America is end time Israel where the gathering of his people is taking place. It is the only Nation that fulfills the prophecy to Abraham. Most of his people reside in the Christian Churches and are being called out, leaving in droves. Come out of her (the Babylonian whore) my people!)

  • Carleton - in Reply on Proverbs 13
Good morning all! The best inheritance that one can can leave is a witness of the truth in their children and grandchildren and for some great grand children. When I witnessed my two older children (a year apart in time) transformation from their old walk to a new walk within hours it was like watching a miracle in a day take place. Where there was no peace, there was peace, where they were kicking against the pricks there was quietness. When this experience happens the parents have completed their primary responsibility in the home. The children will then be guided by the Holy Spirit in their season of bringing forth fruit. We as Christians like to think of everyone else instead of our own homes and our own children and our own fleshly fears. Parents should teach children while they can by example in stewardship in economics and preferring those who have authority over them. This is the Kingdom of Christ in earth, it's reign is now, it's blessings are now and full thankfulness is now, love is now, peace is now, hope in eternal life is now, loving our neighbor is now, teaching the Truth is now. God will make a way for his lambs without having to defend themselves by violence and without harsh word and without spiritual lascivious acts with the unbelieving world.

Children are a witness for us or against us in our very practices of what we believe as Christians.

  • Alex on Exodus 3
Alex Comments about Christ exactly y he was flesh and blood. Jesus said b/f abraham was i am he only took on flesh and blood to die for the sins of the world, without being flesh and blood he cd not be the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world but some ppl are too stupid to see that and they make all kinds of derogatory remarks about his flesh not realizing that he had to be flesh and blood to die for the sins of the world. When he said b/f abraham was i am. He was SPIRIT JUST LIKE HIS FATHER IS SPIRIT. And when he will go forth to sow his seed his children are spirits thats ye he is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit, Thats the H.G. HIS OFFSPRING . Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my NAME receiveth me. In my name implies he is the father of the H.G. He said the father will send the H.G. in MY NAME ( HIS WORD/SEED ETC ) meaning his offspring THATS Y iSAIAH is saying behold me and the Children the lord has given me. Jesus describes the H.G AS THE CHILD THAT IS GONA LEAD US INTO ALL TRUTH THE ANNOINTING. The H.G. IS a living being that comes from his seed sown in our hearts and minds simply b/c his words are living beings thats y he has to know us. gestation in the spritual realm thats y he always refers to himself as the SON of MAN. They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin, He has a seed sow in humanity. It was the Father that said that every thing has to multiply after its kind, and Jesus does not sow mans seed he sows the word the very seed of God unto whom the word came it made them Gods, he multiplies after the God kind, THATS 1 OF THE WAYS WE KNOW HE IS GOD THE SON IS B/C OF HIS SEED, THE LIVINGWORD. Not the writen word but the living word, The written word cannot initiate a birth simply b/c there is no seed potential in paper and ink th written WORD BUT THERE IS SEED POTENTIAL IN THE LIVING WORD, Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed, even by the word of God that liveth and abideth forever Spirit and life .gbu

I do not understand Deuteronomy 6:8 where it says: And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,....

I need help and clarification on how to: "bind them for a sign upon thine hand.

Any help would be appreciated. God Bless.

Carleton... You are making something up that I did not say nor imply, and you know it. A twelve year old is a child and has no say in the voting process until he/she comes of age. I'm referring to adult Christians who have the ability to fight against evil in our land, yet sit back and watch evil have its way. What you call nonsense and a grave error I call our moral and Christian responsibility. Apparently, we have nothing more to say, so please don't waste your time nor mine by responding, as we're obviously never going to agree on this subject. With that said, good bye.
  • Chris - in Reply on Revelation 20
Probably you've heard that Jesus is God incarnate, i.e. God come in the flesh. We believe in the one God, the Creator of all things, the Holy One of Israel. Beside Him there is no other god. God in His Eternal Existence reveals Himself to man as the Word of God & the Spirit of God. And this God in His Fullness (i.e. His Deity) we read in 1 John 5:7: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

In Galatians 4:4, 5: "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons." So, God Himself by His Word came to His people. You remember how God had given his words to Israel by the mouth of the prophets?

Those days have now finished for God did something new: (Hebrews 1:1-3), "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high".

God, the Word, was made man & He would be called Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14) & "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23). "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21).

