People in high calling need to be more like jesus and less like the world
  • Righteous Judgment and the Legal Process - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
'PEOPLE', is very large blanket kind of statement. Instead of naming a person, you accuse the entire group. These are just a few of the 5700 scriptures that deal with judgment. Mishael

    John 7:24

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

    2 Peter 2:8

(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds

    2 Thessalonians 1:6

    Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

    Revelation 22:11

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

    John 12:47

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

    Matthew 7:1

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

    1 Corinthians 11:31

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

    Luke 6:37

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

In your prayers, forgive. Then petition the Lord Jesus to be judge between those who offend your conscience and understanding of scripture. Jesus...is our go-to person in such matters.

    Book of Job 1:

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God (evil angels) came to present themselves before the LORD (on His Throne), and Satan came also among them.

7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Comment=they show up when they have someone to accuse. Satan=Accuser

Always take your "legal issue" before the Lords Throne first. He has the best ATTORNEY, JESUS CHRIST.

    1 John 2:1 The Advocate.

Miracles from God do happen know matter how old you are. Many Blessings came to me. Many mistakes l did not see.

No vacations l lost how to relax. l kept working and helping others seek out their dreams. Thought time would stand still, There was no aging me. Saw the Lights of Heaven more then once. No one told me to seek life instead of work to build others so much. Want to be around God's creations as before.

He always gave me what l wanted you see. Spiritual miracles, but l never stopped to understand. No one was around to help me understand, so l wrote all down. Natives. Medicine men. Miracles given to me. But l only look at what l have now l did not give to others, what God meant them to be for me. Miss my wolf and traveling. Miss my horse never time for them. Understand me now, for I only help others now see. Their gifts of love that comes to them from up above. But like me from the past they don't understand. In this world of evilness-- God's Love for them never is felt. For His Special Love shines inside of you to see-- His world not ours. For the evilness changes what is meant to be. A easier life, not the struggles you see....
  • Richard in Christ on 1 Timothy 3
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:

    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Because the Elect One standeth before the Lord of Spirits, And His glory is for ever and ever, And His might unto all generations.

And the Elect One shall in those days sit on My throne, And His mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel: For the Lord of Spirits hath given (them) to Him and hath glorified Him.

He shall be a staff to the righteous whereon to stay themselves and not fall, And He shall be the light of the Gentiles, And the hope of those who are troubled of heart.

Open your eyes and lift up your hands if ye are able to recognize the Elect One. And the Lord of Spirits seated Him on the throne of His glory, And the spirit of righteousness was poured out upon Him, And the word of his mouth slays all the sinners, And all the unrighteous are destroyed from before his face.

Time never stands still. People are living and dying. This world has made life uncertain. So what do you do? You ask your Father in Heaven for help, as He gave us when His Son Jesus died and suffered for all our sins. You go to His words. You pray. After, you keep the Faith to believe it will be done. You go day to day believing and waiting for His soon return. That is what you do.
  • S Spencer - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
    Hi Patty.

    You're right when said-

""You go to His words. You pray. After, you keep the Faith to believe it will be done. You go day to day believing and waiting for His soon return. That is what you do""

But we are inspired by the Holyspirit to go out and distribute what you have faith and believe in. ( We work!)

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

This is what James is saying in his epistle.

James 2:17-18. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

    God bless.

James also said there is one God even the devils know and tremble , not much fear of God these days .
  • St Spencer - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
    Hi Stewart

I'm so sorry!! That msg wasn't for you! I read your response from my email and realized It's me on the wrong thread!!

    That wasn't intended for you.

    again I'm sorry.

    God bless you.
  • Stewart - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
    It's interesting response any how , I disagree 1+1+1 = 3

No matter how it's spun that's the sum .

You gotta have the right God to start with all the rest is sin .
  • S Spencer - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
    Hi Stewart.

I'm only interested in ones salvation,

And if One agrees with you and don't accept Christ then he's still lost.

But if he accepts Christ the Holyspirit will reveal to him all he needs to Know.

I'm sure you don't mind somebody wanting to preach the gospel/ Teachings on salvation without debating the trinity right.

I'm sure no Christian would want to get in the way of that. It's what Jesus commanded.

I have no further comments on that topic, Thank you and God bless you.
  • S Spencer - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3

    Trintarians believe in one God!

You mis the point, is your view all you care about? What about Preaching and teaching the gospel?

Muslims believe in one God but regects the gospel, are they saved?

Are you saved? if so why not spend your time sharing how you got there.

Let's grow up and take the first step of leading a productive and spiritual life and do what Christ commanded us to do and let the Holyspirit do the rest.

HOW ABOUT GETTING TOGETHER AND SAVE SOME LIVES BY GETTING SALVATION RIGHT and everything else will fall in place in due time.

A mark of a true Christian is to Love the brethren, not to seek and divide.

