  • Brianna Vs. 1 on Colossians 4
This applies to anyone with a position of power over another. This could be a supervisor, policemen, governments. They often think they are the law of the land. That they don't answer to anyone. However, if someone in power is unjust, then their Master God will hold them accountable. They will be held accountable for how they treat those beneath them.
  • Brianna vs. 23 on Colossians 2
Insightful! Some religions teach that you must suffer or hurt your body in order to be pleasing to God, this scripture helps us to reason. It is through an accurate knowledge of God's word that our body can be brought into subject. God's word touches our heart and motivates change. We can fast, mark, deny, ourselves but that may not be necessary. Allow God's word to motivate change, not pain.
  • James Peter Fisher on Exodus 20
The ten commandments is without a doubt the word of god that became flesh and dwelt among us our perfect righteoussness
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Exodus 20
The ten commandments was a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. Moses walked around with the law of death the ten commandments. Jesus walked around with a new law, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Galations 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster
  • Stanjett on Exodus 20
If I was a school master, I would give you a grade of A
  • RODNEY BASCOMBE on Daniel 9
    Very powerful scripture
I personally love Peter's humility in explaining to others why he did what he did with the Gentiles. Barnabas was his brothers keeper. Acts 11 also shows that God does not count our sins against us , he love us irrespective of who we are and where we are. just accepting Christ as our Saviour is the access card we need for eternal life. God be praise
  • Deborah on Luke 24
LUKE 24 is a beautiful chapter...can you imagine having CHRIST appear to you, sit, eat and talk with you! HOW AMAZING THAT WOULD BE!!! What amazes me also is how they had the old testament to teach them about Christ and yet they still didn't know Him. Also how HE had spent time with them and worked miracles in front of them and they still didn't understand Him nor recognize Him when they saw HIM.
  • Museum on John 12
He that sees me sees him that sent me, so that there is no space between God and Jesus
  • Ludie smith on Nehemiah 9
This chapter spells out the certain history of God's people. Knowing the previous books of history of God's people, I can see it in short review in this 9th chapter.
  • Abimbola on Psalms 4
personally it is a psalm that open your heart to submission to God . when he said answer me when I call to you , this is a point when you have tried all and nothing seem working in a solemly voice that came out ,. there is Another verse that many people asking who wil show us better times at a point when you have been written off that nothing good wil come out of psm 4 is a really powerfull pslm
  • Brianna Vs. 17,18 on Psalms 103
Our God is merciful and good. While he does provide for the righteous and unrighteous, the scriptures tells us how he pours himself out for those who fear him. To those who obey his commandments and are counted as God's children. This is a good reminder, that we should examine ourselves and make sure we are doing Jehovah God's will. Then we can experience the FULL blessings from God.
  • Brianna on Psalms 100
Many people wonder why they should serve the true God, Jehovah Yahweh . I think these 5 verses sums it up nicely. Vs. 2 implores us to know our God . The whole chapter encourages us to worship him and find joy in him. Why? Vs. 2 states a plain answer: He created us. Then vs.5 gives this reason: He is Good, Loyal, Loving, and Faithful Forever. Doesn't that draw you closer to our God!?!?
  • Joseph on Psalms 100
to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is to accept the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made Calvary to pay for our sin. to accept Jesus Christ is to have elevating life John 11:25-26 . to not accept Him is Death.
  • Ann on Ephesians 1
Scripture says God is male, "Father Son Holy Spirit. The 3 are one. When God revealed himself to me I saw the face of Jesus every time I closed my eyes for 2 years. I can assure you God is male. Jesus said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father also." Jesus also referred to the Holy Spirit as 'He'. God has created female beings so he understand both male and female, but he is not a woman.
  • Karen on Genesis 2
i really love the word of God it opens eye.. and i wonder why lesbians and gays marry it is well indicated genesis 2:23, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh because she was taken out of a man.. and not vice versa lets preach the gospel and pray that GOD opens their eyes.
  • Sunrise on 1 Peter 4
To die mean to sieze from all pleasurable desire, and to suffer mean to endure excruciating pain even when u go through such not because it is by evil u do but for sake of one u love with all your heart and ready to lay all for such a one as christ did for us.
  • Ann on Romans 8
This chapter is saying that if Christ lives in us he will do the work in us that needs doing so that we are slowly changed more and more into Christs image. It is through choosing to let go and ask God to change us that Gods spirit works in us. It is not an act of works. We are reborn by Gods Spirit.God says that as we experience life success failures nothing will separate us from his love.
  • Melvin A Fike
Why would Jesus sometimes tell those whom He healed "tell no man"?
  • Melki
When bible prophecies are being fulfilled, Yahuwah does not want the unrighteous to know. During that time, Yahushua did not want the whole of Israel to know that the Messiah is here until all he came to do has been done.
  • Adam
Maybe at that time Jesus wanted to help people but didn't want the miracles to drown out his message of salvation? Matthew 6:3-4. Perhaps humility too.
  • Lauren
Melvin - Some say it was political reasons. If certain Jews specifically the Zealots had strong reason to assume their Messiah was there, they would cause a revolt against the Romans to overthrow them, which would cause a bad name for Jesus since they are misinterpreting the prophecy about the Messiah subduing their enemies. It wasn't Jesus's time yet to stop the heathen, He had to suffer first.
  • Dave on Proverbs 3
proverbs chapter 3 is a chapter that helps me gain insight into the word of God .Whenever i needwisdom, or understanding i learn to trust in the Lord rather than leaning on my own understanding. I have learned to acknowledge God instead of myself knowing that he is the one who will direct my path and that i can know i wont be disappointed as long as i trust him and not myself. And im trusting him

  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13
verse 30, And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. Note: on this day Jesus mind remains on the Saving-Process GOD is about to establish through The-Blood-of-Jesus, thereby we, unsaved humans, can enter The-Kingdom-of-GOD.
  • Emily
I need someone to explain the verse Mark chapter 4 from verse 1. I am not an everyday bible reader but always when I auto choose to read a verse the one mentioned above always pops up. Can someone please explain what does it mean ?
  • Melki
This is not an answer to your question. IF you didn't know, Yahuwah commanded us to meditate on the book of the law DAY and NIGHT. You have to start doing that. SHALOM.
  • Joseph
Jesus is explaining how people react to the word of God. some does not accept it at all some accept it but not in there heart not rooted and when they are tested they cant stand firm, those who because of fame and fortune cant produce the simplicity of the Word that is Jesus Christ. and last the true believer who has taken up his cross and followed Jesus Christ. Luke 9:23 God Bless
  • Gerry Jones
Jesus first taught on the land by the seaside Because there were so many people who came to hear Jesus, He stepped into a ship on the water and taught from there. Assuming that the ship sat much higher, Jesus could be heard by the many, many people who gathered on land. Perhaps you are opening to this verse because Jesus wants you to go out and teach as He did. May God Bless You!
