Wesley's Notes for Acts 17:26

17:26 He hath made of one blood the whole nation of men - By this expression the apostle showed them in the most unaffected manner, that though he was a Jew, be was not enslaved to any narrow views, but looked on all mankind as his brethren: having determined the times - That it is God who gave men the earth to inhabit, Paul proves from the order of times and places, showing the highest wisdom of the Disposer, superior to all human counsels. And the bounds of their habitation - By mountains, seas, rivers, and the like.

Acts chapter 17 it s talking about these Jews who have turned the world upside down saying that there is another king, one Jesus like today with false pictures of Jesus it troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things. And when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came to stirred up the people.

Acts 17 is an amazing Chapter. i love the roggedity of Paul as he was not deter by any opposition to what he believed in. he was very courageous and well convinced about his believe and was able to persuade people into his conviction regardless of what the opposition was. thumbs up.

Rise Again: TO COME BACK TO LIFE: When Jesus Rose from the Dead, He Comfirmed His
Identity as the SON Of the Living God, and His finished work of Salvation. He Rise Again: Death could not keep Him in the Grave. He had power to lay His Life down: and Power to take it up again.

Paul preached to these in his day out of the old testament for that was all they had, the new was being wrote. He preached and taught from passages like Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22 23 concerning the death and resurrection of Christ it was all prophecy when wrote but now Paul can preach it in the past. The prophets wrote that Christ would rise (again) future but now its past tense. Fulfilled prophecy..
