When I first started reading the bible I read a Good news bible my reading skills where very poor . It's a bible for people learning English . I do not read it or any other book but KJV now . You must Ask in prayer for understanding not matter which bible you read . KJV is most accurate and a dictionary is a good idea to read it with .

Long ago an uneducated lady asked the Lord to understand the bible so she could read it her self since she did not believe the minister . And yes she was able to read a KJV with understanding, so keep at it .

Meditate on the word rather than reading it like a novel .

That is reading it slowly and allowing many thoughts to come to you that reading it fast you would miss , repeat often until you get it or put it on the shelf and maybe another verse will clarify it to you later . Learning takes time and effort .

But your eternity depends on it . God Bless you as you seek the truth .

The Holy Ghost is Holy and was sent by Jesus who is Holy, after he rose from the dead after Calvary, to comfort and teach the repentant believer that looked up, how to be like Jesus while remaining in this world with love in their heart foremost for God who is Holy and also for their neighbor as an example of the Holiness of God present with mankind in His Body of believers. Finally the Gospel Story from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is about Love and Holiness and it's presentation as a non- resistant Lamb makes us always, unworthy.
  • Joshua on Ecclesiastes 11:9
When we read the whole chapter, we see the context and truth. Look at the very next verse: "Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: FOR CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH ARE VANITY." This is great example of how foolish it is to take a single verse out of context to mean anything we want. We do not have the Spirit of Christ if we do that.

Look what God tells us when we read the final 2 verses of Ecclesiastes - He literally tells us our ENTIRE duty as men and women.

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

How easy it is to miss the truth when we take a single verse out of context to mean whatever we want.

John 13 v 5 Jesus telling them they needed to have their feet washed but they had already been water baptised,Jesus knew that they all had been water baptised but he warns them of another baptism more important then water baptism If i wash thee not you will have no part with me. just think of that he tells his own disciples if i wash thee Not you will have no part with me this speaks volumes of another baptism of the Spirit H.G baptism which was the Word that heavenly seed that wd form Christ in them, abide in me and i in you, this H.G BAPTISM WD form Christ in us as a Child, when he said that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats the H.G. THAT HEAVENLY CHILD that results from his seed the living word, Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the Word of God, They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin he has a seed to sow in humanity ya remember he said the field was the world where that good seed will be sown,HE IS NOT GONNA CULL ANYBODY .remember when he fed the multitudes he fed everybody, the good the bad the UGLY THE world GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD ETC. if i belifted up i will draw ALL men unto me,even as Moses lifted up a serpent in the wilderness even so must the son of man be lifted up.Its our hearts that needs to be washed not our feet,Its that H.G BAPTISM that washes our hearts resulting of a birth of Christ in us thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN,MANKIND NEEDS TO BIRTH CHRIST IN HIS HEART, thats the essence of H.G. baptism,iTS A SEED THAT IS GONA FORM CHRIST IN US VIA A BIRTH,conception comes by hearing and understanding ,Remember when Pharoahs daughter came to wash she found a Child hid in the brushes, when we come to wash via repentence and hearing we will find a child in the Water of the Word. There is a child hid in the waters of salvation which is H.G baptism. She brought forth a man child that will Rule ALL nations which is the H.G.Whosoever receives one such Child in my name receives me the Child is the H.G. th plumline

Read all of Genesis 24. Abraham wanted to see Isaac happily married before he died. He sends his servant to go find a wife for him. It's a really good story. Ends good. With a lot of prayer and the Lords help, you'll find the right one.

I have a friend who has the same problem, but he thinks she'll show up in a biker bar and be a knockout. :/

So I tell him he's hunting in the wrong forest. A quality woman is not in a bar. We disagree. Not every gal looks like a tv model.

I solidly believe in dating for a long enough time....past the good behavior period. No hanky panky, ok. God can't help if your mind is in a dark place. "Be Isaac."

Then God willing he'll send a servant to bring her in range. Get your FAITH involved.

Look for a place (forest) where nice single women hang out. Open your eyes & see where they are. Coffee shops, bookstores, car wash, Church single groups, hike and bike trails, athletic stores. Some may not be beautiful, but they like what you like. I do not believe in polar opposites.

