Thank you. That happened to me 35 years ago, as a new Christian. The Lord helped me, every step I took. All I knew, was to run to the Cross.

The Devil is jealous because the Lord has covered us completely with love, mercy and Grace.

1 John 4:4 - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

This is why it's sooooo important to read the whole Bible , again and again and again , you can't remember something if you haven't read it in the first place .

    Dear Spencer

I will not go through verses again since it seems me and you interpret them in a different way. OK we agree that the Israeletes will be saved sometime in the future. If I understood right you take prophesies from the OT about a kingdom of Israel with king Jesus as literal ( I believe this Israel is the spiritual Israel, the church). Assume this is right. So sometime later on, Jesus will arrive back and rule on earth with His people, the Israeletes. When is this going to happen? Is it before antichrist comes and rules on earth? In that case antichrist and his people that will come will beat (?) Jesus and His people?.If Jesus'arrival is after antichrist then we talk about the fight of Armageddon? But in Revelation John tell us that those beheaded by antichrist will sit on thrones and rule with Jesus, not Israel? Question. When is it that Israel with Jesus rule on earth?

About Judas now. Was he saved? I understand some christians in the US think he wasn't saved. OK lets make a research. Was he baptised? Was any of the apostles baptised? The Scriptures don't mention that but we read that apostles baptised in water other people. See John 4:2. Question. Can somebody baptise people without him been buptised? No. Can somebody been baptized and not be born again? The answer is still no. Next, Judas was sent with the other apostles to preach repentance and salvation to people and perform miracles. Preach salvation without him being saved? Does it make sense? So Judas was born again, got baptised in water, send by Jesus to preach repentance and salvation and perform miracles. I think any objection about Judas been a good apostle is not accepted. So what happened to him? The same that Paul feared he may happen to him if he was not careful how he walked. 2 Timothy 4:6-9. Same that happened to Demas too.

So my question still remains the same. When is Jesus with Israel going to rule on earth?

Anyway nice talking about scriptures, although disagree with each other.

    Wise guy:

If the Holy Ghost is not Christ, then Christ would not have have had to leave, in order for the Holy Spirit to come.

Christ had to leave, because he is the Holy Ghost.

Christ's SECOND COMING is as the Holy Ghost, poured out on man at pentecost.

Colossians 1 :27 ....This mystery ..... Christ in you ....

Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT ....

Man, including Christ, is this ONE BODY.

A body has to have LIFE.

The LIFE of the BODY is this ONE SPIRIT; God is Spirit and LIFE.

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (Life) that WORKETH IN YOU (the body) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

    God Bless You!

    Marilyn,

Revelation 1:16 says, "And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword:

That's taken from Isaiah Chapter 49 Verse 2. It is also mentioned later in Revelation Chapter 19 at the second coming of Christ, where it says out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations, and He shall rule them with a rod of iron, and tread them in a winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty God.

We do not expect to see a literal sword. That is the Jewish way of saying how powerful God's word is. It is like a sword that cuts right through you. In Hebrews 4:12, it says for the word of God is quick, (that is, living), and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and it is a discerner, (that is, a critic), of the thoughts and motivations of the heart.

That's how powerful God's word is. We're not talking about quoting the bible. We're talking about the truth that God's word has. It cuts deep. It's powerful. Out of the Lord's mouth went a sharp two-edged sword.

And His countenance, that is, His face, was as the sun shineth in his strength. The Greek phrase expresses looking straight into the sun at high noon on the brightest day of the year. Wow, what a sight! That's from Judges Chapter 5 Verse 31. That's who Jesus Christ is!

Not as before with face to face communication, like with great men like Moses and Abraham and all but He does.

Remember David is comparing God to a Shepherd... so, therefore, the shepherds use rods and staffs to tend to the flock.

Guiding them in which way to go.

So we are the sheep...so David uses these instruments to make a comparison.

Greetings in Christ, one and all, and grace and peace from God our Father through Christ Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit to each reader!