    God bless.

Did you know The Beatles said they were bigger than Jesus. Is that where you got the 1+1+1 = 3 Hold him in your ams and you can feel his disease (antichrist).
  • Ronnie on 1 Timothy 3:11
There is a lot of I KNOW AND YOUR WRONG attitudes out here when it comes to The Word of "God", (yes spelled with a capital G by the way), but is it really getting us anywhere? 2 Timothy 2:23

(But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.)

    Titus 3:9

(But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.) When it comes to God's Word no one knows it better than God, go to him, pray for understanding and whatsoever in faith believing ye ask, ye shall receive! The preacher said it best in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.) God Bless and fight the good fight.
  • Patty Tozi on 1 Timothy 3
When you have a problem taking care of people in their last days, you can forget God is near. You react against yourself when you see their pain is bad and the system rules they cannot have pain medicine. So what l did this morning was fight for him thru our Lord Jesus Christ. For His sufferings for our sins, cannot be worse then the problems that mankind has with the enemy of this world. So l decide to fight for all mankind going through things..not just this person l take care of. For in the Bible l ask for help from the Mighty Light of God's word.

You may be in difficult times. Don't get discouraged. Just remember how God has already parted the Red Sea many a time in your life and delivered you. On your knees and read God's words what He wants for you. The best is yet to come....

  • Earl Poitier on 1 Timothy 3:2
Sadly, so many are so unlearn that we have a tense to Judge so quickly tell we can't understand. The law was set for the children, Isreal. If we read the word of God carefully, Abraham had two wives, Jacob had two wives, King Davis had two wives, and so owned this was a comma practice in the early days. In New Testament, the Gentiles that were all baptized in Jesus' name was all Die in the watery grave was all risen in newness. 1 Corinthian 7: 10-16 explain. Now for the two wives, which was a practice in the early church, this is one reason why the Office of a Bishop must have one wife. Remember in your study what happens between Sarah and Haggi Jacob Rachel and Leah. I want to go into greater detail, but some of my teaching you will find in The Word of Truth Ministry.
  • Carleton on 1 Timothy 3
    Matthew 16:17-20

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Can you give the interpretation of Matthew 24:17,18 concerning the end times?
  • Jesse - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3

Matthew 27:17 says "Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:"

This was written for the Jews. What the Jews would do is they would use their housetops like a patio. It is where they would sit at night because of the heat. Jesus says let the one who is on the housetops (Jews) not come down to take anything out of his house.

That is how urgent things are going to be for them (The Jews). In Verse 16, they are told to flee. They are to flee immediately. There will be no time to go into the house to gather their belongings. I'm not sure if they still do, but the Jews had an outside stairway that goes up to the roof. So they are told to just go down the stairs and head on out to the mountains.

It is the same thing in Verse 18 with the ones who are out in the field. They are also to flee to the mountains. They are not to return home first to gather any of their belongings or check on loved ones. It will be very urgent for them and there will be no time to waste.

Who prayed this prayer:"Oh Lord make me a mystery and a wonder
  • Chris - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3
Dan, I don't recall a Scripture with those words, but did find this prayer on the Web, by someone who calls himself, Evangelist Chris Okoh:

"Oh Lord make me a mysterious wonder when men say it is finished. With this prayer, things will begin to change for good in Jesus name. The lord will lift you up above peoples understanding. O God make me a divine wonder O God arise in Jesus name."

I don't subscribe to the above nor have I heard of this man, but offer it in case this is what you've seen.
  • Bro Barney - in Reply on 1 Timothy 3

Could this be what you are looking for?

Psa 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psa 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Jacqueline, you can type the word (using both the singular & plural) in the Search the Bible Box on the Site's main page to see how often the word is used in the KJV.
  • Patty Tozi on 1 Timothy 3
May 1. Let everyone that knows the Glory of God, get into the word day to day for His Strength, Protection, and Love. For in these days we will surly need it. As our world goes faster and faster we will be rushing and worrying much. But to sit down and see the best in your life now, is a must to survive what this world of evilness will become. Get into Revelation reading. See each warning He showed us. Remember His promises. Never forget them. For no matter how bad it will get, your Heavenly Father will shine His Light upon you. His Son will come down fast with His Angels when we least expect it. He will fight for His children no matter how we had suffered. No matter how we are in that day, we will forget all the pain and suffering we went through as we see it all unfold as in the Word of the Bible comes clear to us at that moment. So now what do you do till that day comes upon us? You keep the Faith. You do good unto others, but most important you show and tell others that feel hopeless, about our awesome God that Loved us so much, He gave His only begotten Son to suffer and shed His blood for us, to be able in those days to come straight to His Father. Now this l just wrote is an awaking from my Father to write today. For our days are numbered. Do you understand now there is no more putting off. Just go after the Word. Learn, and be ready to be a warrior for our God....
