1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak and etc.. Now , I need some explaining: Does this apply to women who are preachers, ministries and etc.., in or come the churches to speak too.
  • Carlene Foster on Ecclesiastes 2
What i have just learn in Ecclesiastic make want to be humble. Whatever you're bless with in life we should remain humble because all things in life is vanity and when we forget the keeper of them all it vex the Holy Spirit.
  • Robert Sanborn Jr. on Matthew 13
One thing I can take from ch.13:54-58 is that Jesus did do mighty works in his hometown but not many. Why ? Because of their unbelief. They could not come to receive their healing because they got offended by his teaching, not because he didn't have the power to heal.
  • Kent felker on Mark 8
it frightens me.......because I have not put all things away so I can follow him
  • Adeleye Wuraola
Why is it mentioned in the Bible that Abraham gave tithe once but in the church today, tithe has become a continuous thing? Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, Job and etc never mentioned they gave tithe once but God still bless them. In most of our churches today, they keep emphasizing that, that it seems is the only way God can bless His Children.
  • Damon
The modern tithe is unscriptural. Mostly because of greed. Pastorship was never meant to be a continual job, but something you did in addition to your regular work. People have tried to turn the job of Pastor into a source of revenue, which the Bible preaches against, calling it 'filthy lucre.' Paul says to give cheerfully, not out of necessity, meaning not FORCED, but willingly, by the Spirit.
  • Jerry
Amen Damon! I'm glad other brethren can see this too! Paul left the example to the elders of preaching AND working. Very good brother, you have a good understanding.
  • Gary Olsen on Zechariah 1
Myrtle trees mean good things are about to happen, but "in the bottom" means that the situation could not be any worse. Behind the red horseman were red horses meaning more war and bloodshed, speckled or black and white horses. Black meaning all the ills of war and white meaning righteousness. So this could mean wars waged with death and famine plaguing the land followed by righteousness.
  • Wayne Tucker on Galatians 1
The scripture we are reading, along with ll Corinthians 11:4, will put to rest false religions and false gospels that have sprung up among us. Read the Bible and talk to Jesus. We can't go wrong!
  • Mary Campbell on Galatians 1
Amen. Paul was now preaching the gospel and some of the saints was still afraid of him because they remembered when he was persecuting the saints. Still today, people tend to forget that if the Lord saved them He can save anybody
  • Pol saga ricarte on Galatians 1

  • Wayne Tucker on Galatians 1
God bless all the brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus!!!
  • Diedra Trivino on Lamentations 3
This Chap. is it about a man crying about all the sins of jeureslume ??
  • Jerry on Lamentations 3
Yes, I think so, but I think there be a deeper meaning also. Jesus said that from the days of John the Baptist til now when Jesus was speaking those words the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violence take it by force. In Lamentations 1, it also speaks of a fall from heaven. There are allegories all throughtout the OT.
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
  • 1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you
  • 16Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. 17But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire. 18Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again but Satan hindered us. 19For wh

GM...I have a question? What is the Courts of Heaven?
  • Preacher on Genesis 17
Alex I am with Karl on this. We should strive for perfection Romans 6:12 Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies. Strive to enter in at the strait gate Luke 13:24 . Christians should be a reflection of Christ and be Christ like.
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
  • Vanessa on Ecclesiastes 3
people do not understand all things are done through God and those that brag, have no clue that everything they have done, has been done before. Put God first in all things and be thankful to him always, I do nothing, but with him we do all things. Such wisdom to the soul
  • Gary Olsen on Zechariah 1
"Zechariah 1:8 I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees." Night, here, means the kind of darkness over a land caused by war, famine, sickness, and disease. The man riding the red horse means the blood shed in war. But "he stood among the myrtle trees." Myrtle trees symbolize prosperity and good things to come.
  • Barbara Hines on Psalms 119
