Mishael - I agree and non GMO seeds are the way to go. What the Lord created is right and not what mankind / satan messes with and destroys. right now it is very difficult to find places that even have seeds for sale and non gmo also.

Hosstools has seeds in stock and you can ask them about gmo. anything that says Heirloom means non gmo. they have lots of heirloom products. My old sources for seeds are either sold out or only selling to commercial concerns.

Things are bad and shall get worse. Any nation that tolerates the church of satan in their midst deserves what she is going to get. The US military has chaplains for the church of satan. I suppose their "gospel" is just be yourself....

I think Greg is wrong here. I think it was as simple as it reads when Ham barges in on a drunk and naked Noah and his other sons walk in respectfully backwards and cover him up. No mention of Mrs Noah so best not to add to scripture and paint a wrong picture. Virtually no people on earth and poor Noah still can't get a bit of privacy.
  • Mishael - in Reply on Genesis 11
    Bob,

I agree. Seeds do sound more valuable than gold or silver. It makes me wonder now, if it's possible to obtain non-gmo seeds? I'll have to check that out.

    Pond water purification machines.

It's going to be real hard for people to get medications they're going to need. We don't have the knowledge to look for plants that are medicinal. Folk medicine.

The other side of this is why not skip silly plans to survive the wholesale destruction of humans who refuse to worship Antichrist?

They're just living moment to moment.

People don't want to believe that God is going forth with end time plans. They just don't think about anything eternal.

I'm just praying that in heaven there will be no memory of all those that chose death, rather than life everlasting.

I guess the time to grieve is now. Maybe we'll be strong and preach Life to our families now.

It's hard to see crowds of hundreds of people rioting and know one day their voices will turn to weeping and regret. Too late to do anything.

The police that Antichrist employs won't care what their issues are. They'll have real bullets and use them. Those people are as blinded and deafened as the Jews that believe there is no way that God will abandon them to their choices. I believe the 144,000 will preach salvation and then that's the end of striving to save chronic unbelievers.

I want to be at the Wedding Supper of the Son of God! No more tears and painful heartache of loss. I want to hold my grandma's hand and my parents. My whole life has been defined by helping the helpless. My spirit yearns for release to live in joy and freedom.

Hard to say if Abram was being a faithless chicken or being lead by God here. I think he would have been OK if he didn't lie about Sarai as God would have somehow shielded him anyway, but fear is a very human trait even in great men and in the end God took a bad situation and made it a good one as he does for all of us who love him.

The thing that makes the bible so special, is that it doesn't mask or hide the weaknesses of the heros in it. They are just people like us, frail and vulnerable and making many mistakes as we make our journey toward heaven and rely on our Lord to help us.
  • Bob - in Reply on Genesis 9
Don't over read scripture, Noah was drunk and alone in his tent. His boys walked backward and covered him up . The wife was nowhere around. In a world with virtually no people Noah still couldn't get some privacy. The wine can make you say things you may regret.

what's going on around us is for a reason,we have slow down spending time with god and made time for everthing else...

so this pandemic is here now. i can't speak for no one but myself it truely got my attention. i had to repent and start my first work over..I'm getting back focus. god is calling for his people to repent and go back serving only him. but with all of this going on it is bringing families back together and getting back in touch with love ones and loving and caring again...so something postive has come out of this.at times i just go off and pray and cry out for mercy for the world.it can be depressing at times because we as a nation is not use to this new normal... people of god it's time to repent and pray for the world...be blessed and stay healthy ....GOD BLESS EVERYONE...

Why is it so important to get married? Who has to marry a couple for it to be right with God?
  • Bob Hilt - in Reply on Genesis 9
I am not claiming anything, just pointing out the silence on the Bible on who is the wife of Noah.

possibly this was Ham's stepmom is all. Of course it could be his mother, just the Bible is silent on the exact specifics is all.
  • Bob Hilt - in Reply on Genesis 28:12
Ask this group where they have authority to do this in the Bible.

Sounds more like familiar spirits and witchcraft which is forbidden.

You could ask them to renounce Satan.

Ask if Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and do they serve him as Lord.

    an answer would be interesting

I am reading some very disturbing things lately. They are regarding the Catholic church. I was born and raised a Catholic. I pray to God daily, I thank the Lord daily for my many blessings that have been given to me. I talk to God daily, asking for guidance, forgiveness and protection upon my family, friends and this world.

But upon reading some of the things that have been floating out and around, stating that Catholics are a false church, anti-christ etc. It has me rather unsettled to read such things. My mother came from a devout Catholic home. How could something so beautiful, a devout relationship with the Lord, God be painted in such a horrible way?

Looking for some insight, to settle my soul.

