Since Cain was banished from the 'face(s) of the earth' and was hid(den) from the 'face of God' he was forced to seek a wife from another source. To say anything else would be at odds with the former statement.

God does not say one thing and then refute it by adding a statement contrary to the first. Therefore his wife did not come from the camp of Adam & Eve because he was banished by God.

From this it is only logical that his wife was from another camp. The only clue we are given is that the wife was an inhabitant of the land of Nod. This was not Adam's territory. Therefore she is not Adam's descendant.

We've been in the end times for some years now. It only gets worse before the rapture and then 7-year tribulation. (Yes, the early church pre John Darby believed in the rapture...such as Irenaeus and many others who wrote of it).

About the bridegroom during the tribulation...those who know the truth are aware the bridegroom is coming back soon. Will they be ready? Some but not all which is one reason why God will separate the wheat from the tares.

    Streetpreacher:

I had the most amazing experience while reading your response. Actually after I have posted the question, God gave me an answer. I was studying the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

What an amazing revelation to feel our King Jesus Christ's powerful WORD.

I have been in the Kingdom of God for quite sometime now. During my studies, I know I still need to know more.

My background with the help of God Almighty gave me more insights to enhance the God given gift of discernment.

Your response somehow unexplainable God given timing. I am a bit unsure about what God is telling me, but I will do as you suggested, for I felt the presence of God with your response.

We do have a living God; and walking in His Spirit I truly wanted to serve The Almighty God for the rest of my life.

Thank you and my prayers are for all saints. I love them all.

Grace and peace from God our Father in Heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hiya Andrew GBU ....Was just reading your post on Jeremiah 1 : 5 ...But I don't think this is prophetic of Jeremiah himself..As Jer. neva did destroy nations and Kingdoms and etc....This Jeremiah 1 : 5 was prophetic of the H.G. the Child of Promise that is gonna rule all nations...Which is the manchild that is gonna be born to the Woman in Rev 12 : 5 that is gonna rule ALL nations.

.....As Jesus said when he the Spirit of truth is come he will reprove the world of sin and judgement and righteousness etc John 16 : 13 kjv ..Which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...As Jeremiah also speaks of Gods battle ax which can only be the H.G. that is gona destroy everything not of faith...Jere. 51 : 20 kjv

.....And also Andrew i think this predestination is Christ the Child of PROMISE...Not man which is born with the stain and the spot of adam which is in rank with Satan....God cd not predistinate Satan which is mans evil adamic nature...Its Christ that is Child of Promise that Jeremiah is prophesing about the manchild that is gonna rule all nations...The H.G.

......She brought forth a manchild that is gonna rule all nations which is the H.G. that Child of Promise... Rev. 12 : 5 kjv

    Romans 8 V 29 - 30.

So has God preselected the ones who are to be saved through Christ? Then, what does our faith in Christ Jesus do for us?

This, as I understand, is one of the main differences between Baptist and Presbyterian beliefs.
  • Streetpreacher - In Reply on Ezekiel 33:12 - 1 year ago
    Memorize Joel 2 also.

Counsel: if you discern Gods call on your life, you must get into scripture like life depends upon it.

Now, God ANOINTED a shepherd boy (David). Read that. David heard the Philistines taunt against Saul and the men of Israel.

He strode out to the battlefield (a teen-aged boy) with only a sling and 5 stones. Goliath (a giant) died of his brain being caved-in by one stone. David took his head, as was the manner of challenges.

We cannot confirm this or that. If God calls you to Ministry, he will anoint His Word and the messenger. You, must ask the HOLY SPIRIT to teach you.

People in a Bible Comment room cannot do that or replace the Holy Spirits ministry as Teacher. It's your job to faithfully get alone with HIM, and ask Him, to teach you.

Interestingly, after killing Goliath, David went to be Sauls music minister at court. David's life is a study in advances to being Gods anointed King; falling into sin, and repenting of it, and living out the rest of his life.

