Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Always maintain good actions and God will never forsake you

Verse 14 showed that we need to search out what is Good. To understand what is good and acceptable, we need to study the Bible. Then this verse encourages us to Hate what is bad, and love what is good. It seems like more and more, things condemned in the bible is being presented as something "good ", and that the Bible 's viewpoint is being presented as something "bad ". Satan 's world is switching the roles of Good , and bad, bringing down the morality in people. So the previous verse is really important, because we need to search through God 's word to determine the good and the bad, and then make a stand for Jehovah God 's viewpoint.

Amos 5 is a warning to God 's people to turn their heart to him and not seek after idols there is only one true and living God and he is a just God who sits high and looks low checking and detecting the hearts of the people that is the reason for heaven and hell because of the hearts of people we are always looking for some form of gratified feelings instead of God way which is Jesus our redeemer the son of God who bore the sins of the world

this is what america need to do repent and turn back to GOD. the word of GOD have to be fulfilled but I believe that if we repent we would 'nt see as much crime as we are seeing today 2chrnicoles says if my people who are called by my name shall humble them self pray seek my face and turn from their wicket ways then will I hear from heaven forgive their sins and heal their land.why can 't we just obey the word of GOD.I do not want things my way I want things to be GOD way because HE knows what is best for all of us.HE is the creator of us all.LORD of LORD and KING of KINGS that 's GOD.

I think the point is we shouldn 't be worshipping false god 's, that might be done by having the wrong idea of who God really is or by giving praise to an image or symbol that simply couldn 't represent Him, for example. I personally wouldn 't want to associate myself with anyone who practices anything too dubious by looking or dressing in a way like them, but that said we should judge people based only on there outward appearance. It might help you to speak to a Church elder who you trust and to ask them there opinion and to continue with your Bible study as there is lots more on stars and God 's view of them and how women should dress. God is always warning us to turn to him , it will be judgment day , and than those shall pay who have not done as god has said ,his warning say that there is a Hell and Heaven . Let us believe on what his son Jesus has taught us and believe in him and have a true relationship .

The warning what will happen during the last 3 1 2 years of tribulation for the descendants of Joseph, the last 12 tribes of Israel. 1000 cities and only 100 survive the coming of Christ. If America has 300 Million, only 10 , 30 Million will survive. Something not to look forward to starting in 2015 to 2019.

I see this chapter as a warning for us to truly an humbly seek the face of GOD and follow his direction. Those that hide behind the trappings of religion and tradition while using it to oppress His children will pay a great price and all the have will be taken from them. When reading and understanding the text, the Ruach leads ine in a sense of definition, revealing revelation. I was seeing how the heart of man should be turn to He who created and that 8s everything. YAHWE knows the heart of man which is the mind and He knows when we are far from Him ornear to Him.and yet the text informed us to seek Him, alerting us as His children are to seek Him to find life and to know life. He will also by us seeking him will direct the ways of man that he will not wander off in the wrong direction. I was reading one comment which was speaking concerning saturn and satan and above all we know Father Yahwe created the universe and everything in, around and through that His image became to being. This is an awesome text and can be studied further, thats why Yah tells us to study and when we study He who reveals, reveals! Shalom!