    Thank you,

    Teresa

According to the bible, you wouldn't be considered married to your husband, because of the adultery on your end. Your adultery freed him from his oath.

Matthew 19:9 - And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Therefore, avoid fornication on both parts, you both will need to stay single in purity or remarry each other.
  • Quesha - replying to Sandra - in Reply on Hosea 6
Yes, the Lord will forgive you. But, repentance is more than a prayer, it's a lifestyle. You must continually turn away from a lifestyle of sin. If your ex-husband was mean to you before, given the circumstances, that may not change. In God's eyes, I believe you are still married to him. However, you left him for a reason. I wouldn't go back to that type of bondage. As someone mention earlier, you can help him in other ways. You don't have to sleep in the same bed or be intimate with him. You can stay separated, but you will not have rights to remarry while your ex-husband is living. My recommendation is to regard purity.

    Charles Jordan,

    Concerning the word NEPHILIM

The word "giants" (Genesis 6:4) is the English transliteration of the Hebrew word "nephiyl" (Strong's #5303) and means; a feller, a bully or tyrant- a giant.

This word "nephiyl" is a derivative of the primitive root "naphal" (Strong's #5307) and means; to FALL (in a great variety of applications), and is used in Scripture for the following words:

cast down- (fallen angels) look at the book of Jude

    cease

die- (what Satan and the angels are guaranteed of)

    fall away

fugitive- (Cain, product of Satan and Eve)

(cause to) lie down- (Satan and Eve in the Garden)

    lying

    overthrow

    (make to) rot

    slay

    throw down:

It is now PLAIN TO SEE that the progenitors of the giants were the angels.

The Hebrew language is the language of God.

Hebrew is the language God used to form heaven and earth and everything into existence.

    "and God SAID" (Genesis 1:3)

Hebrew is the only language on the planet that is both phonetic and pictorial.

The Hebrew number system is contained within it's 22 letter aleph-bet.

Learning Biblical Hebrew = a deeper understanding of Scripture.

    Herman Dcouto,

Jesus died on what we call Wednesday just before sundown.

Wednesday sundown to Thursday sundown = 1 day (first night and day in the tomb)

Thursday sundown to Friday sundown = 1 day (second night and day in the tomb)

Friday sundown to Saturday sundown = 1 day (third night and day in the tomb)

Mary came to the sepulchre at daybreak Sunday.

    Look at Matthew 12:40.

Jesus rose at some time between Saturday sundown and Sunday morning.

The "high day" of John 19:31 was the first day of the feast (Passover), and is considered a high holy Sabbath day.

The first day of the Feast was a Thursday (15th day of Nisan- April 3/4). The 15th day of Nisan commenced at sunset on what we would still call the 14th.

Jesus was crucified on the 14th, the "preparation day" (John 19:31), and by law the crucified bodies should not remain on the cross on a Sabbath day. Jesus was put in the tomb before sunset on Wednesday the 14th.

The "first day of the week" (Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:1-2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1-), the day of the Resurrection, was from our Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset.

Jesus was to be the Lamb slain, and His crucifixion took place on the "preparation day" (John 19:14) when all lambs were slaughtered for the great Passover Feast the NEXT day.

The Last Supper DID NOT take place on the day of Passover, look at Matthew 27:62, Mark 15:42, Luke 23:54, John 19:14, John 19:31-42.

The "third day" of Matthew 16:21 is not the third day of the great Feast, but the third day of our Lord and Savior being in the tomb.

The Hebrew calendar used at the time of Jesus counted a full day from sunset to sunset, not midnight to midnight.

The Hebrew 24 hour period of time is broken up into two 12 hour segments. The first segment is from 6 pm until 6 am. The second segment is from 6 am until 6 pm.

The "third hour" of the day in Mark 15:25 when Christ was crucified is 9 am

The "ninth hour" when He gave up the ghost is 3 pm.

In Hebrews, Paul speaks to his own. These days, where our world is in danger of imploding on itself for pestilence and racial warfare, corruption of our government, in part facilitated by right wing Christians and their weeping for donation preachers. To whom shall we turn for truth, for our daily bread? I find that there is noone. Of course, all on this site say it's Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. That does me no good. Born again is any empty cliche! But I do read the bible religously and am comforted by God, El Shaddai, my creator who sits in Zion and is a God of Gods. His Son's are those who obey the Pact, which He spoke to Moses in the dessert. He is both Creator and Destroyer. He requires obedience un questioned and rewards accordingly.

    Truth in the Scripture

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If ANY man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And WHOSOEVER will, let him take the water of life freely.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

So, I suppose that's why Paul encouraged believers not to judge one another over various matters (Colossians 2:16) which are a shadow of things to come, as each one led by the Spirit does according to his belief & conviction. So, No, I don't ascribe to the 10 Commandments, but His Spirit in me I know takes me far beyond them & to all who are led of the Spirit of God.

