  • Stanjett on Matthew 25
First you got to know that there was a person named Jesus. He of course is all through the bible but not only the bible but through other publications. If you have computer search and you will see that other writings about him was made by others not only the saved but of the unsaved. Most of these speak of him as a leader of a cult. Many who knew him testified of him after his death.
  • Paul Denny on Ephesians 5
I believe your question is sincere! The world were framed by the words of God. What we say can have a constructive or destructive results. There is nothing wrong in writing, you just have to make sure your narrative reflect a positive result. Always let God lead you in everything you do. Ask yourself this question, is what I write about please God. Read Proverbs 18:21. Hope this answer helps.

  • on Psalms 91
Long about 1985 I met an old Christian lady about 93 in a rest home. Her son told her a story from World War 2 about when he and several others were flying out around Hawaii and got lost and ran out of fuel and began to descend. The son began to pray Psalms 91 and a bright white light filled the plane and they miraculously made it back. One of the 5 or so people on that aircraft was Richard Nixon
  • Patti on Psalms 91
Psalms 91 truly identifies my devotion to Jesus. When I read about school shootings, terrorist attacks, etc., I am most affected by environmental destruction, animal, and children tragedies. Bless them dear Lord, send your mighty angels to protect them from harm. Amen.
  • Servant of God on Matthew 10
10/34, I am not come to send peace but a sword. Anybody literate in the bible knows that a sword is the word, which is truth! Now, truth is a rare commodity in these times, and knowing the Word is truth. In Rev, a two edged sword protrudes from Jesus' mouth, for it cuts both ways, destroying lies and establishing the truth, and the truth is from the Holy Spirit. That is the truth spoken inred
  • D W Lee on Romans 1
Jimmy - John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. --- We must believe but that alone will not save you -The devils believe.
  • Landon Lavigne on Psalms 121
Acts 2:38 Jesus wants you to know the way to His Salvation!
  • A disciple on Isaiah 48
We could fill up books on the subject of what is true conversion and of walking in truth, and yet it appears that there will always be those who simply WILL NOT receive sound words or understand their meaning; but all their thoughts are to resist the Holy Spirit. True Believers seek to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Doing what Jesus commands us to do is not flesh seeking God's glory!
  • Lovera woods on Psalms 23
  • Christ Magnified Glorifying Jesus on Deuteronomy 2
Day 48 of Bible Reading in a Year. God's Word is a story, a documentary, a novel, historical and true. It speaks of real people that God had and was showing and proving himself too. People have not changed since then. Hearing and reading His words and believing His promises requires faith. With the coming of the Spirit of Christ we can understand by faith through grace and continue in faith.
  • Dewey J on Ephesians 5
Varoojan, Gen: 26:5,6 '' And Abraham was a hundred years old....when his son Isaac was born.v6 Sarah said the Lord hath me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. Proverbs 17:22, A merry heart doth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit direth the the bones. To jest mean here to mock or belittle someone. Issac mean laughter praise GOD in the highest.
  • Lawrence Gweh on Ruth 1
    She was very faithful
  • Lynn on John 14
John 14:15 is not symbolic, it's clear and means just what it says. If you love me God keep my commandments. The first four commandments addresses our love for God. The next six spells out how we should relate to our fellow man. That's what it means by two great commandments love the Lord your God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself.
  • J on Isaiah 55
To know Him is to love Him with our ALL
  • Nathan on Revelation 4
I tell you who reads, our king is soon to come, our time of hardship is nearly over, but death is eminent for2 3rds of this wold will not make it to salvation, trust in the lord as you know him, not only that you believe, for if you have even little faith you shall move a mountain
  • Ann on Psalms 27
A, Just believe and have faith in the LORD, He will be there for you, Hebrews 13:5 says, I
will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Amen
  • A disciple on Romans 4
KH; The seal of circumcision and the circumcised heart; the sign in the flesh of the covenant; and so we henceforth, the sign in our flesh of the Covenant of Christ, that we live not after the flesh, and are markedly set apart by our manner of life and good works: very nicely put! When the Lord gives us wisdom and understanding everything fits and makes sense, showing truth eternally applicable!
  • Vicki, another meaning would be: we do you to wit (to know) of the grace of God. Amen
  • Ben Seth on Psalms 23
He is a faithful God. Call on him in time of need and He will surely come to your aid. He niether sleeps or slumbers. Giving my life to Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. May yours be better as you take that step. Psalms 23 always lifts up my spirit when i am overwhelmed.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 48
Steve Morrow; Great Scriptures! But do you know who the LORD was referring to? He was speaking to the disobedient and the defiantly hateful and hostile ones; NOT to His beloved Elect who seek to please Him with every thought word and deed, and to walk in truth and holiness before Him IN JESUS' NAME! Seeking to be holy and obedient, and preaching to others to do the same, is not of the devil!
  • Those stories of our lives happened to the people in the bible. I get a picture of what's to take place somehow.
  • Varoojan on Ephesians 5
    Regarding Epesians 5:4

It is written: Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

I'm concerned. I'm unemployed and trying to make money selling a full-length animated comedy screenplay.

My question is, would I be in contrary to God's will or word writing a comedy? (the phrase nor jesting appears in verse 5:4) Please help.
  • KH on Romans 4
It is a true blessing to be forgiven. In the full context of the passage,Paul reminds us the Abraham believed first and then was circumcised. It was his seal that he had been redeemed likewise, our works are only our seal that we have been redeemed also. We are saved only by faith and that is the blessing. May our works always show who redeemed us.
  • Billy Joe Grace on Matthew 2
    Dear Mr. Stienburg.
I honestly don't mind dissenting views, in fact, I love discussion. Especially spirited discussion, but I must ask you, why do you argue for an unprovable position amongst those with whom you disagree? Are you bored? Do you have a smidgen of faith you are ashamed of? You knew that you would be disagreed with when posting, so why did you?
  • BibleFan on Joshua 22
whew! - this was a close call - a good lesson here is to not be too quick to mistrust people's intentions. Both sides harbored mistrust of one another - one thought the other was abandoning god - the other thought they were going to be cast off by their brethren
  • A disciple on Romans 4
"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Romans 4:7 The elder Apostle John wrote, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. While we cannot change the past, we can be of the truth today and walk with a perfect heart toward God and man. What God respected about Abel and his sacrifice, was that he was a man of truth and being wholly of a good conscience and unfeigned faith, offered up sacrifice in honor and memorial of the Promise of Christ coming into the world wherein was ALL his standing and acceptance of God. While we're in this world, AS IT IS, we owe all to the Lord Jesus and what He has done to pay for our sins and set us free from them. We are blessed because we have Jesus!
  • Charley on Luke 15