Isaiah 61 and Luke 4:18. It is the anointing that sets people free.
  • READ THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES (END) - 1 year ago
    [ Acts 2:17-20 and,

    Matthew Chapter 16:1-4

1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came [neither of which, believing in the "caught up in the clouds" ]

Mishael comment: we cannot predict the Rapture, by selected and separated passages. Jesus said ONLY the Father knows. If we understand the procedure of the Bridegrooms father's preparations for a son's wedding to his espoused bride; can we understand the moment the Bridegroom is released to bring the bride to the wedding. This is the focus.

It's not on world wide social and national violence and threats of wars.

We are given many Bible passages (OT and NT) to read the signs and share the acceleration of those signs. We cannot move Gods hand.

We are a generation of watchmen. Watching for what? the approach of enemies. Satan WANTS to deceive, kill, steal and destroy.

To turn our focus TO social violence and freedoms removed; fears we will miss the "rapture of the CHURCH." Memorize Jesus's teaching on the Ten Virgins parable.

The earth, nations and land, will see the beginning of

    2 Peter 3__even now.

That's why I've said "the Green Deal" is the ONE WORLD RELIGION" that will unite unbelieving people on earth.

Gods promise to people is that those who trust implicitly in Him; will see the total restoration of Earth, by God the Creator (no others).

Sad to say this, but E. Musk cannot save earth, nor plant colonies of people on Mars. He is not a believer. Pray for him.

THE Bible provides signs and events that will occur. They do not predict timing. Gods timing is not like man's.

The Thief comes not at noonday. He comes in the blackness of night. Sin thinks blackness of night covers it's deeds? Not so.

Let us go through the Bible and gather the signs Jesus gave us.

Christians, vote for the FRUIT of righteousness. Not empty promises. Use righteous judgment; not wistful hopes.

If we do not read our Bibles we may be the 5 VIRGINS with no oil in our lamps. Selah.

    Mishael

I probably missed all the discussion around this, but I have seen comments before denying any rapture and done so in such a way that some are calling God's followers anti-Christian, heretical or other names. Is that normal for God's followers to call other God's followers names for simply believing God's word in 1 Thessalonians 4:17?

Some seem to have unusually negative emotional responses to the word "rapture" but the Bible clearly uses the words "caught up." So, those with animosity toward a particular word can just use whatever word or phrase to describe that event that they are comfortable with, but either way its the same event that 1 Thessalonians 4:17 describes. This verse is God's word and is true. Because God's Word says "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:" then that is true. Anything else people claim against God's Word by definition would then be false.

    The Call of Jeremiah

GOD calls Jeremiah, Son of Hilkiah the priest. He began to prophesy in the thirteenth year of Josiah's reign ( Jer 1:2). It was a surprise to hear the calling of God. God has degrees for every child that is yet to be born. Doesn't these words of the LORD give us assurance?

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jer 1:5

"You're not what you think you are. You're what GOD degreed you are."

    AKR

Trust GOD. Don't confuse about the calling of the LORD. You have to know for sure, that the gifts calling of the LORD are Irrevocable. He is the GOD who is unchanging. It is the whole duty of every Christian to share the whole Gospel with everyone next to him that lost and dying in sin. It is not promised Christians a persecution-free Earth. But do not be anxious. Even if we get questioned by Kings (/officials) of the Earth, our LORD shall put in our mouth what we must answer. The whole world follows the path of sin such as corruption, promiscuity, adultery, homosexuality, abortion, idolatry, pride, etc., The whole world disobeys God's moral law. We as Christian must stand for the truth.

"It is not politically correct to tell others of sin but it is Biblically correct to stand for the truth and expose light on sin's darkness." David Burnette #Jer2

"God chooses people based on their willingness to serve obediently, not based on their ability to perform perfectly." Christian Busse

    Hi GiGI,

Sorry to hear your post was also deleted. I did have some private correspondence with the KJBO Admin regarding deletion of these posts and they assured me that they did not remove these posts in question, but rather it was the number of the reports generated by others that triggered the auto deletion. They would not share with me the formula that triggers this to happen.

At least we know how this occurs.