And by the way, which calendar do you follow & how does that impact in your daily life?

Also, Colossians 2:14 & Ephesians 2:15: the Gk is 'dogmasin', meaning 'an opinion, or a public decree': a little open-ended.

May the Lord help us in the study of His Word & I appreciate your time.

    g. what then is the response to those who require obedience to God's Laws (for both Jew & Gentile) & also to enjoy Christ's salvation? If we keep the Law, then we are bound to it & its demands (Js 2:10). If we belong to Christ through His Gift of Salvation, then we are bound to His Spirit Who imputes God's Laws in our hearts. Romans 8:1-5: I see the key words here (as pertaining to our discussion) as "the righteousness of the Law" (v4).

Someone has said that there were 600 Laws given for the Jews to obey. I agree that the Law is no way negated or abolished, but the whole essence of that Law, was to bring guilt & condemnation so that Israel might look to God in faith knowing that their ability to keep the Law failed before God. And now, that same Law, but no longer by the letter, is imputed into the believers' hearts enabling them to know, understand & obey them by the guidance & power of the Spirit. Will it still be the 10 Commandments for us to obey? What sayeth the Spirit of God to our hearts? Surely it will be the righteousness of the Law, that which surmounts the letter. Just as the Jew knew the Law forbad adultery, but that Law didn't stop him from what Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5:28. Jesus spoke of the Law's righteousness, & this Law is in our hearts that we might be convicted of it. The Jew knew that the Sabbath was Holy with its requirements: the Spirit speaks of the blessed rest we have in Christ, one now for those who have come to Christ (Matthew 11:28,29), & the rest yet to come (Hebrews 4:1-11).
  • Chris - in Reply on James 1
Hi again Greg & thanks for your input & trouble you've taken over this very important subject. While our travels are restricted because of this pandemic & being in retirement, I find that I can give some 'extra' time to valuable discussions such as these, as it also helps me focus on specific Scriptures which I might have ordinarily glossed over.

Again, you've raised a number of questions worthy for thought but I will focus on the foundational aspect on which I base my belief & premise: Is the Christian commanded or obliged to keep the Law?

    a. to whom was the Law given? Only to God's elect, Israel: (Leviticus 26:46).

    b. why was it given? For their good (Deuteronomy 10:13); to reveal Himself to His people (Leviticus 19:2, Deuteronomy 31:12,13); to set Israel apart (sanctify them) as a witness to other nations (Leviticus 20:8, Deuteronomy 28:1, 9-10); and to reveal humanity's need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20, 7:7, 8:3,4).

    c. did not Jesus obey the Law? As a Jew, He fulfilled it perfectly (Matthew 5:17) & the Law will remain unchanged till it reaches its intended purpose (v 18).

    d. if that is so, then why did Jesus have to come & give His life for mankind? What the Law was unable to do, only Christ could do (Romans 8:3).

    e. then what did Christ's sacrifice do to the Law? To those who still keep the Law, they have to obey it perfectly, or be guilty of all (Js 2:10). To those who are convinced that they are guilty under the law, find forgiveness by faith in Christ, apart from the Law (Romans 3:28).

    f. can a Christian then still be under (keep) the Law (putting himself under Jewish Law) & have salvation through Christ's Blood? Impossible, for the Law could only reveal one's sin which lead to death. But now all who are in Christ (Jew & Gentile) are delivered from that law of death, believing & serving God in the spirit & not according to the letter (Romans 7:5,6).

    Bob Hilt,

I am unaware of any more than one wife of Noah.

Scripture states that Noah and his "wife" (Genesis 7:7, 13) went into the Ark.

Specifically 8 (Adamic) souls were saved upon the Ark (1 Peter 3:20).

That would be Noah, his wife, their 3 sons, and the three sons wives.

Is there any Scripture to back up what you are claiming?

It is clear that we are fighting a spiritual war against enemies who are far greater in numbers, intelligence, subtlety, and power than Israel had to wage war against in terms of the Amalekites, the Moabites, and so forth. In addition, our enemy is invisible."Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."

    Bob Grove,

Fornication is not just pre-marital sex.

Where did you find your definition or understanding of this word?

Fornication is the Greek word "porneia" and means "sexual immorality, MARITAL UNFAITHFULNESS, prostitution, adultery; a general term for sexual sin of any king. (Strong's #4202).

Bob, do yourself a favor if you care to understand Scripture correctly. Get yourself a Bible Concordance, which is a Hebrew and Greek dictionary of all words in the Bible.
