2In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Sion. 3There brake he the arrowes of the bowe, the shield, and the sword, and the battell. Selah. 4Thou art more glorious and excellent then the mountaines of pray. 5The stout hearted are spoiled, they haue slept their sleepe: and none of the men of might haue found their hands. 6At thy rebuke, O God of Iacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleepe.

76:4 Thou - O God. Than - The greatest kings and empires of the earth, which in prophetic writings are often compared to mountains. And they are called mountains of prey, because they generally were established by tyranny, and maintained by preying upon their own subjects, or other kingdoms.
