5But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there bee an vproare among the people. 6¶ Now when Iesus was in Bethanie, in the house of Simon the leper, 7There came vnto him a woman, hauing an alabaster boxe of very precious ointment, and powred it on his head, as he sate at meat. 8But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? 9For this ointment might haue bin sold for much, and giuen to the poore.