Recently, as soon as I woke up one morning, the Lord put the word, "loving-kindness' on my heart. He began to instruct me that we may do kind things for someone, i.e., we can open a door for someone, we can pick up something for someone that they've dropped, we can run an errand for someone...but it doesn't necessarily mean that we LOVE them.

    Not so with God.

His GREAT GREAT and STUPENDOUS kindness shown us in the face of Jesus Christ is shown to us in LOVE. God gives nothing to us grudgingly. God does not regret any kindness that He shows us. God isn't weary of being kind to us. God doesn't 'do' things for us to be 'polite', or 'civil' - with very little or no TRUE love!

God loves us, and every single act of kindness, every grace, mercy, and blessing that God bestows upon us, is given out of a heart of immense, immeasurable love!

How special, then, does that make HIS kindness to us? How thankful, how joyful we can be at this reality!

The other side is, as we understand more deeply how God moves towards US with loving-kindness - let us ask Him for grace to do things for others, not just out of 'civility', or 'politeness', or because 'it's expected of us by society," but let us be kind BECAUSE WE ARE LOVED OF GOD, and therefore, with THAT love bestow kindness on others!

Glory to God now and evermore!

to support your statement; one would have to disregard what the words of wisdom actually reports. First natural and then spiritual parables Jesus would address His followers. Thus I would agree that the council of Proverbs words report that "she"etc. addresses other types and examples. They also addresses the elephant in the room...

Hiya Erich...I hear ya...But ya gotta realiize we are 2 ppl...The wheat and the tares make us 2 ppl...the tares are satans Children...But the wheat is Christ child his seed etc...Its the tares that are made white at repentence,..Satan wants to deceive us..Its the tares that answer to the DOG that returns to his vomit and the sow that returns to his mud...The 2 men in 1 bed is just 1 man that has given birth to the wheat and the tares by satans seed...Its Satans seed the tares that Fallaway but the wheat cannnot fall away Simply b/c the wheat is the H.G that Child of Promise...Jesus said to let them grow together till the harvest...these 2 the wheat and the tares result in a warfare...But being our God is a consuming fire the tares are gonna be burned up...1 is gonna be taken and 1 is gona be left...The 2 men in one bed...But this proves OSAS...The wheat cannot fallaway simply b/c the wheat is the H.G Born in us via the seed of Christ..Which is God...A BABY CHRIST ...Jesus said my Father that gave them me is greater then ALL and no man is able to pluck them outta of my Fathers Hands...So OSAS IS TRUE

...The reason i say that the wheat is a baby Christ is simply b/c the Sower of the good seed is the Bridegroom...Thats y he has to know us ..thats when that good seed is sown in our hearts initiating a birth of Christ in us..The Son of man...Which is mankinds fruit unto God

....Thus the only one who is gonna be lost is our old adamic nature that is in rank with satan...As our God is a consuming fire that is gonna consume mans adamic nature..Satan...I think that is y we need to read Mal. 3 : 2...Who shall abide the day of his coming, Who shall stand when he appears...For he shall be as a REFINERS FIRE AND FULLERS SOAP....As our God is a consuming fire which is baptism of the H.G and fire...Which is what we need....But his judgement is also his love...We chastise our children simply b/c we love them...Right...And nothin can escape the love of God..

    We are a tribe

One tribe out of many. Individuals but from the same.

Evidence of the tribe is the history of who we were!

God loves the tribe, He created it!

All tribes are Signiant, they think differently, they experience differently, yet they are all from the same.

The creator has given the keys, and yet we do not use them.

These keys will open the universe, avenues that some tribes may never come to know.

The keys are here, do you know where they are?

You must look inside you to find them, then you will see who has the real keys!

You will begin to see the universe of love, a love beyond the comprehension of the mind!

Look inside, not outside, and you will find the keys!

