  • Carleton - in Reply on Psalms 91:7
Good morning. I have been blessed to hear over the years hundreds of children give their testimonies where they went from wanting to be a Christian to understanding that they were not saved and crying out to Jesus to be saved because they recognize sin in their life. Somewhere in between is a call to accountability. One account told by a minister today, was he and his brother (he was the oldest being 11-12) and sisters were upstairs in a house all having fun jumping on the bed. From below the mother let them know that she wanted them to stop. Instead the fun continued, another warning ot two by the mother and she began to come up the stairs. The future minister quickly jumped off the bed and sat in a nearby chair as the mother entered the room. All the children except the future minister were punished.

Time went by until the Lord called this boy to account for this lie. He repented and found peace. Confessions were made to his parents and brothers and sisters and as a minister to folks like me.

One concern that I do carry is trying to turn Children into believing Christians before God calls them. It is confusing to them and for them to be able to tell their testimony clearly later. The parents need to teach these children the truth by example and have them prepared to answer this call to accountability for sin when God judges the right time.

Most calls to accountability for sin that I have witnessed have been between 12 and 16 years old. Some between 9 & 12 and few before. There is a difference between a child being fearful because they understand there is a hell and understanding that they are resisting God's call for sin in their own life.

  • Comments on Revelation 12 KJV The woman in travail and birth pains. Which is the World, Jesus said the field is the World where that precious seed is gonna be sown, in the hearts of every man, I will KNOW them All from the least to the greatest. Being bornagain again requires a seed and an intimacy, he wants to know us thats when that good seed th LIVING WORD is gona be sown in our hearts resulting in a CHILD which is the H.G. Thats y he is saying that which is born of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT, THUS THERE IS A BABY CHRIST IN OUR FUTURE thats y he calls himself the Son of Man mankinds fruit unto God via that good seed th living word.Whososever receives one such child in my name receives ME, Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil CHILD you will in no wise enter there IN, Isaiah said a little Child is gonna lead them the Child being the H.G. THE BABES and SUCKLINGS That are gonna be born IN US via his seed the WORD, tHE REASON WE REFER TO THE H.G AS A CHILD IS B/C HE HAS TO BE BORN IN US VIA THE SEED OF CHRIST the contents of the book in the hand of the FATHER, the Child is not of this world, a heavenly being as we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear the image of the HEAVENLY ( BEING BORN FROM ABOVE ) Jesus tells nic. you can only hear him you cannot see him, Its like the wind,it can only be heard in the spiritual realm, Jesus describes the 2 births as flesh and Spirit. But Jesus refers to that spirit as the SON OF MAN,mankinds fruit unto God the manchild our new innerman, that new creature, 9 times the scripture speaks of a New innerman that has to be born in US. Our old man is in rank with satan,That will fallaway the dog that returns to his vomit BUT OUR new man is Christ in us,Our new heart and new spirit that we so need. The very Kingdom of God in US via that good seed thats how the Kingdom will come via that good seed sown in our hearts. My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you, thats the 2 nd coming th H.G born n US

I am a living witness, sometime ago fear nearly take away, but when i started searching deeply and believing the words of God it becomes the weapon of warfare in life. Mark 1:15.

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what by nature people have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. Actually it means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent and how people have been deceived (Revelation 12:9), we invite you to review the article 'Repent' on a world deceived.ca
  • Age of Accountability - in Reply on Psalms 91:7
The need for genuine discipline doesn't usually arise until about midway through the child's second year. At this time, boys and girls become capable of understanding what you're telling them to do, and as a result they can very gently be held responsible for their behavior. A firm "no!" or a MILD slap on the hand can be effective in certain situations.

On other occasions it may be far more helpful to mandate a brief "time out" (two or three minutes at the most) or take away a favorite toy for a short period of time. Through the next 18 months, you will gradually establish yourself as the benevolent boss if you can consistently mean what you say and say what you mean. A firm but loving approach is generally the best policy in every phase of the child-rearing process.

There is some great verses on child rearing in the Book of Proverbs.

I think parents are afraid of lawsuits if they correct a child. The Bible actually says: if you never correct your child: you hate him.

One of the worst things for a kid is to use a TV to keep the child distracted or entertained.

Youtube teaches things you do not want them to learn! If you want them to grow up and follow Jesus someday; don't expose them to worldly and selfish tv content. Video games teach nothing useful.

I started reading short Psalms to my grandson at naptime and bedtime. He's 7 and became a Christian a year ago.

If YOU don't teach it: they will not learn it.

Go see how many parents are in the prayer request room asking prayer for adult drug addict children? Heartbreaking.

  • WHAT CAN WE EAT or IS IT CLEAN - in Reply on Isaiah 66:17
    Romans 14:14

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

    Romans 14:15

But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

    John 6:27

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Comment: basically nothing is forbidden if you PRAY over your food before eating it.

I pray this often if I get take out food:

"Lord thank you for your provision and the blessing of food. I ask You to bless and sanctify it and make it healthy for me to eat. I receive this meal in the Name of Jesus. Amen!"

I picked this variety of verses to show that meat eaters and vegetarians can all eat what they want. With joy and appetite.

Also, There is spiritual meat that the Christian can ask the Lord to give to him. It has to do with deeper truth. Trust the Holy Spirit (your teacher who oversees your growth) to give you the meat.

In this day and age, I always ask the Lord to bless and sanctify the food. We don't know where it comes from, do we?

    Mishael
  • Your argument about Daniel are very weak. Daniel issue you are referring is the one during Dario not during Cyrus.

Also about forcing the King, in Babylon the law was above the King, they could force him. King has to follow law and decree which do not change

  • Book of Joel 2 and Locust Invasion in Africa - in Reply on Malachi 3:2
One verse mentions about worldwide swarms of locusts. This is a piece of a news article from 2/14/2020:

The current swarms of locusts are the most serious outbreak in decades, affecting Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Eritrea and most recently, Tanzania and Uganda. The locusts could fly into South Sudan, a country whose population is already struggling with high levels of hunger. The swarms are extremely large, in North-Eastern Kenya, one swarm was measured to be 37 miles long and 25 miles wide.

The UN says that desert locusts are the most dangerous migratory pests because of their capacity to decimate crops, threatening food security and livelihoods. Swarms, which can contain 40-80 million locust adults, can consume crops in one day that would provide food for 35,000 people.

"The longer the outbreak continues, the higher the risk of famine goes up," Peter Smerdon of the World Food Program in East Africa tells TIME. "You need to knock them out before they start wreaking further havoc."

The latest locust swarms migrated from the Arabian peninsula, where cyclones in the deserts of Oman this fall created ideal breeding conditions. The swarms arrived on the African continent three months ago and have since grown in size and scope. The UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) has warned that the swarms could increase by 500 times come June, in light of rainy forecasts. [ Next paragraph indicates it may be from global weather changes]

if you go to the Commentary Box on this website, it will tell you what Wesley taught on this chapter in Joel.

It would be a study into history of locust swarms on earth. Joel's locusts seem to mention The Chaldeans.

I can't do a study like this quickly. Co to the Commentary Box ( below the 2 Search Boxes) and highlight the verses and read. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you place the Time on these events.

Swine being forbidden was a Mosaic Law, found in Leviticus, in the Old Testament.

In the New Testament we now refer to Mark 7:15 for your answer.

What we eat and goes through our stomach doesn't defile us. It is what comes out of us, from the heart, that defiles us.

So if you enjoy bacon have an extra piece!

Have you seen the videos of Coke being poured over raw pork? Quite gross. Just ensure you cook your pork thoroughly.
