  • Obbie Beal on Matthew 19

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (notice 18
  • Brianna on Psalms 9
David was not immune to facing trials. Davids mentioned God's quality of Justice several times in this chapter. He did not rely on his position as the King of Judah to solve his problems. He trusted in Jehovah God's deep love of justice to correct the wrongs. David mentions that God i s a righteous judge who will not tolerate evil forever. So today, we too may experience troubles. God will help!!!
  • Brianna on Psalms 8
Here we have a powerful king of Judah, realizing just how small he is in comparison. In verse 4, we can really see David's humility. This makes me think of today's rulers. When they reach a position of power, they believe they are the center of the universe. They don't recognize there is someone higher than they are. A good ruler will, acknowledge that there is someone higher than him.
  • Brianna on Psalms 7
These dirges show the depth of David's relationship with his God, Jehovah. Even as a king, with fearsome warriors at his side, he turned to God to be his rescuer. This shows the need to really cultivate a TRUE relationship with God. Not a superficial one based off emotions, but one based of the convincing truth that God is a savior to his people, and that he will help us if we are obedient.
  • Marlo on Daniel 7
The 10 horns of the 4th beast are the 7 heads of Revelation 13, and 17. The little horn is the 8th beast of Revelation 17, the final beast kingdom upon the earth, Antichrist. Hence why front Daniel's vision to John's vision, three of the horns are subdued by this time. Also a bonus point, these horns have advanced to heads Kings in Revelation.
  • Lady A on 1 John 5
You will gain more of all Things when you Trust in GOD the Father through his Son Christ Jesus

  • Jimmie Bush on John 4

  • Kevin LaMonica
Those who overcome will not have their names blotted out of the book of life (Rev. 3:5)

The Christian who is in Christ has overcome through his faith in Christ (1 John 5:4-5: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?).
  • Kevin LaMonica on Psalms 69
2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Psalms 51:11: Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

    Does a Christian ever have to pray this in light of John 14:16? And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

    God is good
  • IDA on Psalms 4
  • Brenda M Dalton
In my previous comment my grammar was out of whack: First sentence uses incorrect use of the word worth. I said worthless when it should have been worthy. Or......"nothing" should have been "everything" for it to make sense. Thank You
  • Brenda M Dalton on Ecclesiastes 1
I think Ecclesiastes is a great reminder, or a teacher if we haven't been there yet, that nothing we do that is not of God will prove to be worthless at the end of our lives. None of it. And the happiness we seek, the emptiness we search to fill can only be found in the will of God. What God wants for us is what we should be discovering for ourselves.
  • Sandy Barwick on Isaiah 43
I know we will know our loved ones and other verses tells we will be like Christ and other verses tells me that we will not remember the things of old so what does it mean we will be known as we were known
  • Margot on Isaiah 43
Once in heaven, you don't remember life here on earth. To do so would bring pain and the bible says there is no pain in heaven no tears, no heartache, no death. No one up there remembers anything that happened on earth. Every time a new soul enters heaven, they are immediately recognized by their loved ones that are there they are "known as they were known" on earth.

  • Evelyn de Nully on Psalms 27
I learned Psalm 27 since I was a child. My Grandma introduced it to me and then my Mum reinforced it. It is my go-to Psalm for protection from enemies and strengthens my soul.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed with negativity from others, I meditate on it. It is an extremly powerful Psalms that keeps me centered on Christ and not on the challenges. God has already fought the battle
