Gentiles in this context refer to as Non Hebrew peoples. That was why he appointed preacher, Apostle and teacher to enable them to grow and have the knowledge about God.

God created us differently with different kinds of gifts. Among the gifts are gift of knowledge, gift of wisdom, interpretation of tongues, discerning Spirit etc. Paul was encouraging us that the gift God has given unto us, we should use them to glorify God.

Timothy was properly instructed and supported by his mentor Paul. Paul is reminding him of the requirements that he was taught. Without good mentors and leaders there is a great chance we can fail.

Timothy and Paul had a bond. Paul was Timothy 's spiritual father which is a very strong bond. I have a bond with my spiritual family also. my spiritual family knows me like el ranee the GOD who see me and provides for me. El ranee gives them eyes to see me as his child and pray for the blessing of GOD to always be in my life. This is why GOD gave us a spiritual family. BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS WILLING AND THE FLESH IS WEAK. Our spiritual family helps strengthen us with prayer, love, kindness, and fellowship.

Sound words personally to me means something that we can derive and deduce in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. Examples are faith, love, prayer, evangelism, sound doctrine etc. According to 2Timothy 1 13, two words are important, that is, Faith and Love. Jesus was the origination of faith even encouraging us to have faith. Heb 11vs6. Also, Jesus was the author and genesis of Love. He love us and gave his life for us. So, anything we had heard about him, we should put them into practice.

Christians are fearful because people breaking into churches and killing members and getting away with it.

Gift here is singular Not as in Gift s .Gift of the Spirit And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles ' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

I we were not born with fear It was developed in me through parents and other people When I first became one of God 's children I had and am still learning not to fear Fear and Pride will always be around I do not have to go with it God has made a way of escape Sometimes it seems as a natural thing to go along with fear and pride But God says that which is natural with man is an unnatural thing with God. Through my Lord Jesus Christ I resist and stand against fear and pride. I would rather be in the perfect will of God than in the permissive will of God where the world is !!!!! The permissive will of God the devil is in it not God !!!!

In fear, there is no love, no joy, no peace. God does not give the righteous such an ungodly spirit. But instead, He gives His people the spirit of strength. God 's people are fearless. They are strong. They have power over the devil. They have that Holy Ghost boldness to look the devil in the eye and tell Him to get behind. God 's perfect love casts out fear which is from the devil. God 's people are filled with the spirit of Christ, so they have love, peace, understanding, wisdom and knowledge. They have the truth, which tears down the strongholds of Satan. This is only for the righteous. Those who sin and leave out Christ, they are going to be filled with fear and trepidation. In fact, the wicked, God said He will even bring their fears upon them. The righteous are free from fear because fear torments. 1John 4 18

God did not give us the spirit of fear, His promises to us, He says i will be wth you wherever you go, no need to fear, God is wth us all the time, love you Jesus.

Peace and blessing be upon the hearers of these words. In this scripture we are encouraged not to be ashamed of the gospel that our Lord and Saviour preached about the Kingdom and what we must do to enter in. Love your enemy, turn the other cheek, hate mother, father, sister,brother and yourself and the number one thing we are ashamed to suffer for Christ is giving up our love for money remember He said we can not serve God and mamon. Look for a new heaven and new earth and don 't be afraid to leave this one behind. Peace be upon the hearers in Jesus name.

Fear is used by satan to barricade us against the love and compassion of God Christ through His death and resurrection has freed us from the clutches of satat Forgive me Lord for the times I allowed fear to overcome me

I like the constant reminders to be not ashame of the doctrine and teaching that we have learned Our lives should be guided by these principles that others may see God at work in us and that we may obtain eternity through Him

It was a good reminder wakeup call Not to fear I have been so terrified This verse freed me by reminding me and empowering me not to be afraid

l love this scripture 2 timothy 1 6 he was stir up the gift of god which is in timothy he was asking timothy to demonstration of the gifts of the holy spirit in him

I love this scripture I was fearing a decision concerning my child but I was reminded that God did not give me a spirit of fear but of love which mean I have to love the ones I fear but it also let me kno to take descretion

2Timoty1:7 This verse empower christians to wake up and forget about fear for we are filled with the Holy Spirit and therefore spread God's Word as the waters covers the sea,for we are the light of this world and Jesus is the tree and we are the branches so we must be fruitful

GOD has aiways HELPED me and always will my mind is his and all i am peace he gives in the blood of JESUS in my mind and body here on earth and in HEAVEN.

I remind myself that this is a spiritual war nothing of the flesh,so giving God the glory in all things always.

Fear is faith in reverse,when it comes, abort it immediately,and speak the word of God.guard your heart, don't let Satan steal your faith and joy. Read 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Ephesians 6, john8:44 we are engaged in a spiritual warfare, fight it with Gods sword which is the word of God.We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus!

2 Timothy 1:7 is a powerful Scripture that lets us know that we have been empowered by the Master's Touch and we are not ruled or taken over by a spirit of timidity or fearfulness. We are possessed by the Awesome Holy Spirit of God that is Ultimate Power Incarnate.