Your question falls in line with many others like why don't we see Him face to face, why do good people die, why do children suffer and die. The big question, why was sin allowed to appear and death and the devil and why 6000 years of turmoil, tribulation, and suffering?

The answer is, love demonstrated by faith.

We as humans have a very hard time stepping back and looking at things in a spiritual and eternal sense. We all live in the present and make assumptions about the world based on our own life. In this case step back, try as hard as you can to imagine you are God. You are omnipotent and omnipresent and full of a deep abding love you want to share. How do you create a creation that loves you back, not because you make it love you which isn't love, but because of who you are, your character. God is a father, the greatest of fathers. Even us human fathers want our children to love us for who we are, not because we buy them things, or put them through college, or put a roof over their heads. We want to be loved because we are loved. God needed to give a creation Free Will to choose, and to choose there must be a choice. We make that choice based on faith.

    Paul said in Hebrews 1:1-3

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

It is our faith in God that causes us to love Him, our faith that He is real, that His Word is true, that Jesus Christ is His Son and our Saviour. It is this love in Him that allows us to trust Him no matter what the circumstances because we Know (have faith) that He loves us.

So why don't we hear God, why doesn' He speak to us in an audible voice? Because He wants a people, chosen and elect, that have faith that He is (His character) and love Him because of faith, not His mighty works.
  • ELB - In Reply - 1 year ago
Sister GiGI, I don't want to speak for Alex; but I believe he is saying that the Father chose Christ as THE ELECT, the image of himself.

And the Father commissioned his elect (his son, Christ) to go and give creation the INHERITANCE of HIMSELF.

Before the foundations of the world were laid we we PREDESTINATED to be conformed, by Christ, in the form of the Holy Ghost, INTO his likeness. The Holy Ghost is Christ, a MAN, existing in a glorified BODY.

Every time a believer comes to this truth they are also the elect, being made ONE with truth.

Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT.

Man, including Christ, is this ONE BODY.

Man, the body, cannot exist without LIFE.

LIFE is this ONE SPIRIT, and this Spirit is God, the Father.

Man receives everything from the FATHER, and CHRIST (Holy Ghost) is the MAN that MEDIATES this inheritance.

It's a gift of God, through the workings of the Holy Ghost.

    God Bless You.

1Sa 31:12 All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.

It is not sinful to cremate your body and is the cheapest way of burial. Once we are done with these body's we are done never to return to them; so whatever form you wish to discard your fleshy body has no bearing on your heavenly one. Our flesh ages and gets sick but our spiritual last forever and is perfect able to run and leap like a deer and last forever.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

In Revelation 1:20, how does the Bible interpret the two edged sword coming out of Christ's mouth?
  • Dav47 - In Reply on Psalms 23 - 1 year ago
The only 2 things carried by the Shepherd. The former for defense the latter for help. Comfort here means gently lead; a good lesson for Pastors to gently lead their flock and ready to defend them when necessary. Rod in Heb means a club, is used to ward off the enemies that come against the sheep who are defenseless and the staff we lean on and they used with the hook to even grab a sheep out of a ditch. Our sword is the WORD of GOD and our comfort we find in CHRIST who became our passover-rest. What we cant handle HE is quick to help all those who love HIM.

Sister Suze, your thoughts are not you own, but of God, this is how he teaches us.

He brings questions into our minds, then give us recollections of scriptures to answer the question.

1 John 2:27 The ANOINTING IN YOU will teach you all things ....you have no need that man teach you anything......

Trust in Christ for you answers, not man.

I know you do this, thought it might help others reading this.

True Christians are not in danger of losing their salvation because of sin but false religionists are still in sin and will never be saved if they fail to seek the Lord for forgiveness. Lost sinners do not 'lose their salvation' because they never had salvation to begin with.

If Christians must maintain good works after they are saved then their salvation becomes a matter of their own efforts and good works, which is impossible. What sin is so bad that a Christian could lose his salvation and election over, adultery? Theft? Lying? Murder? Being late to work?
