9:23 Let him deny himself, and take up his cross - The necessity of this duty has been shown in many places: the extent of it is specified here, daily - Therefore that day is lost wherein no cross is taken up.

"55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them"... again, we learn Jesus stayed focused on His 1 mission SALVATION.

don't get too accustomed to this world. Jesus was just passing through and so are we! We get entangled with the "cares" of this life. we like to be comfortable, and there's nothing wrong with that, except you have to keep your eyes on the one that matters-Jesus and eternal life with Him.

To be a disciple of his, hands on the plough, is to be in a battle against the forces of evil on earth. We are in a time of testing. The Truth is being obfuscated. The rule if law is ignored as the Antichrist, who blows his own horn that he is the best, has deceived even the very foremost Christians of our day, 5/9/19. They boost his credibility not knowing the severity of God, who sees all!

Our Lord on the Mount-of-Transfiguration: God His Father said: This is My Beloved Son: Hear Ye Him! Mary at the Wedding in Cana: Whatever He sayeth: do it! Why are we claiming to be Followers of Jesus: but disobedient to His Commands: Jesus sayeth: To obey is Better than Sacrifice: I am preaching to the choir: We are upset with our children when they disobey our commands: obedience to God matters

through the eyes of Jesus we learn Jesus has not loss sight of HIS # 1 mission (redeem man from sin... 23-27); but through the eyes of the 12 disciples

Verse 25~Even if a person becomes very successful and wealthy in this world, what good would it be if that person loses their life?
