Hello again One Eighty. Looking at our comments both now & previous, I think the problem I have is understanding the phrase you use, "I believe Jesus is an EXTENSION (creation) of God Who is Spirit."

I don't use the word 'creation' to refer to Christ's appearance, as that denotes that God created Jesus, as One Who had no previous existence (e.g. Adam & Eve were created, the angels were created, animals, etc. as well). Whereas Jesus was never created as He is the Word incarnate (made flesh); i.e. the Word was always in God's Being & God took His Word and embodied His Word with humanity. The Word, though in human form, never ceased to be vitally connected to God, i.e. the Word was always Divine (holding the Divine Nature), but for the sake of taking upon Himself flesh, for suffering & dying, Jesus made Himself of no reputation ( Philippians 2:6-8): Greek for that is 'ekenosen', emptied Himself of His full Divinity - which He had to of course, to become man with human limitations, aging & death.

You've also said that "Jesus is an EXTENSION of God" & I think I can understand your meaning with this, but I wouldn't use 'creation' for Jesus, because how can a created One also be the Creator & Sustainer of all things ( Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:13-17)? So, I'm unsure whether we're saying the same things & using specific words to describe Jesus' manifestation, or whether we need to discuss further what I've shared about the eternal Nature of Christ Jesus. Blessings.

Dear "Willie milton", i don't quite understand your intention with this post. Because as far as i can see Hebrews 5:1 has nothing to do with women's periods. Otherwise, i see what you mean and it's right.

The Holy Spirit fills the person who is willing to do God's Will. Jesus Himself had to submit to God.

God bless u in Jesus name, love u in Christ. John 5:1-15

The epistles from Romans-Jude are written to the saved people that came from the book of Acts. They were not written to the world or sinners. They were addressed to "Brethren".

The epistles are for you to follow, absolutely & continue to learn once you obey the gospel. Amen

Amen Doug. You are so right. When they pierced his side, it was blood & water that came forth.

In John 3:3-5, why did Jesus say that we must be born of water and the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of heaven of God? It's his red letter words.

People must learn that in the epistles, they are not written to sinners. Not written to the world. Romans- Jude are written to the saints. Written to the people that came from the book of Acts that were water baptized & received the Holy Ghost.

Now in Acts 19:2 , Paul asked certain disciples if they received the Holy Ghost since they first believed?. They said they had never heard of the Holy Ghost. Then they asked what then were they baptized under? They said John (the Baptist). So

then they baptized them in the name of the Lord Jesus.

And when Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. So you see, they obeyed Acts 2:38.

It is about the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:41, Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine & fellowship, & in breaking of bread, & in prayers.

Why are people dismissing the book of Acts?

And why are people dismissing Romans 6:3 -6

V 3 Know ye not, that so many of us

as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

V4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

V5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

V6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Jesus was water baptized to fulfill all rightousness.

We must know God & obey the gospel to be saved.

We are going to be judged on how we have kept Gods word.

    The Lord speaks.Listen.

Ironically; those who identify as gay tend to have higher income and greater career status than the general population; despite those pundits who are indoctrinating our kids seemingly not concerned about things like that. Of course some may be given unfair advantages with this lifestyle today; but this has been a longer trend. It also means we should be aware that there is support both on the left and on the right (as was evidenced by the previous Presidential administration) toward and from the gay community. Again; the suicide rates among trans people; the violent relationships that often take place with gay "lovers"; and other emotional trends that tend to be characteristic of those who eventually adopt this lifestyle are not mentioned.

Of course; everything boils down to money. As the governor of South Dakota mentioned on TV with Mr. Levin last night; food programs for poor children from the Federal Government was threatened to be shut down if the whole agenda wasn't accepted; and she had to fight for all girls and boys sports to stay that way. It is not surprising; therefore that that state is doing better than any other economically.

Once we see enough poverty and hunger in this country; these issues will probably tend to fade away. The challenge is being salt and light; and knowing when our kids should try to engage others and when they are endangered.

