    Good Morning Alex,

    I didn't mention the topic of our marriage to Christ. That was off topic from the original post.

    I don't concur with the way you present this topic of our union with Christ because I believe your take on it involves error.

    While I do believe what Scripture says about the church being the bride of Christ, I don't believe what you speak of concerning the "seed" of Christ impregnating us and believers "birthing" a baby Christ or Ghost. I think this is seriously wrong doctrine.

    But we have been this route before. I do not wish to continue a conversation on with you on the topic of your reply to me.

    God bless you, Alex.

    Also nouns in greek like wisdom, Jerusalem, city, church, synagogue, Zion, faith, sin, hell, lake (of fire), sea, flood, fasting, prayer, sacrifice, day, night, hour and many other in the Scriptures are of feminine gender, they are "she".

    Also nouns Heaven, Paradise, river, altar, Hades, angel, demon, crowd, people etc are masculine.

    Dear Faith

    Let me give you some verses, I think they will be helpful in your research.

    Ezekiel 18:21-22

    "21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

    22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live."

    Ezekiel 18:24

    "24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die."

    To Faith,

    The change that takes place in a believer at salvation is irreversible. The old nature of the sinner before he was saved is completely replaced by the new nature of Christ. Jesus has promised to never leave a believer. Can a believer leave Christ? Not like some might think, because a believer cannot go anywhere without taking his new nature in Christ with him. A true believer, one that is truly born again in Christ, cannot sin by denying Christ like an unsaved person can because Christ in new believers cannot deny Himself.

    9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

    QUESTION? PSALMS 51

    Whose words, are the words in Psalms 51?

    Are the words, David's words; or they, the Holy Ghost's words?

    2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God SPAKE as they were moved be the Holy Ghost.

    2 Samuel 23:1 Now these be the last words of David ......

    2 Samuel 23:2 The spirit of the Lord SPAKE by me, and his word was in my tongue.

    Is not Psalms 51 a PROPHECY of Christ coming as SINFUL FLESH to be saviour of the world?

    Psalms 51:13 Then will I (Holy Ghost) teach transgressors thy (the Father's) ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee (the Father).

    May God give us eyes to see and ears to hear.

    When Isaiah said Isaiah 62 : 5 thy sons are gonna marry thee, Thats the H.G. our 1st born our only son as Zech 12 : 10 says....We are gona marry our spritual sons which are the Children of PROMISE the H.G....The spirit and the flesh are gona be made 1....When he spat on the ground he made clay of the spittal....Which implies a marriage....His word and the ground (humanity) are gonna be made 1...As he said the field is the world....so we see a marriage in the Spirit...And he anointed the eyes of the blindman with that clay...The Clay is humanity the bride, the Church...That New Creature that is married to Christ JESUS....Why is it a new creature simply b/c man and God are gonna be made 1...Thats what a Marriage is when 2 are made 1..That was his prayer that we all might be made 1...But this is a very unique marriage, We are gonna marry our sons which is the H.G. OUR 1ST BORN OUR ONLY SON...Which is Christ the son of man...Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth ME.

    Gi Gi Gbu but you leave out something....The most important part is the marriage of God with humanity...We are gonna be made 1 with God..His SPIRIT AND OUR FLESH ARE GONA BE MADE 1....Thats y John said he that has the bride is the bridegroom....Our Flesh and his spirit are gonna be made 1...Thats y he has to know us,..Thats when the good seed is sown in our hearts...Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the word of God that liveth ...That good seed is the living word not the written word as the letter results in death...But the spirit results in life.... Isaiah 62 : 5...As a young man marrries a virgin so shall thy sons marry thee..As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,..So shall thy God rejoice over thee.

    .....Thats y Jesus was saying to whom the Word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods...Thus he has to know us...If he does not know us there will be no seed deposited in our hearts thus no Child of Promise and no kingdom...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will IN NO WISE ENTER THERE IN...ok leme go

    This is more common than we might realize. Could be used of things that produce offspring (seed). Here are a few more examples of how the female gender is used. Galatians 4:26 "But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all". 2 John 1:1 "The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth"; Revelation 12 also. I really appreciate the figures of speech in the Bible. It can really stimulate the mind.

    The "her" in verse 3 is referring to the city Zion, not God.
  • Giannis - In Reply on Psalms 97 - 1 year ago
    Dear Ronald

    That's right the Greek for spirit is pneuma. Pneuma (spirit) is God, the angels, the demons. But they don't have souls. So where is their concious, personality etc llocated? In their spirit of course. So the spirit is ourselves, our conscious, our thoughts, our emotions, literally ourselves. The soul ( gr phyche not psuche) is a lets say dress for the spirit, only people have souls not God not other heavenly existences.

    Dear Allen, all those nouns in Hebrew are of feminine gender, that's why they are "she, her"..
  • Streetpreacher - In Reply on Psalms 48 - 1 year ago
    Sometimes heaven or wisdom is called 'her''.

    Maybe Chris can give more insight to this?

