  • JP on 1 John 3
Verses 4,8 and 9 those words commit and committeth (means to practice or purposely sin without a second thought with no remorse) a true Christian cannot do this. a Christian may fall into sin, but we are committed to sin.
  • JP on 1 John 5
Tricia, this sin unto death John is talking about a physical death not a spiritual death, when a Christian that has a particular sin that he or she refuses to repent of and rather die then repent of that particular sin. We cannot loose our salvation but God could take us home early.
  • JP on Genesis 5
Alex, I never stated that Christ came from any mans seed or the biological seed of man.
  • Ivy Johnson on Matthew 28
Mat. 28:1-6: Sepulchar door opened by the Earthquake: was for the women, etc. to enter: Our Lord had long gone already? He is the DOOR: He did/does not need door to enter or exit a Building? He just go through the wall! That’s the kind of BODY He has? GLORIFIED BODY! Can you imagine that His Saints(US), will have the same BODY? Yes we all will? We will just think of somewhere: and be there: AMEN!

  • George Owusu on Hebrews 13
Hebrews 13:8 Means also that what he did during his time on earth as messiah, he is doing the same thing now and he will continue to do that forever, he healed people during his time, he is still healing people now and he will continue to heal forever. All the good things he did to mankind, he is still doing it now, so as believers we shouldn't stop calling his name to help as. Amen.
  • JP on Isaiah 1
Are we (USA) exempt from God's judgement? Are we (USA churches) better then Israel?
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword
  • Patty Tozi on Psalms 127
My heart goes out to my God. I choose His Way- before my way. Help me Lord reach for your Light of strength when l am low in my energy. Help me see others that you put in front of me to help. Keep close to me in times of troubles-- for this world is Evil to Your People. I CALL ON YOU, O GOD, FOR YOU WILL ANSWER ME GIVE EAR TO ME AND HEAR MY PRAYER. PSALMS 17:6
  • Vanessa on Psalms 34
He is glorious, he is the I am, in him I do trust, don't worry about the vain, keep your mouth from speaking ill , when you speak the word let be his word and his alone, he mighty and loving, he can move the mountains. He is the creator, he knew us all before we were born. I will stay under his wings, he is my refuge and fortress, Hallelujah!
  • Vanessa on Mark 2
Tonya, most scholars believe they were not brothers , but their fathers had the same name, I don't think anyone is really sure
  • Okonda Simon on 2 Samuel 9
This was a show of gratitute from David to his friend Jonathan. Jonathan held his trust to David even to the extend of openly jeopardising both his life and position as the heir as next king to Israel. Even long after death of Jonathan, David could be trusted even in death!
God's favor upon men tend to contradict human good will explanations.
  • Keaton prins on 1 Thessalonians 5
bible is a 100% library of history
  • Andy on Jude 1
Jude is a very powerful and sobering Epistle. This epistle reminds us to STRIVE to enter in at the Narrow Gate, which is Jesus Christ and His Salvation. Many will attempt to do so, and will be unable. Why? They gave themselves over to their sins, and the lustful ways of the flesh. "Let everyone that names the Name of Christ DEPART from iniquity." (2nd Timothy 2:19). Beware of false teachers!
  • Stephen Botts on Psalms 127
    Praise the Lord!
  • Richard j Castillo on Matthew 22
I learn so much from these commentaries, I thank the lord daily and daily ask for forgiveness and to live a better life for Christ, Because we all will come under scrutiny and if found wanting will be cast into the lake of fire. Oh that people realize this and I pray that I can bring those around me to Christ, can you imagine waking up one day in front of the Lord and to be found guilty?
  • Call me big papa :-p on Revelation 22
Im just glad to say that I am saved and I am going to heaven. God says all it takes is the faith of mustard seed. To believe in him.
  • Walter Sparks on Revelation 22
God says :faith as a mustard seed, not the size of a mustard seed. We must grow into something great.
  • Jdog on Genesis 1
Moses is one of the few people god had that followed him. he led Gods people through the wilderness.
  • Patty Tozi on Psalms 127

  • Marlo on Luke 3
Can someone clear up the genealogical reckoning in verse 36 (Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem...) From Genesis 10:22 (22 The sons of Shem were Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. 24 And soothly Arphaxad begat Salah, of whom Eber was born.). Here in Luke there is an extra lineage given between Salah and Arphaxad.
  • Sister Gibson COC on Romans 8
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angles, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things Present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love or God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Fight on my soul be on thy guard, ten thousand foes arise, the hosts of sin are pressing hard to draw me from the skies.
  • Stephen Botts on Psalms 127

  • JP on Revelation 3
Hello Venus, the 7 churches where located north of Israel in Asia in bible times and these church messages that Jesus told John still applies to us born again believers today. Sacrifices are when we deny our will and give our time and efforts to further the kingdom of God. Pictures of Jesus and crucifixes are not to be in anyway worshiped or pray to, because this is not in the Word of God.
  • Stanley on Revelation 3
