regarding psalm 86:13 "For great is thy mercy toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell" This verse has so much meaning for me because that's exactly what God did.

    HEBREW: CHAPTER 12:2

looking to Jesus the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God

Hi, The Bible, among other things is a book of prophecy, some already fulfilled, some in the process of being fulfilled and some for the future, but the fact that some have been fulfilled gives us faith to believe that they will all be fulfilled in time.

I see some of the prophecies in the book of Revelation being fulfilled around us today, amazing to think that over 2,000 years ago it was foretold that a time would come when mankind would be 'destroying the earth', (Rev:11:18), I'd suggest that my generation is the only one in mankind's history that could be accused of that, another global conference on climate change is soon to take place yet if they looked at the Bible they'd learn their actions are in vain.

We are also seeing part fulfilment of Revelation chapter 6 (the 4 horsemen), verse 6 even mentions the price of wheat and barley going up, this as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. On that subject could it be said that, 'the kings of the earth and of the whole world' (Rev:16, 14-16) are gathered there? certainly, this conflict has drawn the attention of the whole world. Interesting to remember of course that 'Armageddon' is God's war so he will be the victor.

Another point to ponder from Revelation, who is the great whore Babylon the Great? Would it be Great Britain? the British Empire was the greatest world power in human history, a Greater Babylon perhaps? It's power based on conquest in the name of 'Christianity' but promoting false teaching, slavery etc.

By way of cross reference Daniel chapter 2 verses 28-44 may be of interest, if the British Empire was the greatest in mankind's history, then it would be reasonable to presume that it would be part of the image explained by Daniel, the legs of iron perhaps? going down into the feet of a mixture of iron and clay, the Anglo/American world power? all of course to be conquered by the kingdom of God that Jesus taught his followers to pray for, only then will,'God's will be done on earth'.

This sounds like a question from a quiz or game question.

If you look up "Judged" in search bar on this site it has 3 pages of people whom "Judged " as referred to in the Bible, If you only need the names listed in Judges it appears they're all on the 1st page.

Two of my Favorite Judges were Samuel & Deborah but only one of them is mentioned in the books of Judges.

    Why do you ask?

The Jewish Sabbath has always been Saturday. It was given solely to the nation of ancient Israel. There is no such thing as a Christian Sabbath day. Nowhere in the New Testament (or Covenant) are Christians ever commanded to keep the sabbath. From Romans to Revelation, no such command is ever given to the Church. In fact, the Christians were commanded to not judge anyone concerning a sabbath day.

Romans 14:5 "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."

Galatians 4:10-11 "Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain."

Colossians 2:16 "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"

What are the names of the Judges in the book of Judges?
  • Ronald Whittemore - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Hey MariSned,

You may already know; Isaiah 63 is similar wording on the winepress. Revelation can be a lifetime study I know for me the understanding I had on some parts of Revelation years ago are different than I have today. I do not understand if the winepress/battle is where the vesture is dipped in blood is before Jesus returns. Maybe I misunderstood what you said.

Rev. 14 starts with the Lamb/Jesus standing on Mount Zion with the 144000 first fruits. I do not see Jesus going back up. Just a thought; we can learn and benefit from each other and in love and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the truth will be revealed.

    God bless your study.

Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

    Hello Gigivi80

I will encourage you to trust in what the Scriptures say about salvation in Jesus Christ and also warn you not to trust in dreams as a source of divine revelation. Duncan has spoken well to you, also.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus and His death and resurrection, I will urge you to do so immediately. There is a link on this site "How To Become a Christian" which will lead you to Scripture verses related to receiving the salvation we can have through Jesus. You could also go to the site "Got Questions" and ask "What does the Scriptures about salvation." This is a good site that gives solid biblical information.

I will pray for you tonight, Gigivi80. Let me know more about you, so I can pray more for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Savior. We ask that You will draw Gigvi80 to You through the work of Your Holy Spirit and help Gigivi80 to come to know You through your Son, Jesus. Amen.

if you want to hear him again

repent and believe in the lord Jesus Christ that he is the son of God he died on the cross for your sins and was raised om the 3rd.

and commit your self to his word and this is best explained in this bible.

    Jeremiah 29:13

13,And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    amen

We must be every careful attributing any other acts to eternal salvation. We must also be careful to understand the audience. A great error is thinking every verse is directed to ourselves. Remember Paul told timothy to be very careful and divide the word correctly. Baptism is a very deep subject, and over 10 different baptisms. i.e. water, fire, spirt etc. The only baptism we are concerned with in our present time is the one Paul spoke of. He's our example, the apostle to the gentiles.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

This one baptism is not of water (for we are not priests because Jesus is the mediator) it is done at the moment we are sealed. Unseen, and not felt.

    And when is that?

    What must be DONE?

Ac 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    Anything else?

Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    1. Believe in the heart

    2. Confess with the mouth

    3. Call on His name ( Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.)

    What are the steps?

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye HEARD the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise,

    1. Hear

    2. Believe

    3. Trust

    4. Sealed ( 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. )

The thief on the cross is a great example of Eph 1:13 in action

    Hi Giannis,

    Thank you for your reply.

What I was wandering, is that Mary was a virgin and didn't have a human father.

I guess that no one knew at that time that she was a virgin.

Then Joseph kind of Adopted Jesus so prophecy would be fulfilled.

    John 14:9

"Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"

"he that hath seen me hath seen the Father"

Anyone that has seen Jesus has seen God the Father. Amen.

Rev 19:13 - Jesus is the Word of God. And John 1:1 says "the Word was God"

1 Timothy 3:16 "God was manifest in the flesh"

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born... The mighty God..."

    Amen.

Praise God the Bible says exactly who Jesus is for ears that want to hear, for eyes that want to see.

Hi. This is a two-fold question. Was it okay that Puah and Shiphrah lied to the Pharaoh? Or was it wrong like all other lies? I know that if they hadn't lied, Moses would not have been born, but it still seems wrong.