    God Bless

How wonderfully stated. I wholeheartedly agree with you. I'm just bringing out that in my own life, and I know it rings true in others, that when going through tough situations, if I wallow in self-pity and say woe is me, then what effect does the crisis have in me? Could there be more? I believe there is more to every situation, if we will truly turn to God and ask him to "reveal the deeper "why", then that's when we grow and truly change. Our victory is to bring all honor and glory to him one moment at a time.

There was 1st a Priesthood in: Genesis 14:18,

Another priesthood established after 400+ yrs of captivity of Israel in Egypt. Established in Exodus 28:1, described & defined & detailed in; Exodus 28, Ex. 29, Ex. 30, Ex. 31, Ex. 35, Ex. 38, Ex. 39, Ex. 40, Leviticus 1, note the Name, Aaron being in the Levi lineage= Exodus 2:1, Numbers 26:59, if you want to study the laws of the Priesthood all the chapters of Leviticus, I recommend.

Numbers 3:1-45, clarified who was allowed to be in the Priesthood. Note: Numbers 3:32, Numbers 4, breaks down duties of each family, within that tribe, separated by GOD specifically, Numbers 3:12-13, Numbers 3:41, Deuteronomy also describe the duties. This continued through the book of Joshua. King David & king Solomon, re-established the Levitical Priests; 1Chronicles 6:10, then again at the return of the Babylonian captivity re-established by Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai, & all Israel that returned.

Therefore by these recorded accounts it appears the priesthood that existed during the moment your referring to in Mark 15, were traditional heirs of the priesthood as established, in Exodus. Respected & upheld by Jesus himself= Matthew 8:4, Mark 1:44, Luke 5:14,

Please read Isaiah 53, Zechariah 13:6, John 18:35,

Interestingly in: Luke 1:5, Luke 2, Hebrews 5, Hebrews 6, Jesus Our High Priest.

They swayed Pilate, Matthew 27:24, Mark 15:15, Luke 23:4-23, John 19:8-15, yet GOD ordained it & Christ allowed it, John 10:17,

I find it useful to read & study many Books of the Bible to answer my questions within one part of another Book.

Hopefully these are helpful & fully answer your questions

Who is the Son of man who was made the "watchman"? Have you noticed that Ezekiel 3:17-19 is repeated in Ezekiel 33:7-9?

The Son of man is Jesus Christ based on Matthew 26:24, Mark 14:21, and John 12:34.

Just what to confirm my understanding on these verses.

    Thank you.

Hello Veronica. We don't have a lot of information on extra-biblical books such as Esdras & others, as they were written either in the inter-testamental period (OT Apocrypha) or in the post-biblical period (NT Apocrypha). Esdras is said to have been written in the former, by the prophet Ezra, but this is not certain, as some claim that it was a post-NT writing.

As part of the other NT Apocrypha writings, we also find the Gospel of Barnabas, Gospel of Mary, Gospel of Thomas, the Traditions of Mathias, & many many others. There are some truths in them, but also much that is untrue, therefore they have not been allowed into the Canon of Scripture. Anyone reading them, needs to be very discerning, always comparing what they read with what is written in the Books of the Bible, pertaining to their relevance under the Old or the New Covenants of God.

    Dear Bro DN,

Looks like my post to you informing you that your post had been deleted has been removed also. So, according to the Admin of this site, wither they thought my post was inappropriate (I doubt it) or some people reported my and your posts enough for them to be removed. So, for me, I would like such people to actually respond to us rather than try to silence our views.

Hello Bro. Dan. I was sorry to learn that your comment was removed, as I was planning a lengthy response to it. Even till my present comment, I don't see it re-instated, so I will just make one brief comment on one point that you raised, that of the time of the rising of this 'Pre-Tribulation Rapture' teaching. I believe you quoted that this began to occur around the 1830s with J.N. Darby, E. Irving, et al bringing this to the fore, when prior to this, neither the apostles, nor the early Church believed in it. Please correct me if I've not accurately remembered your comment on this.

