1-47 we learn specifically the group that 'tried' and 'sentence' JESUS to death; this same group would have carried out the execution but the laws of the Roman's government would not allow them to put JESUS to death, never-the-less the Roman's government could put JESUS to death.; so the religious leaders sentence JESUS to death and the Roman government carried out the execution; the ransom paid.

Eddie; that was a very good question! Actually it wasn't that God was looking for someone to die for our sins; for He Himself had announced from the beginning that Christ would come in the flesh born of a woman to undo the works of the devil and save us from our sins, by His own bruising Genesis 3:15. Who the LORD looks for is a man after His own heart whom He might teach and reveal His Word.

Isaiah 63:5 "And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me."

Where does it say in the bible about God searched and couldn't find anyone worthy to die for ours sins so he sent his only son. I've heard this all my life.

Christ was crucified on the cross for the remission of our sin debt paid in full not too say that we can keep on dining but stop dining a hard load since we live in a sinful world I meant to say dining in stead of dinning sorry
