  • Rick on John 1
I love this: The BIBLE (The written Word) was with God, was God, and created all things. The Word (the written Word) became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten (Flesh and blood (virgin birth), not by adoption like we are) of the Father.
  • A disciple on Hebrews 5
Yes, Steve, Nowhere! When the Lord taught the crowds He used parables; (short stories that are told for to making moral and spiritual points); which every man hearing could in his integrity of heart and fear of God receive good and well as it was ever intended when God spoke it to him. Likewise when a man has no place for faith or fear of God, he cannot hear what's plainly spoken; but hardens.
  • A disciple on Revelation 14
Word (cont.); The way I read Revelation 6, the First Seal discloses an appearance of a conqueror, a hunter of souls, a man of war, GIVEN a seat and authority, and a commission from God to subdue all. Under each succeeding seal then is both the underlying evil as well as the result in the spirit; through the four men of war, to the slaughter of the Saints, culminating in the great Day of the LORD.

Word; Right you are; but the things that are now, have ever been, and there was never a break in the line from generation to generation; and the nature and sins of the world then is still at work in men now; and the words of Isaiah are still applicable and in action. It is a mistake to say that any prophecy of that kind was done in Israel and no longer in effect with following similar generations.
  • Holly on Philippians 3
This speaks oodles of joy to my heart. Paul speaks of counting it all loss for Christ. For me that includes the idea of a perfect doctrinally correct church. Praising the Lord for the past indoctrinationally incorrect churches so I can look forward to Christ alone. You have got to come to a point in your life were it's you and Christ alone. When you truly live this you are whole.
  • Dottie on 2 Corinthians 4
I woke up this morning remembering god speaking to me in a day of trouble and delivering me from harm saved at 25 I am, 68 in a few days ... jesus keeps saving me over and over again I know without a doubt he is alive and lives in me....I have heard his direction many times and it always works who am I that he should help me speak to me and guide me the way he does.
  • Maria vera on Psalms 23
God is my healer. He is my protector for my whole family. We thank the lord from bringing my granddaughter home but we are still praying for our granddaughter to stay with us in a better environment. I am still praying that my son gets his daughter for her safety. Oh lord put your wings on Kylie Vera and bring her home for safety. Amen.
  • William on John 21
Interestingly enough, Jesus leaves us with plenty of information for the believer and pursuers to answer the questions of existence for themselves and equally to inquire among themselves.
  • Karen Murphy on Psalms 91
My mother gave me this to read when I was incarcerated and it work well for me I love thi's psalm my favorite
  • Word
Disciple Isaiah 28 that captivity coming and God addressing the Isrealites that were turning away from God had nothing to do with the good children that kept faith in God that were with the 10 tribes they had the word and understood that God would be with them just as we have the Word Christ Jesus and know the plan of God and when Satan comes as a false messiah we won't worship another god. truth!
  • Word on Revelation 14
Disciple the importance of Isaiah 28 is the fact that because of there idol worship the Isrealites were going into captivity and for us to remember that fact, don't play with other gods because Satan is coming at the 6th trumpet as a false messiah to deceive the whole world. I think God was speaking to the Isrealites that were turning into heathens for our benefit so we would understand.
  • William on Luke 24
This conversation between God and the disciples is divine proof that the Bible is true and that Jesus appeared in the flesh. It also proves that He rose from the dead.
  • A disciple on Psalms 7
Bill (cont.); My complaint is that you will not respond as a brother to me, not to ensure we're both right with each other, or even to explain better what I may have misunderstood. Instead you stand behind a stone wall of silence, except to attack out of the ambush! That's my perception. But what have I really written that you think is unscriptural or not of the Spirit's thoughts?
  • A disciple on Psalms 7
Bill; I have really tried to reach out to you on so many occasions; and you don't answer what I write to you! The Lord said, If your brother trespass against you, go and tell him his fault. If he repent, forgive him. If he refuses to hear, take one or two for witnesses, and rehearse in their ears. If he still won't hear, bring it before the Assembly. After that there's nothing left of brotherhood.