Not raising the matters of the apostles or the understanding by the early Church at this juncture, since that is the era & its beliefs that are in question, I would raise the afore-mentioned point of whether this teaching of the 'rapture' was evident in the post-apostolic era. I will just share a few names, that you no doubt will be familiar with, but will also state that I don't subscribe to everything they believe, nor the quality of their Christian experience. I only bring up their names because of that early period of their life & their belief on this subject.

Though there were both pre- and post-tribulation positions held in those days, these men named here held the pre-trib position: Polycarp (1st Century AD, & disciple to the Apostle John); Clement of Rome (1st Century AD & possibly the same as the one in Philippians 4:3); Ignatius of Antioch (2nd Century AD); Irenaeus (2nd Century AD, & disciple of Polycarp); Victorinus of Petrovium (3rd Century AD); and others, particularly various writings specific to or alluding to a pre-tribulation rapture. I share these few names simply to refute the belief that this teaching is something new from the 19th Century AD, rather, a belief that existed since the early Church. Though no doubt, other beliefs on eschatology were varied & rampant. Yet, it's only to God's Word we appeal.

And said unto me,.... Both in the everlasting council, and when he made a covenant with him in eternity; when he found him and anointed him, and laid help on him; and also when he brought him, his first begotten, into the world, at his incarnation:

thou art my servant; of his choosing, appointing, calling, sending, bringing forth, and supporting; so he was as Mediator, especially in his estate of humiliation, when he appeared in the form of a servant, and came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and give his life a ransom for many; thereby to obtain redemption, which was the great work and service he was appointed to; which he readily undertook, and willingly and cheerfully engaged in, and diligently and faithfully performed; to whom justly belong the characters of an obedient, diligent, prudent, and faithful servant; in answering which he showed his regard to his Father's will, his love to his people, and his great humility and condescension:

O Israel; a name of Christ, and which properly belongs to him, being the antitype of Jacob or Israel; the Head and representative of the whole Israel of God; who was of Israel according to the flesh, and an Israelite indeed in a spiritual sense, and was only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Israel is a name of the church, often given to it in this prophecy; Christ and his church, by virtue of the union between them, have the same names; as she is sometimes called by his names, Christ, and the Lord our righteousness, so he is here called by her name Israel, 1 Corinthians 12:12
  • MARK 15 - In Reply on Mark 15 - 1 year ago
The Jewish leadership has been trying to destroy Jesus since early in His ministry ( Mark 3:22-30). At least twice, they have been prepared to stone Him ( John 8:59; 10:31). They don't want to execute Jesus during the Passover and week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread ( Mark 14:1-2); Jesus has too many supporters who may cause a riot ( Mark 11:1-10; 14:1-2). But since they have Him, it is much better if He is executed quickly.

The Sanhedrin has a lot working against them. If they imprison Jesus, His followers could rile up the travelers from Galilee, Judea, and the surrounding area who at least think He is a prophet, if not the Messiah. Because of Jesus' popularity, the number of Galileans in Jerusalem, and the fact that the Jewish council cannot execute someone, they need the Romans to kill Jesus. Were Jesus less-renowned and less-connected to conflict with religious leaders, they likely would have been content to let a mob break Roman law by stoning ( Acts 7:54-60). Roman officials hold their trials in the early morning; if the Sanhedrin waits until later in the day, Pilate will not be available. At evening the Sabbath begins, so they need to move fast.

This verse does not describe a second trial before the Sanhedrin. The trial in Mark 14:53-65 happens concurrently with Peter's denials in Mark 14:66-72. "Held a consultation" means the evidence-gathering is over and the council members are making their final decision. They have already convicted Jesus of blasphemy according to the Mosaic law ( Mark 14:63-65). Likely this discussion is to decide on what capital offence against Roman law they will present before Pilate.

John, adds more detail ( John 18:28-32). When the members of the Sanhedrin take Jesus to Pilate's house, they do not enter. As residents of Jerusalem, they eat the Passover that afternoon, and will become unclean if they enter the home of a Gentile. After Pilate interviews and flogs Jesus, the Sanhedrin makes their case again.
