name in Heaven and Earth, JESUS CHRIST KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS!!!e

HE will come as a thief in the night, be sober minded, praying in all prayer and supplications making them known to GOD!!!!

I pray- May the LORD JESUS CHRIST have mercy on your souls, in HIS name I pray- AMEN!!!

ARE THERE PROPHECIES ABOUT CREATION BECOMING ONE WITH GOD

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not MOSES and the PROPHETS, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him (Paul) a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the KINGDOM OF GOD, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of THE LAW OF MOSES, and out of THE PROPHETS, from morning till evening.

Acts 28:24 And some BELIEVED the things that were spoken and some BELIEVED NOT.

    Prophecy spoken by Daniel.

Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, BROKEN TO PIECES together, and become like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors, and the wind carried them away, and no place was found for them: and THE STONE (CHRIST) that smote the IMAGE became a GREAT MOUNTAIN, AND FILLED THE WHOLE EARTH.

Psalms 2:8 Ask of me and I will GIVE THEE the heathen for thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psalms 2:9 Thou shall BREAK THEM with a rod of iron, thou shall DASH THEM IN PIECES as a potter's vessel.

Psalms 22:27 ALL the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Psalms 22:29 .....and all they that go down to the dust shall bow before thee ....

    God Bless You this PASSOVER.
