He has prophesied before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings. The Word of God is not for a long ago time and place. It has lived and spoken to us down through the ages.
  • Marilyn on Psalms 118
The Word blessed me today. I will bless the Lord at all times because his mercies endure forever.
I am happy because God is not a man and I can always, always depend on him. If God said “it”
    He will make “it” good!

Cheryl, Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  • Blackmonarch7 on Matthew 17
The complexities of the words help the masses to know the Lord's will. I think it's the best way of speaking out on God's grace. And these words are life if they are applied in a forthright fashion. The grace, mercy, peace and benevolence of our Lord and saviour be with you all. So I end with may God bless you keep you make his shine upon you and give his peace. And the Lord remains sovereign king.
  • Tyler replying to Bible Reader Kirk's comment on Acts 15
Let me politely ask you an even more powerful question. Which are you going to believe? Are you going to believe unholy and ungodly ghost stories or the Holy Word of God? God Bless! May God guide you, protect you, and watch over you on your search/journey for his truth.
  • Tyler replying to Brenda’s comment on Genesis 4
All we really need to know is this. When Cain begot children with his [mystery] wife the children were wicked because Cain was wicked. The wickedness is what’s more/really important. Knowing who his wife was isn’t really all that important. Besides for all we know she was probably wicked herself. I will admit the nagging question(s) wouldn't go away, but at the same time don’t question God’s Word.
  • Tyler replying to James’s comment on Luke 22
Look at it this way. Do you understand what the verse is talking about even though the verse uses brake? If so, then just ignore it. Believe me I know. In Acts 13:19 I questioned why Canaan was spelled Chanaan. But eventually I thought, “I know what Paul is talking about.” So, I ignored it and just left it at that. Hopefully this answer will satisfy you. God Bless!
  • Bob on Revelation 10

  • Gary Olsen on Romans 9
Osee is the Greek form of Hosea. You will find in 1:10 the answer to part of your question. Chapter 3 explains the not beloved who departed from God in worshiping idols but their return to God in the latter days to become again the beloved. It's in between the lines.
  • Dannie on James 1
We have ways of doing things on our own .Never having enough faith to wait on JESUS. And that"s when faith is working patience.
  • Jennifer on Matthew 18
Tsk tsk... Those of you pushing denominational worship and "rule of the church" are actually WRONG... Many times over the Holy Bible warns of "the sects" and being "decieved by false teachings"... I mean according to each denomination, everyone else is doomed to the lake of fire... Nowhere in the Bible does it state that we must report to a designated building to worship him...
  • Stanjett on Matthew 18
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
  • JP on Genesis 4
Brenda, Your guess is good as mine, sometimes God doesn't tell everything just the important things.
  • JP on Genesis 4
The devil is not a serpent, the devil (satin) was Lucifer cast out of heaven for sinning. The devil used this serpent because was the most beautiful and smartest of the animals as he uses people today. The devil rather use beautiful and smart then the less attractive to get his way to deceive and destroy.
  • Tricia on 1 John 5
Verse 16 says "There is a sin unto death", and later says we aren't to pray about that! What IS the sin he's speaking of? Any thoughts? Could it be blasphemy of the Holy Ghost? That is the only thing I have found that says there is no forgiveness for! (Matthew 12:31)
  • Stanjett on 1 John 5
Yes. blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Will not be forgiven.
