I'm confused as to why you sent this. I'm not for abortion and if that is the idea you got from my reply then, how you took it wrong. I'm not for anything that is against the bible. ANYTHING

I'm thinking there was a miscommunication somewhere. Not sure why ppl keep responding to me about being luke warm. I am 100% hot for Christ, nothing luke warm about me. Infact have been kicked off Twitter and just today, Facebook for voicing my opinion about Christ. If you care to explain what this is about I'd be happy to set it straight. The first post I responded to on here was something about creation of man I believe. What was said, by me, that was wrong?

Have you ever heard of some one blowing hot and cold ? Hot is enthusiastic energetic excited attentive , cold is withdrawn aloof etc , lukewarm is neither , a bit like sitting on the fence , hesitant unsure etc , unwilling or afraid to commit oneself either way . Hope I've explained that ok , I think Jesse did a better job than I did .

Totally agree, I was born in 1964 and things have definitely changed, for the worse, since I was a child. My cousin, Greg, was killed, in the Army, when they found out he was gay, they hung him and the Army covered it up. yet now they allow it. seriously.! I look forward to the day I die, in fact (though not suicidal) cant wait. I pray I never deny Him if they give me a choice. I can say now I will not but then I remember what Paul did and it makes me wonder. will I be strong enough to stand for Him till the end? which is very near, only Gods knows.

Talking about Prophesy... Rev. 19 : 10 I am of thy fellow servants and of thy brethren that have the Testimony of Jesus.

.....Worship God..For the Testimony of Jesus is the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

..... John 15: 26...But when he the Comforter is come whom i will send to you from the Father, even the spirit of truth from the Father he will TESTIFY OF ME...So we see that the H.G. The Comforter IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.

....Whats the meaning of all this, it simply means that under this New Covenant , He wants to give us the Comforter which is the H.G that is greater then any Prophet and is God...The H.G. is that Child of Promise...The multiplication of very God in humanity.

....And the H.G. is the gift of God as Jesus said and the only Gift we will ever need...And is the spirit of Prophecy

......When Jesus said behold i send the Promise of my Father upon you that was the Gift of the H.G...That New Covenant Gift the spirit of Prophecy....This is also the manchild the H.G. that we are gonna birth via his good seed the word that will rule all nations.....To whom the word came it made them Gods and this scripture cannot be broken...As Jesus said

....This Gift of God and the New Covenant is beyond mans Comprehension...The Prophets saw it and wondered what manner of love has the father bestowed upon US....That we should becalled the sons of God impling absolute sons like Jesus was an absolute Son...God Almighty....Remember God swore by himself when he made that Promise of Multiplication of Christ.

....Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world....And initiates a New Covenant in his Blood....I will know them ALL from the least to the greatest...If i be lifted up ( his blood ) I will draw ALL men unto me..

....This New Covenant is all inclusive and Mans carnal minds cannot Comprehend it....The thieves and harlots and whormongers are gonna be there simply b/c there is no sin too strong for his Blood..In Adam we ALL died but in Christ we will ALL live. GB.

Just wondered if everyone else sees the Bible unfolding every single day? God is on his way! What a day that will be! I have felt the Holy Spirit standing by my bed and I have never felt that way in all my life and it has happened twice to me now at 71 years old and both times the feeling was wonderful so if Heaven is anywhere close to this we got a lot of things to look foward to and it will be for ever and ever! Amen. Thank you God!

    Dear "Ray Millikin",

He tests us according to His word.

He Is The Greatest, The Strongest Of All. No one can compare with our God. Jesus lives!

Just as we humans are different like the sand on the beach. In this way He will also carve and shape us. As needed, He also teaches us. And think of New Testament times. Then the apostles would not even be afraid of what they would say. For they should get words that were in that time / speech then. Matthew 10:19. I have also experienced that the words are not mine, but God's and then all will be right.

God bless us all in Jesus name, love u in Christ.

    All Scripture Is Important!

    2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

  • Chris - In Reply on Psalms 42 - 1 year ago
Psalms 42 & 43 are generally believed to be written by the same author & the one follows the other. We can understand that the Psalmist was in exile, or held captive, in the far North of Palestine ( Psalm 42:6), & being in that sad state, he yearns to return to the temple in Jerusalem (vv 1-5), reveals the depths of his distress (vv 6-11), & prays to God that he might return ( Psalm 43:1-5).

Even though that specific situation of the Psalmist wouldn't apply to us, I see the verse common in both Psalms (v11 & v 5), "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God", as being relevant.