Another issue here which could tend to go through the cracks is those whose children get "Christian" education. The seminaries today; as well as traditionally sound colleges have in a large part gone awol; with the "woke" aagenda. There are more individuals apparently who can teach in such institutions who themselves aren't Christians. The church in a large part needs to possess what they confess; if we expect to preach the truth we'd better actually believe it as the Bible says. Again; I'm convinced that the runaway divorce rate and remarriage in the CHURCH started what we see today

I am assuming that you are at least a middle age adult yourself. There are good perspectives here; for both keeping your kids in a public school; or taking them out and home schooling (as well as having some social interactions in the community).

It probably is good to step back here; and see that the whole concept of education has been turned on its head. Apparently; to the extent that teachers aren't even required to teach to pass their evaluations these days. Gone are the days where we were taught to compete with the rest of the world to secure the best knowledge; and skills to be a productive member of a WORKING society. When we are all expecting something for nothing; and not having any respect for authority; discipline or correction then we become selfish and spoiled people. This is a sign of a decaying society; as ancient Rome being destroyed from the inside out. The concept of pride; which the gay community likes to draw out from God's condemnation of Sodom shouldn't be entirely dismissed here. When we are proud of our "enlightened" mindset or our "freedoms" without God's righteousness then we succumb not just to unnatural relations; but greed; political agendas; atheism or whatever we choose to be our mantra.

I would strongly suggest that children be taught to be prayer warriors. If they are encouraged to band together; then it will be harder to stop them from being salt and light. This brings a clear demarcation from the self destruction this suicidal generation maintains when following the one who steals; kills and destroys. There used to be a Montessouri mindset (those places still exist) where competition was said to be unfair. Certainly; a Christian shouldn't laud any successes over anyone. However; we also should excel in our field; for instance with music as it isn't edifying to God not to put our whole mind; heart and soul into our profession whatever we do.

Prayer has been removed from school but it's ok to switch genders.

    Frightening.

Television is another bad influence as well. Especially Sports! they wants to be a voice and is for all immortality. Social media is now the biggest tool for spreading opinion and views and everybody has one!!

All you hear is your god, My god, The man from above, The Basketball gods. Everybody has one, they're just not made of wood and clay vessels anymore. We build them in our minds!

Entertainment is controlling the culture change especially Hollywood.

With all this bad information at your fingertips, by the time a kid gets old enough to think on his own somebody's thinking for him. Any and everything is truth but the bible.

That's Godless! This didn't happen overnight.

When we pray to God don't ask him to restore things back to our former days, they wasn't good either. Atleast not for everyone. We pray with the humility of Daniel.

He included himself when he prayed for his nation.

    It's getting late for me.

I would like to speak some more on this tomorrow.

    God bless.

We have the right to vote. We have the privilege to attend open school board meetings.

The Book of Deuteronomy 11: GOD shows us that the burden to teach our children BIBLE TRUTH is on the Believing Parents. We do not get a pass on SPIRITUAL EDUCATION, in the Home. We don't get to edit out "parts" according to politics.

Example: my son said his teacher taught we all came from APES. He was upset because he had a test the next day!

I asked him if he ever saw an ape inside of his public school? Did he see a ape living in a 3 bedroom house with air conditioning, big screen tv with remote, PlayStation 5? A $60,000 car, full refrigerator?

He was in tears. He said teacher was going to give an "F"to everyone who disagreed with her.

I gave him my PERMISSION TO FLUNK THE TEST. I told him there would be science projects he could get an A+ on. He did the work and his grade average Passed Him to the next grade. He learned hard work beats HERESY every single time.

I also taught him in my home_ sex education and Godly morals. He learned the correct names and functions. He grew up having respect for the female sex.

