Hello Mario You are absolutely correct. There is one name Jesus Christ. He is God manifested in the flesh. Jesus Christ said it, Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, and the Apostles carried it out. People must be born again of water and spirit in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Acts 4 12 "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now The Question Was "Men And Brethren, What Shall We Do ? " Peter 's Answer Was Clear And Said "Repent, and be Baptized In The Name of Jesus Christ for the remission Of Sins, and Ye Shal Receive the gift Of The holy ghost " The Answer Is Clear . Another Thing I Would Like To Comment On Is This Matthew 28 19 "Go ye Therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the Name "not names " Of The Father , and of the son and of the holy ghost " What Is The Name Of the Father ? Jesus What Is the Name Of The Son Jesus And What Is The Name Of The Holy Ghost ? Jesus. In The Name Of Jesus Christ . One More Thing We Where Created In God 's Image ... Now When I Look In The Mirror I Only See One Not Three . One God And His Name Is Jesus Christ .

Hello Jerry M. Leonard The word seal may mean the same however, it is referring to two different seals. In Romans 4 11 it is referring to in Abraham day when the seal of the righteousness was sealed with the circumcising of the young males. The seal in Revelation 7 2 is referring to the seal of God placed on the foreheads of the 144,000 out of the 12 tribes of the Jews.

Part 2 of 2 Also when a preacher says over a person while baptizing them that he is baptizing that person in the Holy Ghost, he stated a lie. No man or woman can give, or baptize, or impart to another person the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is a gift that comes directly from God. He is the only one that can give the Holy Ghost which is his spirit.

Part 1 of 2 Hello Ar Jesus said it, Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, and the Apostles carried it out. There is nowhere found in the Book of Acts which is the beginning of the true church where anyone was baptized with the Apostle or preacher calling Father, Son, and Holy Ghost over them. When you read in the Book of Acts, even when it states in the name of the Lord, it is understood that you use a name. The Apostles never called over the people they baptized the titles that Jesus Christ held. They called the name. His name is Jesus Christ. Acts 4 12 Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Robinson 12 04 2014 12 25 The word seal is in Romans 4,11 that 's same word in Revelation 7 2 and they both haves same meaning.

To Joe 's Acts 2 verse 38 remark. please see Mat. Chapter 28 verses 18 to end. I also quote "18 and Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you lo,I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.Amen. By having done the wish of Jesus, you bury the old safe and rise as a new born in Christ.

Hello Sonny Also, when you say the trinity in terms of worshiping three different beings there is no trinity. There is not three in the Godhead bodily. There is only one that holds all three positions or titles and his name is Jesus Christ. Colossians 2 9 "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 1 Timothy 3 16 " And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hello Sonny Let me clarify. It was not wind. It was sound that came through as a rushing mighty wind. The point I was trying to convey to Jerry that it was not vapor that was spoken of in the description of the Holy Ghost. You cannot see sound and you cannot see wind this is the comparison I was trying to make. Also, if God can make fire that does not consume, then he can make wind that does not blow everything away. I just believe that God can do anything, but fail. However, whether it was sound or sounds that came in like a rushing mighty wind or wind itself, the point is that the Holy Ghost is very real and you need it in order to get out of here.

Part 3 of 3 The baptism is so important that in Acts 19 1 7 these 12 men had to be rebaptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Jesus said it Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2 38, the Apostles carried it out. Even Paul who is the Gentiles Apostle baptized Acts 19 1 thru 7. Baptism is very important and part of the salvation plan.

Part 2 of 3 Colossians 3 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. The baptism means to submerge in water. The Greek word baptizo means to dip or to plunge. The symbolic meaning of the baptism is the burial. There are many examples of this throughout the Book of Acts.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Joe This scripture sums it up James 2 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Baptism is not only a work but a deed as well. The word work means activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. You make up your mind to follow Acts 2 38. You are putting for a physical effort to get the job done by being submerged in water according to the scriptures. The word deed means something that is done, an act or action.
  • Acts 2 38 does not say that baptism will save your soul..there are not different ways of salvation. In the Old and New testament times it has always been by Faith .. and since Baptism is a work something we do ,, we ARE NOT saved by works ..a work robs God of his Glory ,, God would owe us salvation if it was by Baptism .

