How can I be certain that a change I want to make is the right one? I'm so unhappy most days at my job I've already applied for another but all my life I've made wrong decisions so now I'm second guessing myself as I wait on my next boss to call me.

For "perjured person" is the Greek word "epiorkois" Strongs G1965 with definition "1. a false swearer, a perjurer, on oath that is (falsely) a forswearer".
Where other Bibles get "practicing homosexuality" is stated in two places. 1 Corinthians 6:9 and 1 Timothy 1:10. In the KJV it is "them that defile or abuse themselves with mankind". The Greek word "arsenokoitais or arsenokoitai" Strongs G733 definition "1. one who lies with a male as with a female, sodomite, homosexual".
Also sexually immoral is "whoremongers" or "fornicator" in KJV in the same two verses as above. The Greek word "pornois" Strongs G4205 "1. a man who prostitutes his body to another's lust for hire, 2. a male prostitute, 3. a man who indulges in unlawful sexual intercourse, a fornicator".
What is menstealer and perjured person? Seventh-Day Adventists use their own Bible and it interpret it very different from KJV. Where did they get the ...for mother's, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders,...
My research is homosexuality, where did other Bible get practicing homosexuality. It didn't say that here on KJV. I am looking for evidence that it violates the Ten Commandments. Thanks

In our present world and computer age in my humble opininon ( neither give heed to endless fables ....) its exactly what have stolen the attension of the believer from investing quality time in tge atudy of GOD's word for the HOLY SPIRIT to give enlightenmemt, rather many a one is consumed with social media , soapoperas, and endless discussion of life issues on social media and television .
Richard, I believe that I wrote to you a few moments ago in a similar vein, but to respond to your question here.
It is true that Paul (then Saul, the Jew, the Pharisee), did commit those heinous crimes of blasphemy, persecution of Christians, & murder. Yet when he turned to the Lord, He found God's Mercy upon him. And we know this was a fact because of his encounter with the Living Christ on Damascus Road & the commission given to him to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles & others.
Then to apply Hebrews 10:26 in the same way would be wrong as we would have to ask, "is it possible for a believer to commit such sins as Saul, the unbeliever, did?" If you feel, "Yes", then I would say that there is no room for repentance & forgiveness. Rather, I believe (& I feel you would agree also) that a Christian cannot sin in that way. And I would add that a true believer cannot live a life of any type of sin: if the Spirit is present, there would be very clear checks about the matter & pleadings towards repentance & restoration. If the Spirit is not in residence, there would be no conviction, indeed, without the Spirit of God, we are not even Christians.
But as I mentioned in my other comment to you on the Hebrew passages: they referenced particularly to the sins of apostasy, when the Jews who had turned to Christ, or those fake 'believers' who shared in the blessings, then turned against Christ & His Gospel to return back to Judaism & the Law, which only led to death. To these, there would be no more place for repentance.
So none of these apply to you: you are saved, you have not committed the sins of Saul, & you have not apostatized. And I don't believe you are in a lifestyle of sin, according the pain in your heart about this matter. You need the assurance from the Word & the Spirit that you are a child of the King & nothing will annul that holy relationship. Keep storing God's Word in your heart & look for that confirmation in your spirit.
This question comes with different answers, depending on the era one lived in. We know from the Bible, that some men of OT days had multiple wives (e.g. Esau, Abraham, Jacob, Elkanah, Moses, David, Solomon). Then there was the Levirate marriage, when it was encumbent on the man to marry his brother's widow ( Deut 25:5-10). As well, often kings took on several wives to secure a stronger relationship with the other ally or nation.
But in NT times, this was frowned upon though still practised to some extent. However, with the Gospel & apostolic teaching, only a monogamous relationship was taught ( 1 Cor 7; 1 Tim 3:2,12; Tit 1:6) as the union of man & woman in marriage & it consummation meant they became "one flesh" & could only separate or be dissolved because of the death of one or because of fornication.
Mormons have always promoted monogamy: their book of Jacob even condemns David & Solomon for their polygamy. But there were exceptions to this, so they rely on their scripture in Jacob 2:30, which indicates that if God desires, then He will command His people to raise up seed for Him. So, this is seen by the Mormons as a licence to have multiple wives (though I'm unsure how they discern that it is God that requires some to raise more 'seed' for Him, & whether multiplicity of wives is the way to do it, or should one wife bear more children). So the Mormons also have to use the Book of Mormon to justify their actions in this regard & many other things (e.g. the relationship of Jesus to Satan).
He points out two people that are in the church at Ephesus who were giving Timothy a bad time.
Later in 2 Timothy, we'll find out that they didn't believe in the resurrection of Christ. And they brought other heretical teachings into the church.
And Paul will say later the names of people that were sinning in the church, that it might be an example to them.
Yes, you have to love. But you have to be concerned about the rest of the body of Christ and warn them that it's not according to scripture.

He also did that back in 1 Corinthians Chapter 5 Verse 5 for the man who wouldn't repent in the church in Corinth. He says deliver him over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that his soul might be saved in the day of the Lord.

We see in 1 Tim 1:20, Paul chiding Hymenaeus & Alexander for having (in some manner of blaspheming) made shipwreck of their faith. We're not told exactly what they did, but was certainly grievously wrong, causing Paul to put them out of the Church (deliver them to the world of Satan). Paul, as an apostle, could well take such action as He preached the Truths of God's Word & from Christ. Sadly, our Churches still entertain those that have swerved greatly from the Truth & so keep their congregation in the dark, believing lies.
Verse 29-20: these men did not merely wander from the faith. They made a purposeful choice to reject a clear conscience, and the result was a destruction of their spiritual lives. Their faith was shipwrecked. They were teaching that the resurrection of the dead had already happened, which was untrue.

We live under the new covenant!Those who believe and have received already the holy spirit are His church who waits for his coming. No one knows that day, not the son,only the Father. If you are not led by the light of Gods word, than you still live in darkness. We are not justified by the works but by the faith in the of the Son of God. The blood We receive is the communion of his body and blood. Their is no salvation in any other. This would be a good time to read the scripture.
Be careful. We are living in times when our "faith in our leaders/candidates " is being violated. A leader will arise on the scene who will fix a lot of problems and bring peace to our present chaos. war. Look how God weeded out Gideons group. Fighting SPIRITUAL war is the same and different. Get some blood in your eye, get in an intercession prayer group of 2 or 3.
It is beyond comprehension, to think that this spiritual war continues and will continue as long as our God allows it. It is His desire that all would be saved. I think back on the V.Nam war and the generation of men and woman who died for the love of a people suppressed by an evil govt. No matter what you hear. Even in this time we are being attacked, without the wisdom and love of our brothers who have already died, Satan,the enemy , can easily be overcome Only if man would confess sins , and rely on the captain of our salvation, our lord and savior ,Christ Jesus. Jesus says in the last days he will pour out his spirit. Without knowing or reading other words, its hard to know if what others are reading are the same words in kjv. know ng that the power of the spirit must have free course ,and relies on Jesus word to do it. The kjv ,is this translation . The power of the holy spirit, will move people like no other power. It is powerful, like the sword . Discipline, patience, love for God. We are at war with a divine being, Christ is our captain! It is evident that other words cause confusion. Paul speaks plainly when he says any other doctrine be accursed. That was the first thing Christ dealt with ,when e delivered evil spirits in the synagogue.