Not only did God appoint His Son (His Word in the Flesh) to bring His Message, but also to give His Life for our sins. As Thomas finally exclaimed, "My Lord and my God" & he wasn't rebuked by Jesus.
  • Andy G van den Berg on Romans 8:24
    On Romans 8:15

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein (1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' (John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week (Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ (Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Galatians 4:8; Revelation 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters (Romans 8:15,23; 2 Corinthians 6:18; Galatians 4:5; Ephesians 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived (Revelation 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you (Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ (Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Galatians 1:16; Ephesians 3:3,5; Revelation 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14).

Comments by Alex about y Jesus was water baptised,it goes back to the O.T. Moses had said if a house has a leprosy or a scall it wd have to be washed with with the blood of a dove. The priest wd have to take 2 turtle doves and wash them by running water but 1 wd have to be a sacrificial dove and be killed and his blood sprinkled on the living bird which is the Church,Christ was our sacrificial dove thats y the dove descended on Jesus.Turtle doves are lovers just like Christ and the CHURCH are lovers.Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it ( the sacrificial dove ) . In Song of Solomon the 2 lovers are Christ and the Church but they refer to each other as having Doves EYES,Christ and his disciples answer to the 2 turtle doves that had to be washed by running water th Jordan was running water,John th bap. answers to the Hi Priest that was of the tribe of Levi, he did the baptism th washing. Song of solomon says while the king sits at his table my spicknard sends for as sweet smell, We are all in the house of Simon the leper we all are unclean but jESUS answers to the sacrificial dove that wd have to be killed and his blood sprinkled on the living bird th Church. Thats y JESUS was water baptised he answers to the sacrificial dove, thats y that dove descended on JESUS, AS TH SACRIFICIAL DOVE HE HAD TO BE WASHED BY RUNNING WATER, THE JORDAN WAS RUNNING WATER.All the disciples answer to the CHURCH THE LIVING BIRD THAT WAS SET FREE,Whom the son sets free is free indeed. But Jesus knew that they had all been water baptised But he tells them if i WASH thee not you will have no part with me which speaks volumes of a greater baptism coming with his blood the CROSS,you are made clean by the WORD i have spoken unto you. He tells his own disciples that had been water baptised, If I wash thee not you will have NO part with me. Which is H.G. BAPTISM, Even in the time of Moses without the shedding of blood there can be no remission Sin. Th Cross

  • Jesus Baptised by John the Baptist WHY - in Reply on Matthew 3
    Matthew 3:13-17

This was prophesy being fulfilled From the Old Testament.

Jesus was saying: let all righteousness be fulfilled.

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

In the New Testament, they didn't always have water around to baptize new believers.

Some were water baptized, and others were not.

For some people it's a church and family celebration when someone is saved and wants to be baptized with their family around.

I came out of the occult and was born again. I had so much persecution by demonic spirits that tried to discourage me in mean ways. I went into a church and requested to be baptized to show Jesus I was serious about following Him only; and to show the demons that I had made my choice!!

If you don't furnish your spiritual house with the Bible every day... the demons come back to see if you're vulnerable.

Some of us need kindness and assurance that we are accepted into the family of faith.

A little Baptist woman held my hand and told me about 50 times, I was forgiven.

    Don't judge.
  • Proverbs 1322 Commentary - in Reply on Proverbs 13
    Proverbs 13:22

We need to leave our children an inheritance of godliness and wisdom as well as one that we can financially. Without this our children will suffer far worse than if they miss a few luxuries according to the dictates of society. There are those who will have wealth, but may spend eterntiy in abject poverty in hell when they die. This is no inheritance that you want to pass on to your family. If we leave them with wisdom and with knowledge of the Word and of their Savior Jesus Christ - they will be rich for eternity - even if they don't live on the upper east side in this life.

The wicked will leave their wealth to the righteous. This means that although they live wealthy for the few years of this life, they will eventually die and leave all of it to others. Since they have lived for wickedness, their children will most likely waste their wealth and have it transfer to those who use wise principles in how they do business. These are those who are godly and good in their business as well as their daily lives.

There is something that we desperately need to leave to our children and their children. It is a good thing if we can leave them an inheritance that will help them afford a home or other things financially. But more importantly is to leave them with an inheritance in the things of the Lord. This is something that can never be lost. God promised that a godly man can touch thousands over the lives of his children and grandchildren. But to do so we need to be willing to invest, not just in stocks and bonds - but in a godly heritage that will take a lifetime to develop and prepare for our families.

All politicians have their speeches out there on Youtube. There's no reason to be in the dark on issues.

