1 Corinthians 6:9-10 refers to homosexuality as abusers of themselves with mankind. The bible is clear that it is a sin is this verse and others. Just because someone is tempted to do something doesn't mean they must perform the act or let it define them. Grace is not a permission slip to sin. If heavenly angels can sin so can humans with free will. Salvation can be cancelled: Luke 12:10

Adam there are many things that are considered sins and some that might be considered unforgivable by man. However, Jesus Christ died on that cross for ALL who accept him as their personal savior, there are NO CAVEATS! No sin may CANCEL anyones salvation. Everyone except Jesus was born into sin. Then he canceled ours for us with his death on the cross. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord!

Hello, does this mean you do not believe all scripture like Luke 12:10? Since it clearly says those who blaspheme won't be forgiven, are you saying blasphemers are forgiven? opposite of what it says . Christians need to continually report and ask forgiveness of sin and try to not conform to the world: Romans 2:2. Matthew 7:21-23 is how Jesus will respond to Christians who deny Him. Romans 6:1-2.

Adam either you BELIEVE in Christ s death and resurrection being the ultimate sacrifice for all or you don t. That s up to each person. There are NO WORKS required nor is there any SIN that can take away salvation. His words not mine. John 3:16 is THE ONLY VERSE NEEDED. Believe in him and you are SAVED
  • Adam
The book of James and the book of Romans explains this exact topic and does not come to the conclusion you wrote. These are the words of God which can't be just cherry picked or disregarded. Have you read those books and prayed about it? The Bible also warns against false teachings and anyone saying sin is totally 'ok' doesn't sound like it comes from God, but the devil. John 14:15

I KNOW without a doubt it IS A SIN. That's not debatable, I will not condone the act of homosexuality as the bible does say in Leviticus 20:13 King James Version KJV 13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death their blood shall be upon them. I want to address them lovingly as to why it's wrong.

Is. 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
  • LYNDON PATRICK BERCHY on Psalms 118
Psalms 118 verse 8 is said to be the centre of the "Holy Bible". Its the most powerful verse in where "God is the Centre of our Lives", It was God who made Adam and gave him the Breath of Life, That was given to the man in a state of holiness. He had everlasting life at the time of that giving, Which tells us that when he ate the fruit of desire this man brought death on himself. So Trust God.
  • Dr.Rama rao B.Van. on Isaiah 40
This is a direct assurance of the Lord to Jacob that thone that Wait upon the Lord will be empowered with true power to walk In Him.

Divorce - and relationships afterward. I cannot move on. I am confused about passages relating to divorce and what happens afterwards.
  • Gary Olsen
"Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving except for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery" This is saying that our Lord only recognizes divorce when one of them has committed a sexual act with someone else outside of his or her marriage. Only the fornicator has sinned. The other is free to move on.
  • Janie verse 4 on Deuteronomy 24
Despite hearing and reading God's word I remarried. While in the second marriage, I realized how I had sinned. I remarried because I was saying to the Lord Jesus that I did not trust him to take care of me as a single woman. My actions said that I did not believe everything in the Bible. Maybe, without realizing it, I may have said to the Lord I do not Love you. I had to repent. Forgive me Lord.
  • Michael Patterson on Psalms 127
Psalms 145 is so Beautiful. The Lord is near to All who call upon him in Truth.
  • Kenneth Redden
It is by the Faith of Christ Jesus that we have no sin, it has nothing to do with us. Christ work is finished, and He has taken "sin" away from the world. Therefore, sin does not exist in this Universe you cannot sin and Science proves it.
  • Adam
Hi Kennneth, I've been hearing this opinion more and more recently and I've read the Bible, prayed about it and feel convicted that this is only a deception by satan. The holy spirit has confirmed that while Jesus has washed our sin away through his grace that we are to make a full effort to avoid sin. Matthew 5:48, John 14:15- if not then you don't love Jesus according to the Bible.
  • Kenneth Redden
Would you like to know how they brought it back, just ask.
  • Kenneth Redden
Matthew 5:48 does not say to make a full effort to avoid sin, it is about loving those who hate you, read the pasage. However, Ephesians 2:8 tells us that we are saved through faith, Christ faith, and that not of yourselves.
  • Adam
People often make the assumption that because you are saved by grace that a Christian doesn't need to do anything- Can just do evil and worldly things just like anyone else. But if you carefully read the Bible across all its scriptures you will see that's untrue. You can literally Google search and come up with countless verses that say Christians those already saved must proactively avoid sin.
  • Kenneth Redden
Your personal behavior only affects YOU, according to our one and only new commandment "love one another as Christ have loved you, that ye also love one another," John 13:43. Your time in the hereafter will be judged according to this new commandment, so love one another as Christ has loved you and that's all you can do. Love.
  • Adam
People's behavior affects others very much, not just oneself. If someone murdered one of your family members I'm sure you would agree that it would affect not just the dead family member, but you and the rest of your family, friends, their community. Love is an umbrella command in order to simplify. People don't murder others in love, for example, which is why that's a sin.
  • Kenneth Redden
As a matter of fact, our faith, personally has absolutely nothing to do with it. After an estimated one quintillion occurences of the seven days of creation. the Universe is perfect and there can be no sin!
  • Kenneth Redden
I know that it is Christ's faith that saves us because of 2Timithy 3:15.
  • Kenneth Redden
Please show me how you carefully read the Bible across all its scriptures and come up with your assumption.
  • Adam
When someone is in the habit of studying the Bible every day, over time after one has read it through a few times you begin to make more connections and see common themes throughout. One is obedience. No where does the Bible says once you accept Christ you just 'do whatever sin you want', because it 'doesn't matter'. Quite the opposite. The book of James explains this commonly misunderstood topic.
  • Kenneth Redden
That sounds good, but you are going to have to give me specifics, as I have done, in order to support your argument. We cannot sin, sin no longer exist!
  • Adam
Hi Kenneth, actually I did provide verses and said you can Google search for the whole list. Type in 'Bible Verses About Avoiding Sin' and you'll find a list on this site of 13 verses on avoiding sin, if you type in and 'Bible verses on obedience' you will see a list of 60 verses. The Bible is full of examples of being obedient and avoiding sin. What verses do you have that say sinning is ok?
  • Kenneth Redden
But all your posts are from the beginning, or the third day of the creation. We, of the fourth day of the creation, have the blood of Christ to save us.That is the difference.
  • Kenneth Redden
The, "whosoever," in Mark 8:35 does not refer to you, it is a reference for Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can save you, you can't save yourself. Remember, you don't haver the faith of a mustard seed... Matthew 17:20.
  • Adam
Being obedient to God doesn't mean you're saving yourself. It means you're being a Christian. Romans 6 and James 2 already explained this concept in detail. Do you believe that Romans 6 and James 2 in the inspired word of God?