    Read to the end; there is forgiveness.

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

    Romans 12:1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.

    1 Corinthians 3:16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?

    Leviticus 19:28You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.

    1 Kings 18:28 And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them.

    1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

    Deuteronomy 12:4 "Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods."

    Leviticus 20:23 You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.

    Proverbs 16:2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

    1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

    1 Timothy 2:9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with MODESTY and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array [minidresses, stretchy pants, thick makeup]

    You don't have to get them laser'd off. Just pray and admit you just didn't know. Repent: turn around and walk in His forgiveness and be restored.

    Psalm 51 was written by King David after Nathan the prophet confronted him about having Bathsheba's husband put on the front lines in war. He was killed.

    David married Bathsheba. Nathan also told him that his and Bathsheba's first born child would die. The baby died. David repented in ashes; got up and washed, ate a meal and comforted Bathsheba. His servants thought that he was terrible: Acting like the whole thing was normal.

    David had poured out his heart hoping God would change His mind. ( l am the Lord and I change Not)

    David tried. He knew it was his sin, totally.

    He had children problems the rest of his life. He died before Solomons reign started. He didn't know his son would have hundreds of wives and concubines. Make treaties with nations God forbid, worship their idols.

    Psalm 51 is authentic repentance for sins.

    The Lord bless you. My grandson attends a Christian School. He learns so much and tells it to his parents, who are run ragged every day with cares of this life. They love to hear what he learns. He's a young "preacher" already. I pray for them every day, as the Day of Jesus's return approaches.

    1 (A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.)

    Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the CITY OF OUR GOD, in the mountain of his holiness.

    2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is MOUNT ZION on the sides of the north, the city of the GREAT KING.

    "Her" is speaking of a place: Heaven. It's similar to Wisdom described as female too. It's just how the writer described it. THE WHOLE BIBLE is inspired by the Lord.

    God is Spirit. Jesus is fully God and fully Human.

    Earth was created for Humans. That's why Jesus was born as a human. He came to save us from the loss of Dominion in the Garden of Eden; stolen by Satan.

    The Day Jesus was anointed of God, Isaiah 61:1-3, the whole earth was in awe.

    Luke 4:18; Psalm 147:2-3

    Mine eyes have seen the glory

    Of the coming of the Lord;

    He is trampling out the vintage

    Where the grapes of wrath are stored;

    He hath loosed the fateful lightning

    Of His terrible swift sword;

    His truth is marching on.

    Chorus

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    His truth is marching on.

    I have seen Him in the watchfires

    Of a hundred circling camps

    They have builded Him an altar

    In the evening dews and damps;

    I can read His righteous sentence

    By the dim and flaring lamps;

    His day is marching on.

    Chorus

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    His truth is marching on.

    He has sounded forth the trumpet

    That shall never call retreat;

    He is sifting out the hearts of men

    Before His judgement seat;

    Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him;

    Be jubilant, my feet;

    Our God is marching on.

    Chorus

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    His truth is marching on.

    In the beauty of the lilies

    Christ was born across the sea,

    With a glory in His bosom

    That transfigures you and me;

    As He died to make men holy,

    Let us die to make men free;

    While God is marching on.

    Chorus

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

    His truth is marching on.

    I keep hearing this song, so the Holy Spirit wants us to be encouraged despite circumstances we are facing now. Let's praise to Jesus our King. Sing this song.

    Thank You Father The life of God flows in my blood and cleanses my arteries of all matter that does not pertain to life. My heart beats with the rhythm of life, carrying the Life of God throughout my body, restoring LIFE AND HEALTH ABUNDANTLY. ( John 17:23; Eph. 2:22).

    I have a strong heart. Every heart beat floods by body with life and cleanses me of disease and pain. Ex. 23:25 Mark 11:23.

    I command my blood cells to destroy every disease germ and virus that tries to inhabit my body. I command every cell of my body to be normal In Jesus' Name. Rom. 5:17; Luke 17:6

    Every cell that does not promote life and health in my body is cut off from its life source. My immune system will not allow boils and infection to live in my body In Jesus' Name! Luke 17:6; Mark 11:2

    I am redeemed from the curse of the law and my heart beats with the rhythm of life. The spirit and life of God's Word flows in me cleansing my blood of every disease and impurity.

    The law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death; therefore, I will not allow sin, sickness or death to lord over me! Rom 8:2; 6:13,14

    The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, permeating His life through my veins, sending healing throughout my body Rom 8:11.

    In Jesus' Name I forbid my body to be deceived in any manner. Body, you will not be deceived by any disease germ or virus. Neither will you work against life or health in any way. Every cell in my body supports life and health.

    Let's look at the principle that could be the key to you being a partaker of God's provision concerning your healing.

    There is probably no other subject as important to your healing and health than the principle of CALLING THINGS THAT ARE NOT. We see in Romans 4:17-22 that Abraham became fully persuaded that God would do what He had promised. The way he became fully persuaded was by calling those things which were not manifest as though they were.

