  • Steve morrow on Isaiah 55
Ho everyone that thirsteth come ye to the waters and he that hath no money come ye buy and eat yea come buy wine and milk without money and without price --55:2-- where do you spend money on that which is not bread and your labor for that which satisfieth not hearken diligently unto ME and eat that which is good and let your soul delight itself in fatness
  • Gary Olsen
In verse 1, "fading flower" means that whatever it is that fills you with pride, it's all going to go away or be taken away. "The head of the fat valleys" means you are very rich and have all kinds of material stuff. "To be overcome with wine" means your eyes are full of your stuff and you have no room for God in your heart or mind. Pretty cool verse.
  • Lilian on John 6
Amen thank you Jesus for your words
  • Gary Olsen on Isaiah 28
There's a lot of meaning in verse 1. "Crown of pride" means you're pretty vain. To be drunk here means you're following another doctrine apart from God. Ephraim could mean many different peoples because in Gen. 48:19, he was prophesied to become a "multitude of nations" (gentiles). "Glorious beauty" means you have a lot of stuff going on for yourself that you're very self-satisfied about (pride).
  • I Am that Michael Isaac Dale on James 3
That wicked, ever learning but unable to discern Scripture, said to himself (but not aright,) Let us bait him into saying that which is unprofitable: that he may anger God and fall into our pit by the net which we have set for him. I say circumcise thy heart: For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regard not persons, nor takes reward:
  • I y Johnson on Galatians 3
The only created, man, Adam, sinned. That person has to be Sinless, Spotless, no blemish, at-all. That’s why Jesus is referred to as The Spotless, Sinkess, Son-of-God: or the
Spotless-Sinkess-Lamb-of God. John3:16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only-Begotten-Son,That whosoever beleveth in Him shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life. He came to die for the sins of the World.
  • Ivy Johnson on Genesis 3
God gave them skins to cover-up. Gen. 3:21, some animal had to die. God sacrificed an animal to cover their sin. From the beginning, God has declared the payment for ‘sin’ is death, and so ‘blood’ must be shed to ‘cover’ ‘sin’.
  • I Am that Michael Isaac Dale on James 3
Your mouth reveals your wickedness. So It is written, For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Thus says the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy. God is jealous, and the LORD revenges; the LORD revenges, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.
  • June lacey on Genesis 5
What I think is the Lord and all living all knowing God and I also think that that was the beginning of how we live today with Disobedience and it started with Eve disobeying the Lord but through it all the Lord is no Respect a person I love him so much not because of what he has but because of who he his in my life
  • Vicki on Psalms 118
I read somewhere that Psalm 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. So true. Yet we all tend to put our trust in men at times. Something we need to fight against. For example, we may trust our doctors but ultimately healing comes from God. We may trust our pastors, but need to check what they say with the word of God.
  • Obbie Beal on Daniel 5
Jehovah / GOD moves mightily against a pride-heart plus worshiper of idols / sin ( 4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.) but it was too late because that night GOD would take down one king a raise up another king (the young man / king did not learn nothing from his farther sinful-ways ) 2019 is a repeat
  • Steve on Hebrews 7
Who can understand the mechanics of the Supreme Being. Noone! We don't even fully understand the mechanics of being alive in a body which has a end, but the Spirit which enlivens us doesn't. Melchidec appeared out of nowhere to Abraham as an emissary and is never heard from again. You say he was Jesus walking the earth on a recon mission. I say that Jesus was born of woman, Melchisidec wasn't
  • Blessed
Am glad ,vey joyful in Christ that He decided to deliver himself to death because no man kill God but He had to give up Himself ,this kind of Love no man could give it ,because God cannot take anyone by death ,He made His son to be the Lamb to destroy the sin in Him Jesus Christ and baptized us all in Christ through His death and we made alive with Him through His resurrection,
  • Blessed on Isaiah 53

  • Stan jett on Acts 28
And? What ever happened to Paul after those 2 years?
And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

  • But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty

what does this mean in essence?
  • Steve on Hebrews 6
Only a fool would assume salvation, or eternal life is assured. If so, why study the word, or strive for the truth. It is done! This is not what the Bible says. It says, if one is worthy he will be judged by the impartial judge, if his mind and heart is right based on his entire life, whether he has done good or evil, whether he has endevored to hear the word, or whether he has only read 3/16
  • Daniel on 1 Thessalonians 4
It's really pretty simple. There is no such thing as a pre-tribulation rapture. That would require Christ returning a third time, because the pre-tribulation rapture would be the second. There is only one "Second Coming of Christ, " not two.
