People's Bible Notes for 2 Timothy 4:14

2Ti 4:14 Alexander the coppersmith. An Alexander is named as belonging to Ephesus in Ac 19:33 1Ti 1:20. This may have been the same man. We cannot be sure whether the evil was done in Ephesus, or Rome. Did me much evil. By his opposition. The Lord reward him according to his works. The Christian, when wronged, is to turn over to the Lord the recompense for the wrong. See Mt 16:27.

Discussion for 2 Timothy 4

I am inspired by this scripture written by the apostle paul. it has a deep abiding spirit of confirmation of the serious work that is before us,for those who are called to bare witness to the truth, and the task of spreading the gospel of jesus christ...i just enjoy the spiritual food of his words in 2019 they are so real and relevant in today's world and it has enlightened me as well.

To live this life is to suffer your whole life as l did, not realizing that because you had a calling in your life when born. You were chosen to do special things for the Lord. But growing up did not know God fully, but instead the world ways. Evilness lerked near me causing many a fall and being alone. But God and l fought the trial off. Not knowing-- l climbed out of the pits stronger then ever. Now in the ending of my life l go out fighting for others. With the Light surrounding me, no one will touch me unless the Lord lets them. My strength comes from the Lord each day. Even though the evilness of this world trys and destroy me. I wake up another day living moment to moment walking in His Son Jesus shoes. No turning back now. I chose this fight to the end. Choose this day who you will serve. Fight to the end!!!!

I read this with confirmation to what Timothy was writing here. We see and are experiencing the identical attitude in this present time 2019. Know we are God witnesses and will experience the same thing our brethren did in Jesus Christ time. May we continue to fight the good fight of faith , love the brethren and close any demonic doors to satan. He s rejected knowing his weakness. Moving forw

Verse 5 We want to share the good news and make sure that we fully accomplish our ministry. The best way to do this is by imitating Jesus Christ and the way that he carried out his ministry.

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
