I do believe that women can pastor do a study on HULDAH, DEBRA, AND PHIILIPS (4) DAUGHTERS ALL OF WHOM WHERE
  • Ann moore
that is between her and God
  • Nolan
No, women are not to be pastors in the New Testament. Every time you find mention of a bishop (1 Timothy 3:1-9; Titus 1:7) it is referring to a male. Even when you read the postscript on some of the epistles it will list the bishop's name and it is always a male. God has set forth an order in the home and the church (1 Cor. 11:3). The only commandment for women to teach is found in Titus 2:3.
  • Neenee
Women can be pastors God used women all throughout the Bible. Example. Debra..do a study on her...
  • Mamie Fluker
No a woman can not be a pastor because a pastor is over a church.1 Timothy 2;12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man,but to be in silence. In our church we can preach with the permission of man,but we have no women pastors in our church. The man is head of woman and God is the head of man.God bless you.
  • Kolapo

My prayer and my hopes is to give the Lord our Highest praise houlilouya is the Highest Praise,
  • Jim Mc Govern for verse 1
importance of trinity not to be overlooked- in this case God our Saviour means the Father who sent his Son Christ Jesus John 3:16 somewhere in scriptures, the gospels, Christ says, "I don't do things on my iniative, I do things I hear in heaven, not of myself, the Father's will not my will: I obey the Father who has given me complete authority to do so" for instance, in the Gethsamane garden Christ agonizes in prayer to the Father "that this tribulation cup pass from me", then submits to his Father's purpose "not my will but thy will be done", "even unto death" epistles of Hebrews and Romans the Father is the grand orderor of all things which Christ has full power to obediently implement Genesis 1:26 the Holy Ghost, too, a principal actor Genesis 1:2, Hebrews 9:14, Proverbs 9:2
  • Jim Mc Govern for verse 5
love god and neighbor first greatest commandment Christ says somewhere in the gospel and elsewhere in the old testament: faith assured not disengenuous not supercilious heaven our hope see also Proverb 13:12
  • Doctrine is important however. I believe we are to contend for the faith even if it seems unloving. Examples include: Infant baptism and works salvation of any kind. Know the one who saved us, how he saved us, and love. Love confronts error even if it causes division. This is not trivial! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
  • Joseph
    Continue to preach the gospel
  • John madden for verse 19
Some do fall away .but those who dont believe this can happen are in denial about this teaching
  • Me
My Brothers and Sisters in the lord. Dont focus on what others may seem to have materially or physically, but instead rejoice for you have Christ in your life which is worth more than material and physical appearance. GALATIANS 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due ... Other Translations of Galatians 6:9 ... Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not ... us not get tired of well-doing for at the right time we will get in the grain, if we do not .... They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy. Mathew 6:1-21 34 Read and Gavin stay blessed and remember God does not care about our worldly possessions, instead he cares about are we following his word.
  • Joe
Gavin - Unfortunately the world is filled with evil brought on by mankind. We believers have always been surrounded by these since the earliest of times - just think about the life of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. All of us believers would love to live in a world that was free of evil that is our hope for eternity. However, until the Lord decides our time is come to be with Him, we must continue in this world doing the very best we can to bring glory and praise to Him.
  • Gavin
I work in an enviroment were there are murderers, rapists, thieves and adulterers.Im trying to understand why I have to see them been exalted like heroes.when the bible says different.what do I do?im lost not in christ but in what is moral and real today.why must I suffer locking myself up because of fear.im gods.but I cant see myself living in this here world anymore.
  • .Manuel for verse 12
Very good verse. I love it.
  • Oleg
I 'm not Timothy, but 100 I can learn from what was written. This latter still remains to this day 's.
  • Eboni Brown
I absolutely love this verse. What I really have taken from this verse, is to love more..Not judge and to always be there for all of our sisters and brothers. Love God
  • Joni G
Brianna, yes that is an interesting scripture. It is important to recognize that the Bible we have today is complete. Especially the King James version. It gives you all you need to know about God 's love for you for all of us. Men filled with the Holy Spirit wrote what God wanted them to say. We cannot assign just any interpretation we want. Look at 2nd Peter 1:20-21. When the Bible was translated into English from Latin Hebrew and Greek, it was carefully and prayerfully translated by experts using original manuscripts. Paul was telling Timothy to be careful not to allow fables or other heresays to be considered authentic as the Word of God. Always good to question the source and reject it if is not valid as the Bible translators did when they rejected spurious books for inclusion in the Bible.
  • Brianna for verse 4
This is an interesting scripture. I have been seeing more and more instances of Bible fables such as Adam having two wives, one named Lilith. Or , there are missing books of the bible. However, hear fables truly add no value to the bible at present. They really do just warrant further ,earning less research and add nothing to a person 's faith.
  • do not waste time on the things which are not important, but put more time on the things which are more nourishing to the spirit of the body and the soul which are true love, pure heart ,clear conscience, and sincere faith.
  • he did not come for the righteous but to bring sinners to repentance
  • Joni G
Amen Chauntana! What a disgrace! The Africaaners that were brought here against their will was sooooo wrong! I was so horrified growing up that I could not even take American history in high school. In college I avoided it again and took European history.I couldn 't bear to hear about slavery in the south. I remember when I was 3 calling a sweet lady Aunt Ida, who was black. She cleaned for my grandmother 's friend. The town I grew up in sold no alcohol nor had black Americans. Odd. I am thankful to God that He is no respecter of persons and accepts all who trust and obey Him.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson
Hello Nothing but the Truth: I do not know if they will post this or not, because this is meat. If the people who created slavery were truly God fearing people and understood the scriptures they would never have abused their authority like they did over Black America. In our present day society the words of slavery, prejudice, and hatred for a nation of people that were brought here against their will still rings out. There are churches that preach this hatred. There are people who will die believing that a nation of people should not have any rights, equality, or justice. If they were truly filled with the Holy Ghost and truly know the beauty of God where is the room for such hatred? The fruit of the spirit, Ephesians 5: 9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth and Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
  • Nothing but the Truth for verse 10
According to Strong 's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, menstealers 405 refers to not only the actual act of trapping the individual but also the enslavement, for free labor and future breeding of other slaves, which would thereby increase the number of slaves without incurring any further out of pocket expense...Very devilish indeed!!
  • Gladness for verse 14
Greetings, please help i need to grow my faith exceedingly
  • Kenny
I can t rememeber the book and verse right now but it reads Jesus said I and my Father are one if you have seen me you have seen the Father also Jesus was God in the flesh Amen
