14¶ And this is the law of the meat offering: the sonnes of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the Altar. 15And he shall take of it his handfull, of the flowre of the meat offering, and of the oyle therof, and all the frankincense which is vpon the meat offring, and shall burne it vpon the Altar, for a sweet sauour, euen the memoriall of it vnto the Lord. 16And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sonnes eat: with vnleauened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place: in the court of the Tabernacle of the Congregation they shall eat it. 17It shall not be baken with leauen: I haue giuen it vnto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire: it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespasse offering. 18All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it: It shalbe a statute for euer in your generations concerning the offerings of the Lord made by fire: euery one that toucheth them shalbe holy.

6:16 His sons - The males only might eat these, because they were most holy things; whereas the daughters of Aaron might eat other holy things. In the court - In some special room appointed for that purpose. The reason why this was to be eaten only by holy persons, and that in an holy place, is given #Lev 6:17|, because it is most holy.