After the caught up in the clouds (rapture), and the Antichrist is revealed.....THERE WILL BE NO VOTING anymore period. He has his agenda, and doesn't give a flying kite what people think.

If you miss out being born again and raptured; you'll have to take the Mark of the Beast (at some point; maybe weeks, maybe months?) to buy food, water; etc. But you will lose your soul at the end.

There will no government then. Antichrist will rule the world. The economies, the food supply, religion, and he will have his own armies to monitor and control people left behind. There may be internet or tv until the time when the two Witnesses are murdered by Antichrist. You may have to take the mark to have Internet?

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way when these events occur. He'll still be here for those that want to be born again; but He cannot save your body. You'll survive miraculously, or you'll be decapitated for not taking the mark of the Beast or worshipping Antichrist.

I was given a vision one day while the quarantine was just starting. I was shown at least 7 different experiences each more complex than the last, until I was only a blue glow in a colorless realm that even without color it was still light and endless. I talked to the one who was there as if we had a relationship. When I first entered the higher realms as I was lifted out of my body i heard my voice and felt the emotions behind the words as of my senses were acting independently of one another and I was my ears for a bit, but the white one did not speak like we do it was more than that. During the event I did not experience time as I went from one dimension to the next, 90% of what occurred im not sure how to say or if I should even.. but I was allowed to play with raw elements in the last stage in my blue form. It was apparently a lot of fun, until I began to move continuously faster in time until the one cloaked in white grabbed me and we went back down. As I glided back down from the cloud level I looked back up to say bye or something, it was only then was the heavy white hood was removed leaving me gazing into the face of a beautiful woman with eyes and features ive never known a human to possess. She was more than i ever dreamed I'd see on earth, she was closer to a light skinned anime character. There was so much more.. only known by traveling outside the physical world into the spiritual. I came back as a whole new person totally clean and after my spirit got re acclimated to the body and my mind started back up i was experiencing time loops like I instantly began writing my experiences in my journal but after I wrote what felt like a paragraph or 2 I would awake to writing the same sentences over and over. Uhmm I forgot what my point was but maybe since I was aware during and can recall things that make sense even now maybe it was important. As you would have read from the previous chapter (Genesis 18) that the Lord God appeared to Abraham by the visit of three men. Their purpose was to announce that Sarah would bear a child in her old age (v 10) & the sins of Sodom & Gomorrah had come before the Lord (vv 20-22).

Then in Genesis 19, we read of two angels who visit Sodom & their visit is directly connected to the events of Genesis 18. Lot invites these men of God to his house & later the wicked men of Sodom come banging on Lot's door. Lot pleads with them that these are his visitors & not to harm them. But they replied to Lot, "You came to live amongst us & you now want to tell us what to do?" So, they were speaking to Lot's coming to live with them & no one else. But as far as the angels visiting Lot, they were God's messengers to deliver this indictment against the cities & to rescue Lot, his wife & two daughters. Some believe that Jesus was one of the angels but there's nothing to indicate that this was a Christophany but simply God's messengers to warn Lot.

After you find your scripture, click on it and it is highlighted yellow.

It takes a little use to get used to it. It's helpful to read all scriptures written on a certain subject, such as baptism or the "caught up" (rapture) event, or the Bema Seat Judgement of Christ.

I would understand Proverbs 13:22 as describing the worth of a 'good man'. Of course, he, as a husband & father, has to also demonstrate good, godly attributes to his family & those around him, but he should also be one that considers his family after he passes away. I realize that today it would be hard for many to leave much inheritance to their children, let alone their grand children, but the focus in this verse, is on the man who first gives every consideration to his family - unlike the sinner (opposite to the good man), whose "wealth will be distributed to those better than he."
  • KTEMP- That is right! The African American descendants of slaves living today are most certainly the chosen lineage through which the Messiah came. The Spirit has been speaking to me about this so strongly. They were enslaved in America in 1619 and the 400 years that always signifies deliverance of God's people was in 2019. 2020 marks a year of deliverance. Rapture could be that deliverance. I knew they were special because they have been persecuted and afflicted everywhere they go. God bless them! Their inheritance is great!

