2:13 Looking - With eager desire. For that glorious appearing - Which we hope for. Of the great God, even our Saviour Jesus Christ - So that, if there be (according to the Arian scheme) a great God and a little God, Christ is not the little God, but the great one.

    I believe it is God speaking through the Apostle Paul to encourage all Christian to look to him, and to understand that even in this dark era of unbelief in this present world we can and must live holy, we must let the light of God s love shine through our life s in the power of the Holy Spirit to show forth the Love and compassion of the Father so more souls might be added to the kingdom.
