  • Use of Bible Study Helps - in Reply on Acts 3
I read commentaries sometimes. There is a Commentary Search link on this website.

Lots of Bible students use it. We use Bible Dictionary, Concordance, History, Multiple Commentaries, and other "helps".

A serious student uses what is available. If you street evangelize, you have need of being enabled to give an answer for what you believe; along with a huge amount of Grace and Mercy.

The more we know, is a pool of Living Water the Holy Spirit has, to draw the lost to the Savior of their souls. Like the woman who met Jesus at the well. She ran to her neighborhood and told them, "COME SEE A MAN!! Who told me all of my life history." The entire community was saved, as a result. That is remarkable and worth remembering.

    Apologies. Mishael
  • SkipVought - in Reply on Psalms 24
Psalms 24 was one of The Psalms read in public school homeroom every morning. I heard it read so often that I have most of it memorized.

The portion that deeply influenced me is...

Who shall ascend to The Hill of The LORD or who shall stand in His Holy Place?

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing of The LORD and Righteousness from The God of his Salvation.

Righteousness that is not my own.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"Titus 3:5

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:"1Co 1:30

    I meant genetically of course.

Joseph and Mary were both chosen to be Jesus's parents. Why is it so easy to be offended when the details are recorded in scripture? I was not disputing anything. I'm sorry you were upset by my comment.

  • Yolonda Yvette Sims Stewart on Revelation 21
Is this the end time. COVID-19 500,000+ souls dead, and the bible says "The dead in Christ shall rise first and those that are alive and remain should be caught up to meet him in the air." and is the COVID-19 vaccine the mark or type of the mark of the best. There are some end-time prophets preaching this, I am not in fear at all, because I know none will live forever, but I am just in questioning, nothing more and nothing less. There are some end-time prophets that belief wearing the mask is a control sign of the best and his way of getting worshipers.,

Reply to Dave --- Acts 5:33 Decisions to vote for any aspirant to any political position should not be based on only one issue-(abortion). It should be based on his comprehensive plans/propositions, the individual past record, openness and readiness to embrace the community but not divisive. However note that your question is not relevant to Acts Chapter 5 bible study.

    Ms T,

Succoth appears to be given to the tribe of Gad.

"And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of GAD, even unto the children of GAD according to their families. And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah; And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir; And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and SUCCOTH, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward. This is the inheritance of the children of GAD after their families, the cities, and their villages."Joshua 13:24-28
  • Richard in Christ - in Reply on Acts 3
I wrote that a little wrong. Jesus was not "begotten" by and earthy father.
  • Richard in Christ - in Reply on Acts 3
    Hello Gary,

I'm sure what Mishael was stating is only that Jesus was not "conceived" by a human father or man. The Holy Ghost conceived Mary and He was born of a virgin. God in Heaven was His only real Father. Joseph the Carpenter was His earthy "dad" as I'm sure Mishael knows.

    God Bless.

Did anyone use either one of the two Gospels to be saved. If you did, tell me about it.

    1. Romans 10:9-13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.."

    2. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

The more answers I get, the better for our understanding is the scriptures.

The tribulation and the wrath of God are two completely different events, the tribulation is what the world does to us, the wrath is what God does to the world after were gone, Revelation 6 trib. & Revelation 8 begins the wrath!

Hi Tiffany...but to read the Word of God daily is such a privilege and is so refreshing to your spirit! Don't miss out! Everyday I learn something new, or understand something that I did not before. Our Lord IS the Word, and we are to take Him in daily for He is the bread of life...is He not? God Bless and keep.

Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

how to understand: I, me, Thou, my, Son, I, three?

it's easy to consider the I as anointed. but reading verse 6 and 8. it is the Lord who was talking.

Son is the same as verse 12? in many chinese translated version it is interpreted as anointed.

    Romans 8:34

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the RIGHT HAND OF GOD, who also maketh intercession for us.

    Romans 8:27

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Folks, this is the Godhead. Jesus did not let Mary Magdalene touch him, because he had not yet ascended to heaven to assume the position of High Priest.

He is in heaven where the 2 scriptures say what He is doing. When this age closes, the Father will tell the Bridegroom to go get His Bride.

The Holy Spirit is on earth now performing His ministry. Jesus went to the Cross to give believers the Holy Spirit who indwells each believer with the spirit of Christ.

He comforts, teaches, baptizes, SPEAKS, strives with sinners, creates, renews, convicts, anoints, guides, empowers, sanctifies, gives gifts, illuminates, reveals, truth of God, and much more.

After the catching up of the Church, His ministry will be diminished.

I would say I have a close relationship with Him. I pray, talk with, worship Jesus, read huge chunks of the Bible daily, sit still until He teaches me what I just read, He sharpens my spiritual discernment, corrects me often. I cannot express the inner JOY it is to covet being in His presence! He speaks to me at home, in the car, taking a walk. He gives words of knowledge and words of wisdom.

why?? Because He knows I am smitten with Jesus, and the Father that Jesus wants us to know. I'm going to do or say whatever he tells me.

My most favorite time is in silence, listening intently for Him. I sing-He sings. One time he sang, "I walk the Line" by Johnny Cash!

Get to know Him! He's a real Person who happens to be invisible to our eyes; but visible in the spirit; to hearts and to our spirit inside, ears. Be as close as you desire. Read 10 virgins story. The OIL is the Holy Spirits JOY.

God said in his word ask and it shall be given you knock and the door shall be open seek and you shall find. If a evil man know how to give good gifts to his son well when you ask the Lord Jesus for something he will give it to you all you have to do is to obey the Lord and live by his word and anything you asked of him he will bless you with
