  • Stanjett on Joshua 2
21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window. What was the purpose of the scarlet line? They didn't enter into the city that way. They came in the front gate.
  • Randall on Joshua 2
The scarlet thread was to show which house to save. It is also a type of Christ, the scarlet thread being a symbol of the blood of Jesus red blood , which saves us, as the scarlet thread saved those who were in the house.
  • Groucho on Joshua 2
Think the answer can be found in Joshua 6:22-23. The army saw the cord located and saved her and her family

continue question 2. Scripture says in Jeremiah 25:35 -- there is not hidding place on that day
  • Shanti
When unbelivers in Christ who do not have RIGHTEOUSNESS in the nature leave earth 1. Are they taken to hell immediately or at what time do demons take them to hell 2. Are all the unreghteous who have left earth in hell already ? Or is it some of them? Its some of them what happens to the others.. And if its all of them, why did the scripture says there is no hiding place on that day in Jeremiah
  • Adam
Good question. I don't have answers to all your questions, but know the Bible talks about everyone having a judgment day. It's my belief that heaven and hell will be available for people only after they are judged. So after people die it's my personal belief that people's souls are in a dormant state of rest until judgment. I don't think they're conscious, like sleep, and judgment seems instant. 2 Corinthians 5:10

Is a woman able to talk or speak out during a church business meeting at church? Where does it mention it in KJV bible either way? If yes or no

1 Corinthians 14:35 View whole chapter See verse in context And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. The apostle gives a positive direction that on no pretence are women to be allowed to speak in the church, even though they should claim to be inspired. Look up Albert Barnes notes on the whole bible.

Wendy, 1 Corinthians chapter 14:34-35 says this.

  • Helen Crabtree on Daniel 2
I'm touched by Daniel's thoughtfulness: he remembers his prayer partners when he was appointed over the whole province and gave them positions in the government. Father, may I remember those who have prayed and continue to pray for me in my hour of need. Bless them with wisdom and counsel for lifting me up in prayer, grant them the heritage of Jacob and save them and their families, I pray. Amen
  • ANN on 2 Timothy 1
Glory be to god, this is beautiful i love it , really enjoyable to read, and i do beleive god love for his people to come togather and discuss his living word, this is how we gain strength from one another.
  • Donalda Curry on Psalms 27
This is my favourite of all the psalms and I have found it a great blessing over the years, such hope in times of stress.
  • Joseph Lee on Revelation 1
I find many Christians trying to take the easy way out. Believing that the sacrifice of the only begotten Son of God the Father is sufficient in which gives them the right to sin. We are not perfect, but Jesus stated " Be therefore perfect as your Father which is in heaven." Meaning we are to strive to be so. Read what Jesus stated in Matthew 7:20-23. The WILL of his Father. God bless
  • Marie Washington on 2 Peter 3
Verse 10, states that the heavens 3 heavens shall pass away, so where will God Jesus and the saved people? I know the Bible speak of a new heaven and earth, but it's states nothing about where the saints will be while heaven and earth burn up.
  • Pat mckenna on 2 Peter 3
we are in heaven with the CHRIST for seven years then we come back after the tribulation with the CHRIST to rule and rebuild what was destroyed
  • Stanjett on 2 Peter 3
In the end times, the heavens sky, stars, etc. and this earth, will pass away. Not Heaven. believers will be raptured. New heavens and a new earth will be made for the saints us, believers
  • Adam on 2 Peter 3
Hello Marie, I don't believe the Bible says that heaven will burn up, only the Earth. I doubt that people in heaven will be adversely affected when it's upgraded or when another heaven is made or whatever happens. Heaven is designed to be absolute paradise beyond anyone's wildest imaginations full of love and joy, so I doubt people will feel inconvenienced.
  • Marie Washington on 2 Peter 3
Thanks for providing me with the correct answer, it did say pass away, not burned up. Thanks again, and God bless you.
  • Ann on 2 Peter 3
Mary Washington, please read 2 Peter 3:12 KJV Bible, The heavens being on fire.
  • Dr. Tamara Pizzoli on Psalms 91
You are doing GOD's work and Psalms 91 is for you!!
  • Vanessa on Matthew 24
we should always live each day prepared, we never know when our end will come, so those days should make no difference at all as long as we are walking in the path towards the Father, the words we read teach us how to live, and what to look for in the coming of time if we are still amongst the living,I yearn for the peace and the joy in his presence, to kiss his cheek and to be home finally
  • Stanjett on Deuteronomy 7
Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed. what are the hornet?
  • Pat mckenna on Deuteronomy 7
    hornet means stinging bees
