Is the bible saying that all the animals were tamed one and could live in perfect harmony
  • T Seesley on Psalms 117 - 1 year ago
Maybe you are able to answer folllowing question:

In Bible it says we must be baptized in Jesus name and filled of the Holy Ghost to see the Kingdom of God. Another place says be baptized in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit.

Not sure if you are allowed to answer the question.

    Have a blessed day!

    Hey Donald Duggan,

Just something to consider; using the recorded dates of 538AD as the time when the papacy became an established power until 1798AD when the French army broke it up is 1260 years calculated on 365.25-year. In the prophecy, 42 months, 3 1/2 years, and 1260 days are based on a 30-day month and 360-day year. Would this change these dates fitting a prophecy when based on a 360-day year, would only be 1241.89 years, not 1260?

I agree there were many terrible things done by the papacy and it would be easy to equate it to this prophecy. My understanding of the tribulation is 3 1/2 years but if we consider it to be 7 and if the first half is 1260 years would not the second half be the same amount of time?

Just a thought you may consider.

    God bless,

    RLW

Hi Jacqui. In Hebrew, 'soul' (nephesh) is a feminine noun. So David is specifically referring to his soul, his inner being, that will glory/rejoice in the LORD, rather than giving the impression that his glorying is simply a mental or superficial act. In many languages, Hebrew included, the gender is not applied to the person speaking, but to the object being referred to.

Another example can be seen in Proverbs 1:20,21, "Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words". Here, Wisdom, in Hebrew, is a feminine noun, so when wisdom is revealed or spoken about, we read it in the feminine gender.

Yes, thanks for the Amos 8 reference. Also spoken of in Amos 2.

The Matthew, Mark, and Luke verses show how God loves us and stands up for us. He is our protector. PTL

Yes, seems captivity, slavery, bondage could relate to human trafficking.

I'm familiar with the break in Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 as possibility of so-called Gap Theory. Makes sense to explain when and how Lucifer fell to the earth. Also makes sense in explaining about the fallen angels (sons of God) mating with daughters of men.

And then He goes on in verse 12 to declare how he have "saved" , and have shewed, when there was no strange god among them: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
  • Baker - In Reply - 1 year ago
Being that They are one in the same, as you know. from what Im reading in Isaiah 43. God is declaring before witnesses that He had chosen and gathered that He is the one and only God, the way the truth and the light, and there is no other "savior" besides Him. It's still God the Father speaking here.

    Praise the Lord
  • Adam - In Reply - 1 year ago
Thanks, do you think Isaiah 43:11 is referring to God the Father then, and not the Jesus the Son, or the Godhead?

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour."

Since Jesus is the one and only savior as 1 John 4:14 and Acts 4:12 says, do you think its possible the uppercase LORD and savior is Jesus?
  • Starbux - In Reply on 2 Kings 2 - 1 year ago
Get water baptized in Jesus name. It is the only saving name.

Acts 2:38, " Then Peter said unto them, Repent & be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, & ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost".

Acts 2:39, " It is the promise to you and to your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord our God shall call".

Remember that Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven earlier in Matthew 16, therefore Peter is not in error.

All through the book of Acts, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, never in titles.

Matthew 28:19 is fulfilled in Acts 2:38 as it also says "in the name of". Alleluia & amen

That seems to be a subject of today that is pretty fascinating. Supposedly the seeds of the fig tree were retrieved from the jars recovered with the Dead Sea Scrolls. Speculation was/is these were the types present during the time Jesus walked in Jerusalem. The most remarkable is some people tried planting the seeds & were successfully growing them today, bringing Interest back to scriptures!! Praise God

1Corinthians 13:12, yes, it says ._. "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

There seems to be scriptures that sort of suggest that it's possible. John 11, Hebrews 12:1, following from Hebrews 11, Mark 9:2-4, Matthew 17:1-3, 1Samuel 28:15-19,

We will all give account, Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 14:12, Philippians 2:1-16, Deuteronomy 5:11, Exodus 20:7, Mark 9:39, Matthew 12:31, in context Matthew 12.

God is not The God of the dead but of the living: Matthew 22:32, Psalms 139, John 3:16, hopefully these help answer your questions

    Hello, Tsluecoop1966,

My understanding is that a Christian cannot be possessed by an evil spirit because the Holy Spirit dwells in us and is greater that any evil spirit. He is our seal and guarantee of protection from the enemy. Christians can be outwardly influenced by evil spirits, but not inwardly. Our inward self is sanctified, therefore holy, so a an evil spirit is not allowed in us.

  • Donald Duggan on Revelation 13 - 1 year ago
In Daniel 7 there are 4 beasts, if you count the heads and the horns you will get 7 heads and 10 horns. This is a pagan religious system that will influence the world the first half of the tribulation. This beast is worse than the other 3 because it has all in it. The Roman empire is the 4th but in 538 AD the holy Roman empire took over. Nobody was allowed to have any copy of any sort of Gods word or you could face death. They also had the authority to choose who would be the leader of a country. This stayed in play until 1798 when Napoleon captured the pope and put a stop to it. they ruled that way for 1260 years. So the 1260 days is actually 1260 years and that was the wound to the head. In 1923 the holy Roman empire was given a seat at the UN. It was this group when translating his name Yeshua they called him Iesous then later the English put a J on it. They changed the sabbath to Sunday instead of Saturday and created 100s of images of the sun god. Alot of people do this anyway.

Will we be known in heaven as we are known here on earth, can people see their loved ones down here on earth that are in heaven. And what is the unpardonable sin.
  • Baker - In Reply - 1 year ago
Only if you're uncovered , or unfilled : Jesus has authority over the spirit world : leave yourself uncovered , demons can walk right on in :

Ephesians 1:19 - 23 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Isn't a sin that goes un-repented in danger? there is a one sin that is unforgiven so reads Mark 3:28-29