    c. Lastly, on KJV worshippers. Personally, I don't consider myself as such but do admit in taking the KJV translation very seriously simply because of my desire to not err when reading & understanding both the historical & spiritual message of God's Word to mankind. Since this is such an important matter to us: after all we didn't ask to be born, but we're here now & only have threescore & ten years or so to live on this Earth & therefore must be prepared for eternity in a relatively short time, I would hope that each person who believes in the afterlife & accountability to their Creator, would want to ensure that the message to them comes from the most reliable source. And though I'm heavily reliant on those who have studied this matter of the veracity of the many Bible translations we have as well as on those learned folk who've gathered & translated from the original texts, I have to, in all good conscience, accept the translation I deem correct & in harmony with all Scripture. I never implore anyone who reads from another translation to switch to the KJV, but would be prepared to defend the words & truths contained therein. I think in this day & age, when God-consciousness & accountability has been replaced with temporal unsatisfactory worldly offerings, if anyone insists reading from another version, I would be so grateful that he takes that road rather than dwell in ignorance.

    b. Actually, those missionaries involved in Bible Translation work can use the KJV in their projects. I'm familiar with the ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators knowing a few (now, elderly) folk still involved in some way with their target people group. In many cases, where there is no script for them to work with, these translators have to also develop a script, along with learning the language - no easy task & a work that can go on for decades before the Word is produced in the tribes' language. So, in your example of a people group unfamiliar with 'snow or the feeling of cold', the translators have to develop another word or imagery that conveys the meaning. So, in fact, there would be Bibles produced for such folk that vary markedly from what we have now in English, simply because biblical Truths need to be conveyed to the sacrifice of the original, accurate words. So, Exodus 4:6 "leprous as snow" could be translated "a sickness turning your skin as the colour of the clouds". Or, Proverbs 25:13 "As the cold of snow in the time of harvest" could be translated "as a refreshing drink in summertime".

Dr. Burgess, thank you for your questions regarding the great value we place of the KJV Bible. As you will understand, I can't give you a full answer here as it would go well beyond the limitations of such a Site as this, but you no doubt, would have already done some other research. As well, we don't get to see your email address which we can personally respond to; you should however, get an alert from KJB Online to your email address that "someone has responded to your comment". So to your questions.

    a. Indeed, the KJV isn't the oldest translation and yes, there were older Manuscripts available at that time. However, when King James commissioned the leading biblical scholars (approx. 47 translators) to translate the Bible at the behest of the Puritans, he wanted them to be accurate & consistent with the original texts, yet to conform to the ecclesiology of the Church of England. Hence, in 1 Timothy 3:1 (& elsewhere), the word for the Gk. 'episkopon' has been given as, Bishop, which should have correctly been translated, Overseer. It was never the intention of Apostle Paul to have such appointments in the Church, but simply, Elders & Deacons. But that aside, these KJV translators had found a number of errors from those 'older' manuscripts (from the Alexandrian text: Textus Vaticanus & Textus Sinaiticus). Even when compared with each other, the Alexandrian texts varied by as much as 3000 separate 'disagreements' just in the Gospels. So the 'later', & deemed more reliable & faithful to the Textus Receptus, (from Erasmus' five manuscripts & to which even later manuscripts gave support to and also from the original Masoretic Text, for the O.T. translation), was the Authorized King James Bible born. We can't consider all the differences between the RSV, NIV, etc. with the KJV, since they are many (e.g. Isaiah 7:14 "virgin"; Luke 2:33 "Joseph"; Acts 20:28 "Blood", are just a few changes or omissions).

I'm a little confused, am I hearing from the attached Comments, and Interpretations of Scripture, people are insinuating "Jesus" is "GOD the Lord"...?

Matthew, Mark, & John tells Us over & over again, who "GOD" is, and who we are suppose to be Serving(GOD), and not Serving(Man) ... Jesus was Born a Man, correct ???

    Revelation 21:4-7

And "God" shall wipe away all teares from their eyes: and there shall bee no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there bee any more paine: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he (GOD) that sate vpon the throne, said, Behold, I(GOD)make all things new. And hee (GOD) said vnto me (John), Write: for these words are true and faithfull.

6 And he (GOD) said vnto mee (John), It is done: I (GOD)am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I (GOD) will giue vnto him (Chosen, Israel) that is athirst, of the fountaine of the water of life, freely....

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his "God", and he shall be my "Son".

Luke 2:49 And he (Jesus) said vnto them (Parents), How is it that ye sought me(Jesus)? Wist yee not that I must bee about my fathers(GOD) businesse? Which Scripture tells us to serve "Jesus" instead.

Please direct me to the correct verse that say's Praise Jesus for/to get to "GOD our Lord & Saver". (I am truly troubled by this ) .. Thx