Another time (age 15) I asked if he wanted to marry a virgin? He said YES!! I told him as the man, he should protect his virgin & keep her pure. Proverbs 3

Don't be afraid to teach Bible principals to your kids. Teach Godly knowledge. God made them, to be passed from one generation to the next one. It works.

    Hi Chis,

Regarding creation of Jesus: I don't recall a scripture either. I'll try to make my thoughts clearer. When we think of human body (flesh) creations, many may think of God's design of the reproductive system. Or with Adam and Eve, we have the Genesis account. Not so with Jesus (Christ). Again, I believe Jesus is an EXTENSION (creation) of God Who is Spirit. Actually, using JUST the word Christ here might be appropriate, because although names (Jesus) have certain meanings, their purpose is for body (flesh) identification.

Jesus is the Word, meaning Truth. Jesus is the Truth. The Spirit is Truth. Jesus(Christ) is Spirit. Why is He? Because His Creator Is. And much more. God's creations are wholly lovable and loving, eternal, holy, full of light, and unchangeable. These descriptions are all one. God is not a body. If God is perfect and eternal, then by definition anything He creates would also have to be perfect and eternal.

    Anyways, just some thoughts.

    Peace

    God Is

" Ezekiel 36:26 - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Psalms 51:10 - Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

    Hello Adam,

As a retired public school teacher, I saw this coming into the curriculum about 5 years ago. First they "train" (desensitize, propagandize, indoctrinate) the teachers and staff, then in a year or two, it is introduced into the curriculum. With this insidious sexual education and with CRT, the design is to have this ideology be incorporated into every subject matter so that it is woven into every aspect of the school environment. Gone are the days when a parent could just opt their child out of sex education teaching for that portion of the day. The directives are coming down to the local schools from the state Offices of Public Instruction and the Federal Education department. So, local school districts will lose funding if they do not comply with these directives. And, we all know, it is money that drives the decisions at the local level more than principles.

My suggestion is to urge every parent of school age children to take their children out of the public schools and enroll them in a Christian private school or home school them. This decision is very costly to parents and some just cannot afford these two options. So, for those of us who are led, we can speak up for these children that will remain int he public school by how we vote concerning the ideologies of candidates beginning at the school board level, we can speak up at the school board meetings, communicate to the superintendent, principal, teachers ones concerns (it doesn't matter if one has kids in school or not, we employ them). We can, inform the public about what is actually being taught in classes by gaining access to curriculum materials to review (we have a right to do this). We can help some families by contributing to tuition scholarships.

But, we really cannot sit back and let this happen to the youngest of our population. I got out of teaching when covid hit, and it was very timely as these things became part of the curriculum in the two years I have been out. Pray and act.

    Gary Myers,

We sleep in death until we are resurrected.

If I may give my understanding.

Luke 16:19-31 First, we must understand this is a parable, and the parables Jesus told he had to explain for his disciples to understand and he did not explain this one. We cannot take this passage as a literal description.

In the context of Luke 16, Jesus is talking to Pharisees and scribes about stewardship, love of riches, adultery and no servant can serve two masters. The Pharisees were covetous, they flaunted their wealth and the seat of authority they had. Is this parable describing a holding place where the redeemed can live in peace but can look and even talk across a vast chasm with the sufferings of the sinners in torment?

The Babylonian Talmud speaks of "Abraham's Bosom" as the place that righteous Jews went after they died. The Jewish people of the time of Jesus had been influenced by Babylonian and Hellenistic Greek cultures, and that influence is still today.

Jesus was probably using a common image from that culture to create a picture that they could relate to their final destination. This parable also does not fit all of the scripture if we receive our reward as soon as we die, as said, we go to heaven or hell.

Many scriptures tell us when we will receive our reward and it is not when we die. Here are just a few and they all agree it is at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Matthew 16:27 1 Corinthians 1:7-8 1 Corinthians 15:22-23 1 Thessalonians 2:19 Revelation 22:12

John wrote this a while after Jesus ascended, he said Jesus was in heaven, "Son of man which is in heaven", John 3:13. Peter said David is dead and buried and his sepulcher is with us unto this day, and he has not ascended to heaven. Acts 2:29-34

The day of redemption, Eph. 4:30 1 Cor. 15:52 1 Thess.4:16 (not descend) and many more.

