33Why trimmest thou thy way to seeke loue? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy wayes. 34Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the soules of the poore innocents: I haue not found it by secret search, but vpon all these. 35Yet thou sayest; Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turne from me: behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I haue not sinned. 36Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt bee ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria. 37Yea thou shalt goe forth from him, and thine hands vpon thine head: for the Lord hath reiected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