    Dear Faith , if you are writing against O S A S ,that must mean that you are against it ? If you are against it why are you against it ? Please forgive me if you think I'm being rude , I'm not , honest , I would ask you why you are against it ? Which scriptures have convinced you in your opinion ? If you are convinced and against it you must be firm in your conviction if you are going to stand up and give a lecture on it , if you are convinced you must know why you are convinced , if you know why you are convinced then you from your heart and from the scriptures that have convinced you , shouldn't need any one else's help . I have always believed that when Peter James and John saw Christ transfigured , that that awesome other worldly vision would have been an enormous comfort and strengthener to those three , it would have strengthened their faith to rock solid proportions , any tiny doubt or fear for themselves and their own lives would cease to exist when they closed their eyes and remembered that sight , it gave them so much conviction and they needed it , how can anyone convince another if they themselves aren't convinced ? If you are convinced in your belief then you must know why you are and if you know why you are you must be able to express your conviction with the help of scripture , if you need some one else's help to tell you what you are convinced of , are you really convinced ? Search your heart and the scriptures , convince yourself before you try to convince others , may God bless you in your search for truth .
  • MORE THAN A BOOK - In Reply on Zephaniah 1 - 1 year ago
    It's more than a book. From Genesis to Revelation, it is all about the Life of Jesus Christ, the Messiah of Israel and the whole world.

    Romans 1, speaks of the Godhead: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Other places through the Bible we see the phrase:

    LET US, or like, WHO WILL GO FOR US. Finding those places in scripture is like finding big nuggets of pure Gold. Every time I go through the Bible I find more!

    I think it pleases God for us to search and dig for more Truth. It grows our Faith.

    You will not be disappointed.

    Jesus is returning soon. John 3, Jesus tells a Pharisee, he must be born again to even see the Kingdom of God. Nicodemas followed Jesus. He was at the Crucifixion and saw Jesus die for our sins. He saw the Temple in ruins. All recorded in Scripture. He knew Jesus was the Messiah.

    If you know any military friends, read Gideon's story. He wasn't keen on leading an army. God whittled his army down to soldiers who lapped water like dogs. Head down but eyes up, searching for ambushers. They went to battle and did great exploits.

    We can learn a lot of practical knowledge in the Bible. It's an amazing book; testimonies.

    The site now has an Exhaustive Concordance, along with other translation comparison. Also the 1611 KJV. Several times I've looked at a deeper meaning or clearer understanding & the 1611 KJV was really helpful.

    To use the Concordance, you can tap verse. New page opens. Bottom of page the words can be individually researched from the original text used for these translated versions on this site.

    Interestingly & worth noting : occasionally I have found the surrounding words sometimes are a better key to my understanding than the single word, that I found perplexing.

    Also prayer for wisdom: James 1:5,

    Hopefully this is helpful

    In John 3, when Jesus was speaking to Nicodemas; He said we must be Born Again from Above. Then he explained the Holy Spirit who Jesus will send to us.

    Jesus is the one who baptizes us with the Holy Spirit.

    This matches with what is being said in Acts.

    Water baptisms are a beautiful way to invite friends and family to witness in the flesh, what has happened in the Spirit. It's not mandatory.

    I know I was baptized the night I was saved. I had been in the occult for years; so I had a big problem with demons; UNTIL I STARTED READING THE BIBLE, like my life depended upon it. One day I ordered all evil spirits to leave!! I asked God for angels to protect me and my son.

    He answered that prayer. I read my Bible every day like it was food. It's been 37 years, traveling the road of ever increasing Faith. I don't doubt anything in scripture. Because Jesus Christ IS the Word.

    You're doing good.

    Genesis 27:41,

    Esau was also called Edom, Genesis 36:1, please read: Obadiah 1, whole chapter

    Note: Obadiah 1:10-14 "For the violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off forever. In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou was one of them. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossways, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress."

    Obadiah 1:6, Malachi 1, Deuteronomy 2:22, Jeremiah 49:7-22, Judges 11:17, 1Kings 11:14-25, Ezekiel 25:12-14,

    Romans 9:13-15,

    Hopefully these are helpful also, towards more understanding of why GOD said Esau HE hated.

    If your Bible has reference columns on each page (in the center or at the bottom of each page)

    Those are references that will point you to other scriptures that give more information on your original verse.

    So if your Bible doesn't have those, consider buying a KJV REFERENCE/STUDY BIBLE. It will really explain some passages.

    Also, you can Google a scripture like this, to get to commentaries by Bible Scholars.

    Sample:

    John 3:16, commentaries, or history, or Meaning, or Teaching

    I generally pick websites that have "Bible" within their Link. You have to be careful you're not reading something written by Jehovah witnesses or other cults.

    If what others teach something that seems off, we as believers need to search it out. Put that Pastor on your daily prayer list. Ask God to reach out to him through the Word. Prayer goes places that we can't go.

    What does"her" mean in this verse 3 of Psalms 48, is it eluding to God having a feminine side? Or as a mothering side as a refuge or place to go?