    God bless,

Beverly and Victoria r correct I think . We should play an active part in the upbringing of our own children and the children of our close family and our fellow church members . If we think that it's ok to just leave it to our schools to bring our children up we r asking for trouble . It's our job to ensure that all the children of our family , physical and spiritual r brought up by us , not paid employees who r not shepherds , they r hirelings and care not for our lambs but have their own agendas .

    Hi Adam,

This stuff has been out there for quite some time. Respectfully, I would have to ask, "Where have you been?" Many schools teach that one consider that all people with white skin are racist. Its sad; the hate and fear they imbue upon these young minds.

As far as biblical help; pray for your enemies? Lincoln said,"Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?" So pray for your perceived enemies that they would become your friends.

What should parents do? Take your children out of the public school system. I taught a 14 yr. old last year and gearing up to start again in few weeks. Its not always easy, but the children are worth it. It is going to worsen and they cannot harm them when they have no one to teach. Perhaps then they will figure it out.

What bible are you reading? And where does God tell Moses that His name is Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? I cannot find this any place in the KJV. My bible (KJV) tells me that God told Moses His name is I AM. With all due respect, the things you are saying here make zero sense to me.
  • Jesse - In Reply on James 1 - 1 year ago
    Hi Giannis,

I believe those were literal flames but not the flames of Hell. This was Hades. There is no one in Hell yet. I do believe that there will be a future resurrection of the dead. In fact, there will be two, one for the New Testament saints that Jesus comes for at the time of the rapture, and then a future resurrection after the 1,000 year reign of Christ for all those who rejected Christ, and they will be cast into the lake of fire (Hell).

As far as resurrection from the dead goes, what would be your understanding of Matthew 26:52-53? I understand those to be Old Testament saints who were resurrected shortly after Jesus' resurrection. These would have been all the saints who were in Abraham's Bosom. I believe that not only were they were resurrected, but they were also seen by many in Jerusalem.

But as far as the presentation of the rich man and Lazarus given to us in Luke 16:19-31, the theme that I see all the way through is that Jesus is talking about the contrasts between this earthly life and the spirit realm, earthly life and the Kingdom of God. There is no greater contrast than in Verses 19 through 31, the presentation of the rich man and Lazarus. I call it a presentation because it is not a parable as some bibles call it. This is the story of true people. And these two people are opposites. They are in contrast to each other as far as people in their conditions in their earthly life, contrast in their death, and then after life throughout eternity is another contrast.

    Blessings to you also!

    Brother Jesse:

    I agree with your comments.

We have to surrender (die) our life to Christ.

Do we have life, in and of ourselves, NO? Most don't understand this.

1 Corinthians 4:11 For we which LIVE are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake, that the LIFE OF JESUS might be made manifest in our mortal bodies (as well as in our IMMORTAL bodies in the AGE TO COME).

To repent means to change our way of UNDERSTANDING.

To repent would be to agree with God's word.

John 14:6 I AM the way, the Truth, and the LIFE.

Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery ....Christ in you .....

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (in you) that worketh both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

Christ (the first man) UNDERSTOOD this ....THOU in ME....the Father did EVERYTHING through Christ.

Man has to come to TRUTH (Christ in you): Man does EVERYTHING ....I in THEM .....through Christ.

This is the great DECEPTION: No KNOWLEDGE of the WORKS of God.

Hebrews 2:8 .....For now we see NOT YET all things put under him.

Man's time table IS NOT God's timetable.

Ephesians 2:7 That in the AGES TO COME .....

