  • Mike on Genesis 8
The Hebrew of verse 22 While the earth remaineth ,strongly suggest that it is perhaps better interpreted.... "as long as this whole era lasts"....
  • Vanessa on Job 8
Job was enjoying his self pitying, again he lost everything and groaned about it all, he forgot about the mercy and the love God has for a righteous man, instead of praying for guidance and mercy, he was begging to die, he forgot the love he had for God, we all go through many rough things in our lives but we need to remember God is for us not against us, pray always with a earnest heart
  • Vanessa on Job 6
Job thought he sinned against the Father and wished to die, he lost everything, he was being tested and he showed little faith at one point, he felt the spirit had left him, he was cursed. We all feel this at times, we all have trials and tribs, but at the end always keep in faith, and trust in the Lord no matter what, stay strong in the word, and bless God always and thank him for his mercies
  • Stanjett on Genesis 5
Methuselh did live the longest (969 years)at that time but who was the next to live longest? It was Methuselhs granddaddy, Jared who only live 7 years less than his grandson.(962 years) Man, they lived a long time back then. I think if my math is right Methuselh was alive at the time of the flood or died in the same year of the flood right before it.
  • Stanjett on Genesis 3
21Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. Where did God get the skins? Surely God didn't kill some of his animals to get the skins. And another thing God? Why did the animals have to die? They didn't sin. (except the serpent, he lied)Maybe he got the skins from animals that died?
  • Stanjett on Genesis 2
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. Eastward from where? Some say Africa but Africa would be south of Eden. On old maps of the Holy Land, it has a Eden(not sure if its the same). If its the same Eden it is eastward from the Holy Land.
  • Stanjett on Genesis 1
Why didn't God stop here, at the end of chapter 1 of Genesis? Well, maybe after He created Eve in the next chapter. There was no killings, we had plenty to eat and peace. Animals didn't eat man or each other and we didn't eat them or harm them. Animals and Adam ate vegetables and fruit. It was truely a Garden of Eden and a paradise.
  • Kevin LaMonica on Psalms 69
2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHLY DIVIDING the word of truth. What does it mean to be "in Christ"?

What parts of the Bible are aimed at the Body of Christ and what parts are aimed at Israel? Is Romans 11 talking about individuals or the nation of Israel and gentiles as a group?
  • Bruce on Genesis 1

    He will never fail us.

I think John 9 is a very important passage about the difference between Satan's prison of darkness and Christ's freedom of light!

Verse 30~ No matter how practical human wisdom may seem, if it is in opposition to the wisdom from Jehovah God it will ultimately result in foolishness.
  • Fred scanlan on Matthew 14
Herodias , indeed should be an example unto all men who fear God! Especially those who have power. Herod was weak, in the subconscious idea that he could tempt God while serving mammon! Anyone who thinks that they can play this game will in the end loose! Herod lost everything even his kingdom because of his lust. Anyone given power has authority only because it is given him by God.

  • Fred scanlan on Matthew 14
I believe that every thing that occurs in the bible has been predestined before the foundation of the world. Like a true christian,John is a forerunner teaching Gods will living out Gods command. God had mercy on John , in that Herods order happened so quickly, John had no idea what was about to happen!
  • BSP on Psalms 34
One must personally put faith and trust in Jehovah God and his words in order to "taste and see" that he is good.

11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
