  • Bruce Wayne on Proverbs 8
this chapter is about God's 10 commandments, God and finding my Lord Jesus Christ. Wisdom in the high places, door ways, posts and gates; this is how the 10 commandments of God were to be displayed. Who ever findeth me findeth life... this is Jesus, and finds favor with the LORD...this is God the Father. LORD=God, Lord=Jesus.
  • Bruce Wayne on Proverbs 7
This entire chapter is about knowing the Word of God, keeping his 10 Commandments and the apostate church which leads to hell...many. If you know the Word of God, keep his 10 Commandments then these things will keep you from the strange woman (church).
  • Leigh on Genesis 32
@Ren I was wondering the same thing. God cannot lie but there are times when He has repented or changed His mind. I think that Jacob was ecstatic that he had seen the face of God and lived to tell about it.
  • Bruce Wayne on Romans 6
Will, look at 1 John Chapter 3. Sin is a transgression of the Law (Law of God that is: His 10 commandments). If you continue in transgression of the Law then you continue serving sin. If you obey his 10 commandments you serve God. Psalms 89:34, God said he would never alter the very thing that came from his lips...from his very lips came his 10 commandments-See Exodus 20.
  • Leigh on Genesis 31

  • Quansto on Matthew 16
Peter clearly identified who Jesus was in verse 16 you are the the SON of the living God. Jesus wanted them to understand that because of all the rumors going around at that time much like our day.
  • A disciple on Matthew 11
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." This life is hard, and can be so ugly and unfair: we have just in our own little existence toil and sorrow, sickness and death, and grief and remorse and very little happy times to fall back on in our memories. Jesus spent three quarters of His time healing the sick and seeking to relieve the poor of their suffering and miseries. Many selfish and well off, never in trouble, pretending Christians, pontificate about walking in faith and not by sight but have no idea where to start to really feel what its like. But Jesus knows all about us, and all about our troubles in life and He is there for us ALWAYS! But we have our part to call upon Him and really let Him be our Protector. "How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her chickens under the wing and you would not!"
  • BSP on Genesis 3
Verses 5-7~Notice how many times the eyes were mentioned in these verses. A disastrous course often starts with the eyes so we must guard what we look at and watch.
  • Quansto on Genesis 2
Hi Carol the fruit was unknown the Bible doesn’t say but the whole point was not the contents of the fruit that opened their eyes it was when they sinned for the first time. They realize they had went against gods universal sovereignty and tasted sin

  • Tanya on Revelation 5

  • A disciple on Ruth 4
David; The House of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the Commonwealth! The Gentiles (Japheth) are blessed to dwell in the Tents of Shem, whose is the LORD God. The innumerable multitudes of the nations of the saved are made near by the blood of Christ, which has broken down the WALL that before divided the Jews and Gentiles. In Christ that wall is taken away but all will still have their own countries.
  • A disciple on Genesis 4
Hi Jeff; In Genesis 5 we can read exactly how long every one of the holy ancients lived, and also add up exactly the years till the flood; 1656. Now while it may cause some to stumble through unbelief, how anyone could live nearly a thousand years; remember what Jesus told Peter in John 21; If I will that he (John) tarry till I come, what is that to thee? You follow me! God is the Master of life!
  • A disciple on Matthew 1
Kurt; There were many things that happened both around the birth of John the Baptist, and the Lord Jesus Christ; as we read in the Books of Matthew and Luke; that make it clear many people were hearing about these things which were announced by angels and shepherds and all the friends and relatives of Zechariah and Elisabeth, Herod and all the scribes and priests and the Persian Astrologers, Anna!
  • Verse 9~We want to be so careful to avoid stumbling others that even our right to choose, if it would stumble someone, we wouldn’t exercise that right.
  • A disciple on Genesis 2
"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." God named it thus because that's what it was. What happened when they ate from it? "Their eyes were opened and they knew that they were naked." So God asked, "Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten of the tree that I commanded you not to eat?" THINK
  • Verse 25~We need mutual concern for one another. Literally the Greek says “to be anxious over one another.”
  • BSP on Hebrews 6
Verse 5~Paul used the word taste and taste is something very personal. Someone can’t taste something for us. We must personalize the ransom for ourselves. We have the ransom because bad things were happening to us as the offspring of Adam and Eve. Jehovah sees the bad things that happen to good people and he has given what is needed to correct it.
  • BSP on Mark 10
Verses 1, 2, 10, 13, 17~Jesus was approachable. We must do our best to develop this quality. We want to be accessible. Maintain warm, joyful, and friendly facial expressions.

  • BSP on Ephesians 4
Verses 15,16~Jehovah God organizes his people from the head (from Christ) and they are joined together like the fingers are joined to the palm and then the palm to the wrist. As individual members we must give what is needed on our part and do what is required.
  • Verses 14-18~In Jehovah God's organization each of the members have a different ministry. There should be no division in the body, it cooperates as each member performs his or her part.