Lastly, date. How do they present themselves? Plastic, real, is the car clean,

Worldly, clean house, bills stacked up, food in the fridge, short-temper in traffic. Have real expectations. You plan dates so you can observe real life. Be compatible spiritually.

God tells us not to date unbelievers. Pray lots after you read that Bible Chapter.

I'll agree in prayer that you will move from desperation into expectation like Isaac. He was a happy man till death. It can happen.

    Isaiah 32:5-6

The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

My comments on water baptism, look beyond water baptism as in Acts 10 when the Lord rebuked Peter 3 times with that sheet with all the unclean Animals which were symbolic of the Church that was made clean by the blood of Gods lamb not water baptism that Peter was commanding. 3 times Jesus said John baptised you with water but i will baptise you with the H.G. and fire. That sheet was knit at the 4 corners with the 4 gospels the Cross, There is no other blood that can make us white as snow other then the blood of Jesus. Thats y the lord was so upset with peter he was making the blood of the lamb the CROSS insufficient impling they still needed water baptism, thats when the Lord rebuked Peter telling him what i have made clean do not call common or unclean peter was impling that the cross was insufficient to make them clean After that the lord had baptised them with the h.g. that resulted from the cross the blood here comes peter commanding water baptism impling what jesus did at the Cross was insufficient. When God rebuked Peter about the blood was all that was needed to make them clean. To imply we needed water baptism was to make the blood of no effect as said Paul.Once ya understand the enormity of the blood ( Calvary ) The lamb of God you will no more mention water baptism for the remission of sins its like a slap in the face of God. All the unclean animals in that sheet was the church that was made clean by the blood of the lamb not water baptism that peter was commanding Peter no more commands water BAPTISM after Acts 10 Even in th O.T. without the shedding of blood no remission of sins.Ya make the cross(his blood) of No effect when ya command water baptism for the remission of sins.gbu no offence just truth Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world .What i have made clean do NOT CALL COMMON OF UNCLEAN thats what Peter was doing by commanding water baptism, impling the Cross was insufficient, they stilll needed water baptism behold lamb of God

The question of many believers may be: Is this Body of believers visible? I believe the answer is yes, it will likely be found where there a great love of the brethren, possibly including the Holy Kiss, feet washing and for the sake of the Body and the correction of an erring member (by love and for the purpose of restoration) of the Body, discipline under the guidance of the epistles.

  • Fred Scanlan on Romans 12:8
Paul, explains the spiritual body of Christ. A functioning body, like our own personal physical bodies. Yet too see, within this body there are different children with different gifts! What is profound is that when we understand these truths , the renewing of the mind Paul speaks of is less confrontational, allowing the spirit in each of us to have more significance in the development of our whole person!(sanctification-conversion) Eye hath not seen or ear heard neither entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for them that love Him. Our sin is the dimension in man's soul that prevents him from moving mountains!
  • Onyekachukwu Ogechi Levinus Alaka on Psalms 86:11
Teach me thy way, O LORD. Instruct me thus at all times, let me live in thy school; but teach me now especially since I am in trouble and perplexity. Be pleased to shew me the way which thy wisdom and mercy have prepared for my escape; behold I lay aside all wilfulness, and only desire to be informed as to thy holy and gracious mind. Not my way give me, but thy way teach me, I would follow thee and not be wilful.I will walk in thy truth. When taught I will practise what I know, truth shall not be a mere doctrine or sentiment to me, but a matter of daily life. The true servant of God regulates his walk by his master's will, and hence he never walks deceitfully, for God's way is ever truth. Providence has a way for us, and it is our wisdom to keep in it. We must not be as the bullock which needs to be driven and urged forward because it likes not the road, but be as men who voluntarily go where their trusted friend and helper appoints their path.Unite my heart to fear thy name. Having taught me one way, give me one heart to walk therein, for too often I feel a heart and a heart, two natures contending, two principles struggling for sovereignty. Our minds are apt to be divided between a variety of objects, like trickling streamlets which waste their force in a hundred runnels; our great desire should be to have all our life floods poured into one channel and to have that channel directed towards the Lord alone. A man of divided heart is weak, the man of one object is the man. God who created the bands of our nature can draw them together, tighten, strengthen, and fasten them, and so braced and inwardly knit by his uniting grace, we shall be powerful for good, but not otherwise. To fear God is both the beginning, the growth, and the maturity of wisdom, therefore should we be undividedly given up to it, heart, and soul.

