    V. 5 - is a powerful passage relating to the mind. It is there all things are conceived. It is the beginning of thoughts. What we imagine ourselves to be, we eventually become. Paul's suggestion is that we forcefully 'slam' down every imagination, and everytghing that exalts itself against everthing that is Godly and righteous, and bring all thoughts under subjection to God's will. There is so much in that passage. It really 'blows' the mind. Thanks for the opportunity to give an expression.

To walk in the Spirit (verses 2 and 3) means to be under control of the Spirit, to walk in the flesh means to be under control of the flesh. Every Christian has within him to opposing powers; the flesh and the spirit. There is a warfare going on between them. The Holy Spirit wants us to do Gods will and the flesh wants to please itself. 1 Galatians 6:8 He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. How can we overcome the flesh? Galatians 5:16 Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Found it to be the only effective way of dealing with thoughts from the devil that bind us or wrong thinking patterns.

It opened my eyes on how to pray for my very intelligent son who does not believe in God or the saving power and grace of Jesus Christ. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

God has given his children mandate to enforce his will on earth through earnest prayer. Let us confront the forces of evil and enforce the counsel of the Lord on earth. MARANATHA.

The devil, his demons and the weapons he uses to attack us, cannot be fought physically. When we pray, God gives His personal power to his angels and the holy spirit and Jesus Christ, in addition to Christs blood and God's anointing that destroy yokes. He has permitted his power to come to us, to fight for us. To demolish strongholds, demolish things and people sent to pretend that they are for us, yet sent by the devil to destroy us. The power also destroys and restores the truth of God, subjecting anything that attempts to exalt itself above the knowledge and Word of God. That is why we have to always believe in God that he has our best interest and will fight for us. He says no weapon formed against us will prosper. He says even if people and forces, witchcraft and demonic powers gather against us, they that gather, gather in vain. What an honor, What a God. Thank you Lord.

God does not punish the guilty, with the innocent. Jesus said we are to pray for those who unjustly use us, and bless those who curse us. Job is an example of this when he prayed for his friends who were accusing him of many things before
God. When Job did this, God turned the situation of Job around, and blessed him with twice as much as he had lost. So we must obey God, and by fulfilling our obedience. Pray for others, and forgive them of any wrong they have committed against you, then God will take care of those who are persecuting you.

some time ourthought seems to topeed us by satan, when he points out that we arenot righteous because we had/hs bd thuoghts about a certain person an that leaves us not being obedience before him so we are not righteous in christ we had fail inour standing before god.

One of my favorite quotes by the apostle Paul, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strongholds." We can't see our weapons, but they are far more effective than any man-made weapon. It feels good to be a saint of the most high GOD!