Isaiah 11:9 ....for the earth shall be full of the KNOWLEDGE of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I PLEASE, and it shall prosper in the things whereto I SENT IT.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things (in the ages to come) have been subdued to him, then shall the Son also be subject unto him who put all things under him, that GOD may be ALL in ALL.

God Bless ALL on our pilgrimage to TRUTH.

Not everyone receives the Holy Ghost after water baptism. Many certainly do, yes. But not all. For me it took nearly 3 years. I didn't fully understand it & I was fearful.

Since then I have obeyed the gospel=death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ w love & in obedience & following in all his ways.

Jesus said we must be born of water & of the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God. We must be born again to see the kingdom.

Please remember the Holy Ghost came to the woman and left the same stairstep of Dominion that he had from Gen 3:16 just holy now but in God she is still a woman and have to follow the course of this Flesh. All she do in the lord should be under the man's leadership and not leading him .woman have the zeal of God in love but some is not according to knowledge. They need teaching if they are willing to obey then they need teaching . There is no world where the woman can come ahead of the man . This is Satan

God do not contradict himself the holy ghost has nothing to do with the flesh but power over the spirit of the devil .A women and a man have a chores in this word through the flesh and the no male or female is for when we become Angels. A woman still are under Adam and eve law in the flesh and the flesh of a man have the rulership over the woman. The holy spirit will stop a woman for her monthly period nor childbirth nor death . Hebrews 5:1 if a priest is needed and your pastor is dead then then church must

line all qualified males and choose a priest from among men. Numbers 28:1 when god was setting up the priesthood he said call all males from the family of Arron that they may minister to me in the priesthood . God had a women prophetess call Mariam Moses sister. a elder is appointment after one is saved. The holy ghost have nothing to do with putting a woman in authority over a man just over the Devil works. 1Tim 2:11 this was after the holy Ghost had fell Acts 2:1 -2 1Co 11:3-4 this was written after the Holy Ghost had fell. So why now the women liberation is come now it seems that God have a new thing concerning the Pastor position. if you believe anything out of the scripture you are in False Doctrine and the Bible say's if a Angel from heaven preach any other gospel from what we preach let him be accursed . So it is not what God told the woman she could not do...He told her what to do. Thanks Willie

    Hello Doug,

I think we would be hard pressed to find someone that understands it all. I know I am far, far from it myself. My thought on remission of sin is that no amount of water can remove the stain of sin. I believe the blood Jesus shed was sufficient, nothing else needed, including water. Personally, and this is just my thought process, but if I were to say that water played some part in the remission of sin, I would basically be saying that the blood Jesus shed on my behalf was insufficient for my salvation.

As for John 19:34, those pockets of blood and water that are around the heart area, some medical experts have said this indicates that Jesus died of a ruptured heart and that water and blood would coagulate in the area around the heart by the way that He died, suffocating.

Here is what I get from reading 1 John 5:6: It says, "This is He, (Jesus), that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth." John is going to present three witnesses. At the Lord's baptism, it showed He had a physical body. But he says and blood, that it was the Lord's physical body that shed blood on the cross. Both of those instances are witnesses to the physical body of Jesus, along with the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

Now for Acts 2:38, where Peter says, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins," I have to believe that they would have never been water baptized unless they first repented. My understanding is that repentance is the emphasis, not water baptism. A person must repent, completely surrender their life to Christ for their salvation, and then after that, be water baptized. But it's the repentance and complete surrender to Jesus Christ that removes or remits sin, not water.

Add nor takeaway from the word of God. There is no written word of God where a women was ever to be over a man. A pastor is in a position of authority. I will believe what the bible say's and let women keep silent in authority with all subjection .You know what subjection mean's it don't mean dominion.1C 11:3-4 is the stairsteps of dominion .Our churches is out of order with the women's liberation movement defiled the church of God. It is now a perverted and backward doctrine. I will never be under a woman pastor. That is my conviction and I will die with it and you are no one will change me 1+1= two . End of story Thanks