So what do I think? Was there really a great "physical " wind the literally blew through the room turning over plates, bowls maybe tables? Did it blow curtains and clothing? Did it mess up the women 's hair? Well, maybe. But really I think vs 2 captures an idea of the force of the Holy Spirit. The cleansing of all unrighteousness that may have previously inhabited that area even though they were disciples. When the Holy Spirit moves, there is no room for the demonic. I think it also represents the fact that the Holy Spirit it just that, our Holy "Spirit ". The binding Spirit of the Trinity that also binds us together with Jesus as He is bound to our Father. It is the picture of the force of the Spiritual wind cleansing the air, bringing in the Power of the gifts of the Spirit and yet the coolness of a peaceful breeze that follows as we rest in His wings. John 3 3 talks of how we can hear the wind but have no idea where it comes from or where its going, we just no that it is. This too is our call in believing the movement of the Holy Spirit. We can feel Him, hear Him and be directed by Him even though we cannot see Him. Nor do we know where He has just come from or where we are going at that minute, we still know that He is there. Not just with power, but with peace.

Part 3 of 3 The 144,000 are men and women who did not take the mark of the beast. These are individuals taken out of every tribe of Israel not the Gentile nations. If you go to Revelation 7 4 thru 8 you will find that each tribe of Israel 12,000 was taken out of them this adds up to the 144,000. These individuals were sealed of God in their foreheads by the angels. All of this is after the rapture. There is no one walking around now with the seal of God in the foreheads, Revelation 7 3. Those who have followed Acts 2 38 are circumcised in their heart. We are waiting for the rapture. We will not go through the wrath that is to come, 1 Thessalonians 1 10.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson
Part 2 of 3 However, the grace and mercy that we know now will not be here during the tribulation. See right now a person just have to follow Acts 2 38 without losing their natural life. However, during the tribulation period you will be given two choices you either take the mark of the beast, which is 666, in order to buy and sell, Revelation 13 17 or you will have to have your head chopped off.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Jerry M. Leonard I do not understand what you are talking about blood, fire, and vapor? There is no blood mentioned in the description of the Holy Ghost fallen that day. Not unless I missed something. It states like as of fire. This does not mean that it was a consuming fire like during the tribulation. The fire in the tribulation will destroy both heaven and earth. The scripture does not say that the Holy Ghost was vapor. It states that a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all house where they were sitting. You can see vapor, like steam. You cannot see wind unless it is moving trees, dust, or debris.

Hello Evangelist Chatauna Robinson comment 12 3 2014, 6 15 am...Yes I know the Holy Spirit came down to Peter and the others at Pentecost, Peter and Paul had Visions you can say, plus a few other things but the blood and fire and vapor does plys to the Tribulation and I think you know that, so it was then and will Come again a little different. I 've been tough this for 40 years and I 've been tough the Holy Spirit will be taken out. But when you say there is no grace in the Tribulation you need to read Revelation Ch. 7 Vs.13 and 14. When I was saved some 40 years ago I was seal with the Holy Spirit. I can 't think of the Chapter right now but I think you know it. The 144,000 is sealed and that 's where the Holy Spirit is then.

Hello Jerry M. Leonard If you read the scripture right above that Acts 2 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel The next scripture Acts 2 17 is repeating what the prophet Joel stated in Joel 2 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions The prophesy that was stated in Joel came to past on the Day of Pentecost and it is still in action today. The spirit of the Lord as we know it today will be taken out of the Earth when the rapture takes place. There will be no more grace and no mercy.

Hello Evangelist Chatauna comment 12 02 2014 3 06 am... Answering your statement on Acts Ch. 2 V. 17 and Joel 2, 28 refer to the same but in Acts 2, 17. The first sentence says it Shall come to pass in the last days that 's speaking of the great Tribulation. Then God says I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Then if you read verse 19 show wonders in heaven above and signs in earth beneath. It has no meaning to Acts 2, 38 or the Church. But it will when the 144000 Jews goes all over the world to all flesh if you meaning Gentiles.