As a member of the Body of Jesus Christ, Living within this Holy Place there is freedom, a lack of condemnation, love, peace and joy. Members of the body one man and one woman can be married and joined as one. A home. Within this home in the order of God there are liberties. A man and wife in the Lord can please themselves sexually without fear as long as there is no outside influence on their minds. Outside of this Holy Body is lusts and all kinds of pride. One part of the membership of this Holy Body is to guard against outside influences coming within the Body. This starts in a husband's and wife's life and together in their home. They can teach their children to listen to the call to salvation in the Lord while protecting them from outside influences. This can be in the smallest details such as language including cover words. Children will learn from their parents how to back up and say in one's heart they are sorry that they did such in such like raising a voice for example. The Christian home within the Body should be peaceful, separated, holy, undefiled just like the Body which is part of Jesus.

The speed of moving images in the modern age is unholy and needs to be considered in all things. Fast moving images of the things of man find their way into our minds and hearts and dull the vision of Holy lives. If we are honest we know this is happening and we want deliverance but there is deliverance in self denial of watching such images of mankind.

Within the Spirit led life of a husband and wife and home there is direction for each matter encountered, therefore hope.

The Body is a place of rest and hope. It is a gathering of Saints, a washing of Saints, a calling for Saints and this gathering, this Holy Body knows no boundaries no borders no particular race or culture, it only knows Saints that have been once delivered from the bondage of sin outside of this Body.

    :)

  • Richard on Isaiah 6
How are we to take the old testament and apply it to our lives, was it written directly to Israel if so how are we to take hold of it?
  • Andy G van den Berg on 2 Kings 19
    On 2 KINGS 19:10

The Word of God is God (John 1:1) and not for any private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20). If it records in Revelation 12:9 that this whole world has been deceived, it did not speak of a particular country, group of people, person or religion, it meant the whole world.

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom 2 Cor. 11:13-15) this whole world has been deceived and what mankind must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting), is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and there seems to be a great misconception what the true 'spiritual' meaning of the word is. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

Only through Repentance will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters (Romans 8:15,23; 2 Corinthians 6:18; Galatians 4:5; Ephesians 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1) and reveal to you how this whole world has been deceived (Revelation 12:9) and overcome this world (1 John 5:4).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ (Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Galatians 1:16; Ephesians 3:3,5; Revelation 1:1). It should be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

The comments by Alex about y Jesus was water baptised, it was not for sin,as Jesus had no sin but as the sacrficial dove he wd have to be washed by running water, the Jordan was running water and John was of the tribe of Levi ,thats y the dove lit on Jesus marking him as our sacrficial dove that wd have to be killed and his blood sprinkled on the living bird which is the Church,Turtle doves imply lovers as Christ and the Church are lovers,Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave his life for it. Jesus was the sacrificial dove thats y the dove descened on Jesus the H.G. was trying to teach them the law of Moses,Jesus had no sin but as the sacrficial dove he had to be washed by running water ( the JORDAN ) was running water. In song of Solomon the 2 lovers are Christ and the Church but they refer to each other as have Doves eyes. The Church has a leprosy spritually speaking,Thats y he said you are made clean by the word i have spoken unto you. While the King sits at his table my spicknard sends for a sweet smell, they were all in the house of simon the leper when Jesus spoke of forgivness for all of them,he was gonna forgive all their dept their sins etc.Thats y the Dove descened on Jesus he was the bridegroom ( the dove that wd have to be killed for the living bird, the Church ) Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and GAVE HIS LIFE FOR IT, This is y Jesus had to be baptised ( washed ) as the other disciples,But only he wd have to die for the sins of the CHURCH THE World. But we don't need to be water baptised . our baptism is only for a birth, H.G. BAPTISM results in a birth, there is a child in H.G. BAPTISM,John baptised you with water but i will baptise you with the H.G and fire, Absolutly nothing can be added to the cross ,its the greatest event ever to happen to this planet we cannot add anything to the cross his blood, in so doing it wd be a slap in the face of God and the LAMB OF GOD,thats y God told peter what i have made clean
  • Lesley on Exodus 31
I had struggled with this one Commandment for several years and have studied into this subject deeply. Ann is correct in referring to Sunday worship as being pagan. I have listened also to many Scholars / Professors debating this subject and it is believed that Satan will trap the majority of people into 'wondering after the beast' (which is symbolic in that we will all follow and give praise to Satan rather than Jesus Christ, by worshiping on the Sunday, and we will not realize what is happening until it is too late. The 7th day Sabbath is Saturday which was sanctified Holy by God. This is the true 4th Commandment and the only Commandment that is emphasized with the word REMEMBER to keep my Sabbath Holy - no other days in the 10 Commandments except Saturday, were sanctified as Holy, and it does not matter that the calendar may have changed over the years, it is the fact that Saturday is important. Also it is important to remember that if one Conmandments is broken, it is like breaking all Commandments. Also God refers to the 'children of Israel' as all brethren who have 'overcome' and been baptized into, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Hope this helps.

"Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." (Psalms 86:11)

NOTE to self( and for others).:

We should always ask God for guidance, help, and direction so we wont be lost in this world. And we should ask God to help us fear him, but the fear of God is not fear that you are scared of him like you are scared of bad things, the fear of the Lord is the fear that of knowing that he is very powerful, and can do anything. is doing what he sends us o do because he is very powerful, so he doesn't get so he doesn't destroy us for not obeying hi, or punish us. But the lord always has mercy on everybody. And with the bad ones, and he forgives and has patience with them for a long time. So we need t always go in the path of the truth, and ask the Lord for guidance.

I'm praying for the House Reps to do what the public is writing & emailing for: Nancy Pelosi to step down. Her previous and present association to OBAMA is telling and unmasked at this point. Her hate is very evident.

What did Democrats do when last week, Singing was banned in all Churches?

Did they protest that only 30% can attend their church?

Are they not currently going after tax exempt status of Churches?

Are they not planning to make all schools and college to have co-ed bathrooms? So little girls may have an adult male in the next stall?

Dormitories on campus to be co-ed; so that women who may have been abused or raped previously,

have a transgender male as a roommate?

I am for Choice in education! My tax dollars should be withdrawn from colleges and given to parents so their kids can live off-campus; and enjoy privacy and modesty; and get an education.

I don't think anyone should count on God to not judge this nation for its loose morals, inability to enact laws that make sense: but proceed full steam to make this Nation a object of jokes and disrespected World Wide. Now, we are like every other nation!

Just the pure amount of legislation against Churches is nothing to be proud of. We as a nation have become Rome. It will burn and be no more. That's how I know God is judging us; that includes those who "govern" us.

I have visions. I am to pray and intercede for this nation. I can warn. I know there are many others who do this too. The US can't live under the radar anymore. Prophesy will push forward. United States is called "Islands of the Sea." What the Bible says, is what the US will do. You can't stop it.

The violence is not going to stop. It is a sign of the times.

Get your families in Jesus now. There's too many confirmations. Be ready to go. Keep looking for His appearing. Stop sinning and watch for Jesus.

Let's quit playing "game of Thrones" and choose life; choose Jesus before it's too late. You too.
  • PAUL the Apostle of Jesus Christ - in Reply on Genesis 1:14
What does 2 Corinthians 5:8 mean?

This is a poignant, soul-baring moment from the apostle Paul. He is not suicidal, but he is honest about his deepest desires. He would rather be with the Lord than in his mortal, burdened, groaning, dying body. For the first time in this chapter, he describes being in his future, eternal body with Christ as being "at home." He is utterly convinced that it is where he is headed. Heaven is where he is meant to be forever. Paul's faith that the glory of his eternal life will far outweigh and outlast the suffering of earthly life makes him want that life more than this one. Of course it does. How could it not?

