Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

    Hello Gigivi80

I will encourage you to trust in what the Scriptures say about salvation in Jesus Christ and also warn you not to trust in dreams as a source of divine revelation. Duncan has spoken well to you, also.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus and His death and resurrection, I will urge you to do so immediately. There is a link on this site "How To Become a Christian" which will lead you to Scripture verses related to receiving the salvation we can have through Jesus. You could also go to the site "Got Questions" and ask "What does the Scriptures about salvation." This is a good site that gives solid biblical information.

I will pray for you tonight, Gigivi80. Let me know more about you, so I can pray more for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus, Your Son and our Savior. We ask that You will draw Gigvi80 to You through the work of Your Holy Spirit and help Gigivi80 to come to know You through your Son, Jesus. Amen.

if you want to hear him again

repent and believe in the lord Jesus Christ that he is the son of God he died on the cross for your sins and was raised om the 3rd.

and commit your self to his word and this is best explained in this bible.

    Jeremiah 29:13

13,And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

    amen

We must be every careful attributing any other acts to eternal salvation. We must also be careful to understand the audience. A great error is thinking every verse is directed to ourselves. Remember Paul told timothy to be very careful and divide the word correctly. Baptism is a very deep subject, and over 10 different baptisms. i.e. water, fire, spirt etc. The only baptism we are concerned with in our present time is the one Paul spoke of. He's our example, the apostle to the gentiles.

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

This one baptism is not of water (for we are not priests because Jesus is the mediator) it is done at the moment we are sealed. Unseen, and not felt.

    And when is that?

    What must be DONE?

Ac 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

    Anything else?

Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    1. Believe in the heart

    2. Confess with the mouth

    3. Call on His name ( Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.)

    What are the steps?

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye HEARD the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise,

    1. Hear

    2. Believe

    3. Trust

    4. Sealed ( 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. )

The thief on the cross is a great example of Eph 1:13 in action

    Hi Giannis,

    Thank you for your reply.

What I was wandering, is that Mary was a virgin and didn't have a human father.

I guess that no one knew at that time that she was a virgin.

Then Joseph kind of Adopted Jesus so prophecy would be fulfilled.

    John 14:9

"Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"

"he that hath seen me hath seen the Father"

Anyone that has seen Jesus has seen God the Father. Amen.

Rev 19:13 - Jesus is the Word of God. And John 1:1 says "the Word was God"

1 Timothy 3:16 "God was manifest in the flesh"

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born... The mighty God..."

    Amen.

Praise God the Bible says exactly who Jesus is for ears that want to hear, for eyes that want to see.

Hi. This is a two-fold question. Was it okay that Puah and Shiphrah lied to the Pharaoh? Or was it wrong like all other lies? I know that if they hadn't lied, Moses would not have been born, but it still seems wrong.

Here it clearly say who Jesus Christ is. And the importance of the commandments .and clearly declare that the FATHER is greater than him 28. Take note also that another comforter will be send, because this is very tragic, the souls of everyone dies with him verses 16-20 assures the apostles.

But the Roman Empire does not want that people achieve eternal life and salvation.hence they destroyed everything and everyone in Jerusalem including the temple and put the wrong people

In reading " Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." I always wondered why his vesture was dipped in blood until I got into deep study and found he was in battle with the rebellious, those who rejected him in Rev 14:16-18 thru the winepress as they say, before He comes back for us. It was quite fascinating in my studies to find my questions answered with the help of getting verses and being able to see chapter clear and bold thru KJV bible. thanks for the online bible. I have been studying Revelation off and on for years but got serious now with all that is going on. I love it. I am doing a deep study in Revelation if anyone is interested contact me thru reply.

Ezekiel 44, Ezekiel 44:2-3, possibly the prophecy for Luke 19:28-48, Luke 21, notice Luke 21:37, Matthew 21, Mark 11, Notice Mark 11:16, Mark 12 Jesus still in the Temple Mark 13, notice Mark 13:1,3, as noted Jesus went & left, the same direction. John 10:23,

    Ezekiel 44:16,17, Revelation 7 note Revelation 7:14,15,

Ezekiel 47:1-10, healing living water, John 7:38, John 4:11,13,14, Matthew 9:35, Fishers, Ezekiel 47:9,10, Jeremiah 16:16, Matthew 4:19, Mark 1:17,

If you look at Ezekiel 1:1,2,3, they were already going into captivity as Prophesied by Isaiah 39:1-7, 2Kings 24:15, Jeremiah 52:31, before Daniel, Ezra & Nehemiah before the return & rebuilding, Ezekiel 48 - end; might have been the divine blueprint for the temple that was rebuilt before Jesus was born

    Matthew 1:17

    Hopefully these are helpful

    Hi Judy,

Ezekiel 2:9, it appears to be a messenger; "was sent", [ the word in researching is translated to " shalach" ] in Ezekiel 1:1 & Ezekiel 1:3, is GOD's hand, also similar to Revelation 10, that however is translated from greek.

    Hopefully these are helpful

    Psalm 36.

Verse 1 is admittedly a trickly passage the way it is written; sounding like the transgression of the wicked is speaking to a godly man (David) and stating that there is no fear of God before his eyes. Having seen commentaries on this subject not finding satisfactory cross references; it would seem it is stating that within my (David's) heart is testifying that the state of transgression of the wicked is due to their lack of fear of God. The next several verses talk about self gratiation (flattery-verse 2); verbal caustic language (v. 3); and plotting in his bed what he will do next (verse 4). There is a sober warning of those who become reprobate as verse 3 where apparently there was some wise or good standard for those individual(s) previously. Conversations and words seem to be a major red flag there.

Securing the mercy of God is largely indicated by the TRUST mentioned in verse 7. David asks for the "foot of pride" and "hand of the wicked" to "remove me". The concern probably is those who will cause us to find an excuse to fall away. The doom of the wicked once again is sealed in verse 12.

We do well to heed to the admonitions in James as to not letting there be a root of bitterness in us. (also see Hebrews 12:15). The love of money is the root of all evil ( 1 Tim. 6:10). We are wise to be cautious not to be ensnared by those things which plunge men into perdition which is in the verse immediately before ( 1 Tim. 6:9). We need to watch the tongue and control it as James admonishes as well ( James 3:1-12).
