Anthony regardless of what has happened in the Past God can restore what has been lost but He must come First even before your Wife and Family ask Him to show you how and how to Love your Wife too like Jesus Loves us and because it's His Will for you both your Prayers will be answered. When Woman feel they are much Loved they want to give all their Love too and they want to obey. I'm Praying too.

True Adam but today Woman are taking over the Role of Pastor or Elder which means they are Teaching in Authority over Men and God warns us about this 1Cor14:34-38 1Tim2:11-13 We are equal in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:28 but our Role remains as your Helpmate. We can share God's Truth or Correct Error but only as Scripture confirms and not in Authority over Men and this is for our Protection -Grannie Annie.

Dear Netta it's good that you are wanting to read the Bible. When I first started Bible Studies I became very confused because of the Writers contridicting each other. I asked God for His Wisdom James 1:5-8 which none of us were Born with and so need Proverbs 4:5 Jesus is now Leading me into all Truth if I'm not sure I ask Him and He confirms in my Heart and by Scripture. His Truth. Blessings-Anne.

I agree. It was the Pastor who hurt me and snubbed me, but I went to church Sunday and he came to speak to me saying nothing significant. Tears came to my eyes, but I forgave him in my heart. He is a good pastor despite his demeanor and I enjoy his sermons so we will continue with our current church. Thanks for all of your posts.

ten percent and that is not open to discussion. it is very difficult in todays world to give ten percent, but the things we want to buy are dictated by communication devices around us. we don't know we don't have something until someone tells us.

a good place to start looking for answer is with your wife discuss your concerns, and read your bible with your wife, study the bible with your wife.

the physical is only momentary. we should not be thinking physical rather we should be thinking of what we can not see.

My dear no man have seen God nor herd his voice. Please let the word be true . Jesus asked , who do men say that I the son of man am. Peter said you are the Son Of God. search your bible it will tell you the reason for the virgin birth. For there is one mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus . Luke wrote in the book of acts, that Paul went straight way preaching that Jesus was the son

I love the promise that the saints shall judge the world. In all the suffering, injustice and slander by the wicked, we endure for our testimony of Christ, we will have the last Jeremiah 44:28b

How come in Acts 6:39 it says other places to look and it lists Luke 7:51 and there is no verse 51

Sit down and inform your wife that you are the head of the house in a non-confrontal way. Show her the scriptures I sent to you and discuss them. Inform her that this discussion is between husband and wife and not the pastor nor the Sunday School teacher. If she wants to make it to the Promise Land, she has to obey and submit to you otherwise it will not be good for her in the end.

Yes that is where i'm reading and my Pastor preached about in church. i had a realization that 'm not looked at that way and our Sunday School teacher is being looked at that way. I suppose to be looked at that way but because of my own envy it has caused a wall in my house. i looking and praying for scripture to help be knock down the wall. She is not doing it in lust but it still hurts

1 Corinthians 11:3 - But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ and the head of the woman is the man and the head of Christ is God. Ephesians 5:23 View whole chapter See verse in context For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Savior of the body. Read the whole chapter because Paul is addressing the Israelites who needed this same info

Hi Anthony, I want to clarify who your wife looks up to: God, or a teacher of the class? And specifically does 'look up to' mean in this context? Respect? Admire on a spiritual level? Covet? Idolize? The first two are positive and the last two are negative and sinful, so it helps to know specifically before offering suggestions. Exodus 20:17 Have you respected or admired others before or now? Should that make your wife jealous? Obviously there should be physical boundaries too in a marriage so that people aren't alone with members of the opposite sex in a room, etc, but provided that barriers is there, and mutual trust is there, the Word says there's no fear in love. 1 John 4:18

I was Thankful Ruben to hear before that you believe in the Trinity sadly those who reject Jesus' Divinity are worshiping a god of their own understanding and it shows they don't have The Holy Spirit yet. I never said that you belonged to a Cult but that what you shared was what they believe too about Christmas and Easter but they are confirmed in Scripture as we Christians remember them - Anne.

We ought to obey God rather than man. Jesus came to fulfill the law, to satisfy the law requiring blood sacrifice for sins. He did not come to destroy the law. Should we throw out other principles that God gave man such as Thou shalt not lie, steal, commit murder, etc. The tithe was to honor God with the first fruits of all our time, talent and treasures. God gave to us, we should give back.

  • Vanessa - in Reply on Romans 11
Paul was speaking of the Olive tree which began with Abraham a promise again made by God to him that he would deliver his people the Jew , who bragged about being God's chosen and we gentiles were heathens without God this is what he is referring to here. we are grafted in because of their boasting and denying of Christ . Luke 16:22-25 shows who Abraham was and do not call him unclean, God's heart
  • Catherine Hazur on 2 Kings 1
We must become aware of the worldly things that we have in our lives that we are holding onto that oppose obedience to God, and run contrary to what he is telling us to do. If we persist, we are given over to and grow in doublemindedness: becoming SO EARTHLY MINDED THAT WE ARE NO HEAVENLY GOOD.
  • Adam - in Reply on Psalms 11
I agree that those in church leadership should have higher standards. The Bible gives such examples of standards for those qualified to become elders of church. 1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4.
  • Eric - in Reply on Romans 11
Salvation to mankind was first foretold by God Himself in Genesis 3:15. There was no Abraham at that time. Abraham was a Chaldean a pagan but chosen by God to be the root in the lineage of Christ coming. But the Isralites rejected Christ and for their unbelief they were cut off. We were grafted in because of believing in God as John 1:12 says, we became the children of God.

I've talked to people who do not like v. 6. They have listened to other religionists who have a spin on the scripture, not of God. That which NB it says is as it means. Believe.

Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall NEVER die....Such a powerful statement. Thank you, Jesus, for your Free Gift of Eternal Life. By Grace through Faith, not of yourselves lest any man should boast. Jesus plus nothing else. Perfected Forever.