So, the lesson to be learned from these Psalms would be: as much as we all face trials & tribulations of various sorts in this life, some even causing us to become "disquieted" (or, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually troubled), we should not allow these trials to overcome us, thus bringing us to grief & making us useless to all including ourselves. Rather, as the Psalmist tried to pick himself up, turning away from his hopelessness of his circumstances & instead made a wilful decision to turn to God, Who alone was able to save him. When our eyes are turned away from our miserable lot & turned to the One Who is able to deliver & keep, then our hearts can be filled with praise & thankfulness, & we can echo Psalm 118:23, "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes." When we see & acknowledge that God alone can deliver us, our perspective on life will be different & we would see the testing of our faith working out in patience, longsuffering, hope, trust & joy in our lives. And as believers bought with Christ's precious Blood, we have so much to rejoice in & trust in the power of His Holy Name. We should never get despondent, but if it comes upon us, we know that we have an intimate relationship with the Lord Who will never leave us & will carry us through it.

    James 1:5, John 14:26, John 16:13,

Trust the LORD to reveal why, please pray for wisdom & understanding as you read.

Sometimes I've studied scripture & led to something in scripture that's later helpful for someone or brought up in discussion.

    2Corinthians 1:3-5,

    Hopefully these are helpful

Anybody noticed how the seven churches are mentioned in the Bible? This verse is the only verse that speaks to me personally because I (we) actually have not seen Paul's face in the flesh.

    Colossians 2:1

    For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

Then if you read the entire chapter, it is telling us the most important thing we need to remember"knit together in love".

In conclusion, sometime in the life of an individual we have been one of these churches. The last church of Laodicean gave me an indication that Paul great conflict seems to be reflected in the different of opinions one may expresses in the comments in this Bible site.

For example, the need for water baptism to received the Holy Ghost. Whereby Peter had proven that you received the Holy Spirit when you believed in what Jesus did on the cross. Paul even corrected Peter on this subject. Unless one believed in vain?

Do you understand the same way about the churches (i.e. The Body of Christ, The Bride of Christ, the sons of God, fellow heirs, fellow believers, the saints who are still alive)?

There is no indication that Israel of Old Testament times used flags. In Numbers 2:1,2 we read: "And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch", we see the use of Standards/Ensigns, probably with markings denoting a special significance to each of the twelve tribes. As well, the use of a banner where the lead warrior would raise it up while the army comes behind him in readiness to fight, might also be understood.

But the Star of David (Magen David) was first seen as a flag of Israel in 1948, though the Star was accepted as a symbol by various groups, in particular the Zionist Congress in 1897. As well, the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe (in the 19th Century) used the symbol, but it was only official from 1948.

    Rosalia,

James 1:3 says knowing this, that your trial of the faith, and the word "your" in the Greek text goes with the word trial, not the word faith. Your trial of the faith is working out endurance.

What he's telling them is that we are to live by faith and trust the Lord and not trust our circumstances and not trust our feelings. And we are to do this by remaining under our circumstances and trusting the Lord.

And we experience two things when we do that. Number one, we experience Christ Himself. He's the one who sustains us. And number two, we get to learn about the ways of the Lord to pass on to others.

    Chris,

If you look at Verse 11, that word special literally means uncommon, something that's not the ordinary. These are special miracles. Keep that in mind as you read on because we've got some of these people in the United States that have this "special ministry."

Acts 19:12 says that from his body, (that is Paul's body), things were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, (literally a headband), and the aprons that Paul wore for his tent making, and they brought it to the sick, and all the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Just by touching an article of Paul's clothing!

That's why I emphasize the word special. This is not normal! These are people who are like the Athenians, very superstitious.

There are actually some of these ministries today that if you send in your prayer request, they will pray over it or they will pray over a piece of cloth.

And they will send it to you in the mail and for your donation of $100.00 or more they will send you a prayer cloth and if you touch it you get healed. Oh boy!

It comes from this text right here. There are ministries that are making millions a year from these donations! And they say it comes from this text.

This is a historical account. It is not a teaching! God didn't say to do it. This is a very special time when Paul's headband and his apron from work, people would touch it, and they would be healed and demons would be cast out.

And notice that all the diseases and the physical healings are associated with demons. We are not talking about aunt Matilda that has the flu and if you send in $100.00 I will pray over a piece of material and send it to you.

And if you send it back and tell them you still have the flu, they tell you that it is your fault and that you don't have enough faith! Send me another hundred dollars and I will send you another cloth. So much money being made here!

    Hope this helps?