Part 2 of 2 On April 6, 1906 and on through 1915 there was a fervent filling of the Holy Ghost on Azusa Street in Los Angeles, California. The revival was characterized by ecstatic spiritual experiences accompanied by miracles, dramatic worship services, speaking in tongues, and inter racial mingling. The participants were criticized by the secular media and Christian theologians for behaviors considered to be outrageous and unorthodox, especially at the time. Today, the revival is considered by historians to be the primary catalyst for the spread of Pentecostalism in the 20th century . Wikipedia, Los Angeles Journal, and Enrichment Journal

Part 1 of 2 Hello Jerry M. Leonard If the Gentiles were not to be saved then or now why would God make it a point for the writer to write the experience of Cornelius and his house having received the Holy Ghost like Peter and them on the day of Pentecost? Paul even stated he is the Gentiles Apostle, 2 Timothy 1 11. We follow and read his teachings. He baptized and laid hands on 12 men Acts 19 1 thru 7. He also told the Corinthian church, 1 Corinthians 14 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Hello Evangelist Chatauna Robison your comment on 12 01 2014,7 04 AM... to Jerry M. Leonard, I just read it, where you said to your children this is to Jewish children, TRUE. But all that are afar off you spoke of is not Gentiles it 's those Jews great, great and on grandchildren that have grown up the ones that their grandfathers stayed in Babylon in 536 B.C. that 's coming to the Pentecost Feast in around 34 A.D. As I said in another coming comment we 're not getting anyJwhere.

Hello Jerry M. Leonard Joel 2 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions When you read Acts 2 17 it quotes Joel. However, the importance of this scripture is that it states ALL FLESH . This does not mean some flesh or just the Jewish flesh. So when Peter clarified it in Acts 2 39 this lets you know who Joel, the prophet, was speaking of.

Hello Silungih, The first of Acts Ch. 2 verse 21 that you didn 't quote by the prophet Joel says, and it shall come to pass, well that 's speaking of Gentiles that would be saved later. Read Romans Ch. 1, verse 16 says salvation is for every one who believes for the Jews first and for the Greek. Meaning Gentiles would be saved later and that would be through the Apostle Paul 's Gospel of the Grace of the Cross. May God bless you.

Hello Jerry M. Leonard When Jesus told Peter in Matthew 16 19 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven . Peter stated those keys on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 38. Then he stated in Acts 2 39 For the promise is unto you this is to the Jews , and to your children this is to the Jewish children , and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call this is to the Gentiles . The first Gentile to follow this is Cornelius and his house. This is a witness to what Peter spoke into existence on that day. It did not just stop there. It continues today. I spoke with a minister who stated she laid her hands on someone and they received the Holy Ghost. It is very real.

Hello Rocking Robin as for Acts 2,38 and saving sinners you better bet it was for the whole Nation of Israel was going to be lost read Matt. Ch. 8 v. 12. Except for Peter, James, John and rest of the Apostles plus the 70 including all the others that believed Jesus Christ was the Messiah, the Son of Living God. They are called the elect. If you Read Matt. Ch. 16 v. 19 Peter would be given the keys to get into Heaven because the nation of Israel was going to reject Christ as their Messiah to have their kingdom on earth. Back to Peter and the keys the first key was the Holy Spirit coming down at Pentecost. The second key was Peter going to the first Gentiles, Cornelius and his house whole being saved. Notice the Holy Spirit fell on these Gentiles, no laying of hands because Paul at the time was out in the Arabian desert being taught or prepped the Gospel of Grace of God by Jesus Christ Himself. Acts 2,38 had nothing at the time to do with the Gentiles.

Hello Siungile Mlilo The word whosoever backs up with Peter s statement in Acts 2 39. This is a promise to everyone, not just the Jews. See it does not just stop with calling on his name. It does not stop with just believing in your heart. Because if it did then the author, who is Luke, would not have written what Peter stated on the day of Pentecost in verse number 38. This is the salvation plan under this Dispensation of Grace. Everybody who hopes to be saved must follow Acts 2 38.
