Hi Tami. Did you mean to write, Haman? If so, then we see from Esther 3:1 that he was an Agagite, i.e. he was a descendant of Agag, king of the Amalekites. He was a prominent person in the court of King Ahasuerus of the Persian kingdom, but after the execution of the king's chamberlains, Ahasuerus decided to promote Haman to the highest level, even above his other princes (leaders, overlords). But as you read this account in this Book of Esther, you will learn how evil this man was, ultimately leading to his downfall from his lofty position & to his execution.

I think ive made it pretty clear its NOT God but us doing the damage in His name.

I went to a church this summer to ask them about what they actually did with tithes.

God started showing me things right off the bat then I had to wait for someone to call me because they were busy remodeling the building.

And when he did call it was pure evil.

He lashed out at me right off the bat, i tried to stop him twice to pray and he refused. Its all up for interpretation, he said.

Patrick are you choosing to try and believe or honestly questioning why God did what He did, that I can respect but to think that God didn't know what He was doing to save His greatest creation man is like you making a clay pot and deciding to make it ugly beautiful round or square but that power is in your control. Now consider the creator who had to sware by hinself who of men He called and chose to believe Him and carry out His Word to the best of their ability until the messiah could be born. Make no mistake He overlooked a lot of children of isreals faults.

    Ah, ok.

But checking online to see why its divided as such seems peculiar, why doesnt it tell us?

And its easy to blame Satan for everything and take the responsibility off those who added and subtracted to a book that says Israel is chosen by God while the examples of their repetitive failure with God in front of them is never mentioned.

That required no faith, the red sea parting.......

Im not trying to discredit but I am pointing out some valid points.

Hi Patrick, the answer to your question is that Esther ends at chapter 10 verse 3, so naturally the 'additions' picks up in verse 4 and continues. You can probably find info online about why the book was divided into 2 parts to begin with. I would not be so quick to assume bad motives and satan is behind everything you don't yet understand. God bless.

Why does it start on verse 4?

Why isnt anyone asking these questions?

Please take this for what it is. Innocent questions for someone posting here. As this has no judgement or condemnation. No boasting or flaunting. Nor prideful or arrogant. The Truth shall set us free.

Are we not to be kind to one another? Does God enjoy the meek and humble or the prideful and arrogant? Does God want us to boast about earthly things? Should we forgive or condemn others? Is love not the most important thing we have from God through Jesus Christ? How can one assume so much about someone with knowing so little about them?

Just as intimate prayer, from the heart, to the Lord is very important. As such to commune personally, to one another, the love of God through His Word. Along with producing good fruit that makes our Eternal Father rejoice with gladness.

God Bless you all my brothers and sisters!

Do you think it's true that in Revelation of John that the number of the beast 666 is actually 618 when you add up the Greek numerals and then translate it to english?
