Wesley's Notes for Revelation 12:6

12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness - This wilderness is undoubtedly on earth, where the woman also herself is now supposed to be. It betokens that part of the earth where, after having brought forth, she found a new abode. And this must be in Europe; as Asia and Afric were wholly in the hands of the Turks and Saracens; and in a part of it where the woman had not been before. In this wilderness, God had already prepared a place; that is, made it safe and convenient for her. The wilderness is, those countries of Europe which lie on this side the Danube; for the countries which lie beyond it had received Christianity before. That they may feed her - That the people of that place may provide all things needful for her. Twelve hundred and sixty days - So many prophetic days, which are not, as some have supposed, twelve hundred and sixty, but seven hundred and seventy - seven, common years. This Bengelius has shown at large in his German Introduction. These we may compute from the year 847 to 1524. So long the woman enjoyed a safe and convenient place in Europe, which was chiefly Bohemia; where she was fed, till God provided for her more plentifully at the Reformation.

Re 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness. The flight into the wilderness is alluded to again in Re 12:14. There it belongs in order. Under that verse the meaning will be more fully considered.

Rev12: 4 the powerful people who connive with the Antichrist they conspired to bring the wrong doctrine. Until the time of Martin Luther Christian where able to be out . 8 the dragon was defeated by michael and the Bible was available to everyone but the true doctrine is out. But in 1964 the church is once again back in the wilderness when the Catholic Church and so called Christian join again.

Faith: I placed my faith in, job, car, chair, kinfolks, 401k, IRA, credit card, friends, twenty dollar bill, social services programs, and non of these can keep me out of hell. So, I placed my FAITH in GOD according to HIS word in John 3:16-21, because HE promised to SAVE me. Now saved, daily by and through the POWER of GOD I serve by being obedient to the words of GOD.

Get ready to meet your Maker..He will come with a Loud Roar. His creations we lived with in our life will crumble before our eyes. There will be no where to hide. Everything we ever did will be shown in the end. Our Life on earth will show the evilness we did against our Father. NO WHERE TO HIDE!!! Never too late to turn to Him. Seek Him Now..For tomorrow may never come. He is knocking!!!

Mankind had the resurrected body of Jesus in Genesis. Abraham's heart amazed all the angels, but Gods heart is greater and he substituted the fully grown lamb, a Ram. The woman is above all and above the church, because she is the reason for the church within us and Israel. The comforter carried the seed of God unto the earth, not Mary. The Holy Spirit is above all things with the father and son.