That same faith, though, gives him courage. Knowing his eternal fate is secure gives him fearlessness to keep going in this life. It emboldens Paul to stay on the path God has called him to. He is not actively seeking death; he is simply ready to go whenever God calls him home. Until then, he will keep working at what God has given him to do in the here and now.

Consider how many times Paul was beaten up, jailed, threatened with death; in shipwrecks, no donkey; walking all over the Gentile nations. Never having enough money to help others he met on his travels.

He had a mouth but I truly admire him.

My take on that is, that God took a rib bone out of his side: not out of his head so he could be over Eve; not out of the hip so Eve would be below Adam. They were a perfect pair. God even performed the first marriage. Eve was to be Adams helper.

Eve was by herself when Satan was tempting her. She knew they were not to touch that Trees Fruit. How long was Adam gone? Why didn't he say: we're naming geckos today, why don't you come along and HELP me with that? He kissed her goodbye and left her alone.

He wasn't over her head.....but He was Head of the Household. If you take off and are gone all day, you might get home and see 7 boxes of brand new shoes! :/

I don't think it wasn't a matter of not having a marriage counseling shop next door. It was simply not paying attention to or forgetting to esteem others....as important as yourself. Decisions are best made together.

Satan studies everything we do. He notes our habits. Where we go, what we do. What we look at on our computers or iPhones. He maps our weak spots. We underestimate his intention to DESTROY us and our relationship to Jesus. He hates Jesus because Jesus stepped on satans head. Genesis 3:15

    So sorry :)

    People's Bible Notes for 1 Corinthians 6:13

    Commentary:

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats. Self-indulgence was also excused, because food and the stomach were made for each other. But these are both perishable.

Moreover, if "the belly was made for meats",

the body [is] not for fornication. It was not made for this, but for a nobler purpose--for the Lord. Hence, sensuality cannot be thus justified.

What happens in a marriage is between the couple.

For Singles: Paul said it's better to marry than Burn. 1 Corinthians 7

Everybody else who is unmarried, like me, have the time to be involved in ministry of some kind or another. It doesn't have to always be through a Church. There are many civic organizations, school activities outside. You can google around and see what volunteer activities are going on despite the pandemic scare.

You'd have to take a short course for it, but suicide prevention centers still need volunteers.

We're all gifted in many ways.

It'd be a good time to get your feet shod for taking the gospel of peace. We all know enough about Jesus to tell someone else how to be saved. Think about it :)

Water baptism isn't a issue really. if they receive Jesus; you can pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit on the front porch.

The worst that might happen is they'll say "I have something on the stove", and they don't come back. It's just simply doing what Jesus and his disciples did. Not complicated at all.

It was God who created man...male and female He created them. It was the LORD God who later joined man to a physical body (Eve). The sin committed in Eden wasn't only the learning right from wrong but it was Eve convincing Adam that it was the right thing to do. The physical body is not supposed to command the divine self. The physical body was given as a help mate so the divine nature of man could interact with the world. Our divine nature should command our every thought, our every action, our every touch.
  • Cecil Gary on Revelation 17
I have to agree with Thelma Parker that Jerusalem is MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS. Jerusalem will be the seat of the Anti-christs government. Much of Revelation speaks of the last 3 1/2 years of the Anti-christ's seven year seven year covenant and the second coming of Jesus. THE GREAT CITY or THAT GREAT CITY is the key to understand who MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS is. THE GREAT CITY or THAT GREAT CITY is mentioned 11 times in the Book of Revelation: Revelation 11:13, Revelation 11:8, Revelation 14:8, Revelation 16:19, Revelation 17:18, Revelation 18:10, Revelation 18:16, Revelation 18:18, Revelation 18:19, Revelation 18:21, Revelation 21:10.These verses can only be speaking of one GREAT CITY. Revelation 11:8 says it is where our Lord was crucified. This is definitely Jerusalem. Revelation 18:21 calls Babylon THAT GREAT CITY. In Revelation 21:10, John is shown THAT GREAT CITY, the holy Jerusalem, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. Read all 11 verses listed above to see what happens to Jerusalem known as Babylon, the seat of the Anti-christ's government.