  • Anthony on Psalms 91
I think it is one of the most inspiring chapters in Psalms....its the go to chapter when things seem impossible or falling apart....Amazing!!!!
  • A disciple on 1 Peter 5
"Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:" A sober person is serious and thoughtful. When you are sober, you are not drunk. With respect to our manner of life as a Christian disciple of Jesus temperate or sparing in the use of anything that would benumb our conscience and our abilities of reason, sanity, or self-control. It means being led by the Spirit of God, rational, not given to excessive indulgence in drink or any other activity, which its purpose is to cause us to throw off virtue and a good conscience toward God. Vigilant means you don't take a nap on the job, or relax your sense of urgency and commitment and watchfulness.
  • Tony on Psalms 96
You have it correct, except I would add prayer....Nothing can take the place of prayer though...
That is our employment with our Lord is Praise
  • Darris Brown on Mark 8
earth is not supposed to be sin free- devil ever rules in earthly things; our bodies are a cloak not our souls; we should study bible and live not of the world but according to word of god; no sign of the everlasting will appear until end of time; treat people fairly do not cheat people out of their possessions for self exploitation and fame
  • Lottie on Psalms 23
psalms is one of my favorites, because the lord is my shepard.and i know in my soul that he watches over me.halliujah
  • John Williams on Galatians 1
I have a test question the Lord Jesus Christ revealed himself to Paul on the road to Damascus(Acts 9:1-9). After that experience Paul says that Christ is now revealed answer
  • D W on Philippians 4
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
  • Nonnie Harvey on Psalms 91
This chapter of Psalms is where I go when I am praying for my children and husband. When I was young, I had nightmares, my mother would hold me and read this passage of the Bible. Now I claim these words for peace every day. I have started reading and reciting these verses for our President and for our country. He is not a perfect man, but I am not a perfect. The only perfect man was Jesus Christ!
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 7
Our words should differ from the words and ill intentions of unsaved people.People of this world who are spiritually dead, flail about to the hurt of believers, who tire of the condition the world is in,people who will suffer infliction of sin, like as,they bring on others every day.Believers are God's witness, see God's worthiness,Jesus, our savior, died for sin. They are in peril,we live by grace, saved
  • Frank Alcamo on Revelation 22
Amazing how God orchestrated the entire Bible but especial the closing chapter is especially wonderful. I am smitten with the chapter but particularly verse 14. Jesus places all through out the Bible an emphasis on obedience. But in the final chapter there is this capstone that if we honor His word we honor Him. Only those who do the will of the Father enter into the gates of the city. Amazing.
  • Ivan - Avoid and escape are two different things. You can only escape from something that’s caught you, to avoid is to say away.
  • Smeshque on 1 Corinthians 13
God' love, is there before, during, and after it is needed. Humans often say they love, but don't exe ute what love means as in 1 Cor.13. The church wants to love like they have faith. With no works. And neither, love nor faith is executed without works. They both are action words.
  • Ann on Psalms 23
Inspiring,, Words of wisdom.. Thankyou for all and May God through Jesus our Beloved bless you and yours forever. Amen
  • Stephen B on Proverbs 9
The fear of God is best described as the note in the Scofield study Bible: A reverential trust and hatred of sin.
  • A disciple on Psalms 23
"The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want." The Lord is my Shepherd and I am His sheep. He calls me by name, and I know His voice and I follow Him. I am afraid of the voice of strangers, and run away from them. While I might not be aware of all the threats from predators or other dangers until I'm already too close my Jesus knows and sees all things, and takes care to keep me safe all the time. I don't have any way to really defend myself but Jesus is more than a match for any evil person that would want to steal me from my Master and eat me for dinner. Jesus takes care of all my needs of food and water and security and comfort and I am so blessed to have Him watching over me! I hope I make Him as happy being in His great flock, as I am to belong to Him.
  • A disciple on Ecclesiastes 10
"Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better." For the ones who have had a lifetime of selfishness and the need to be constantly validated and approved, it is an especially difficult way to learn the discipline of Christ. Some grow up in households where so-called liberal views prevail and the heathen mentality is presumed to be Natural; but God's grace is greater.
