People are mixed up: Saints meet Jesus in the Air: His second Coming: Two different events. After saints meet Our Lord in the Air, go straight to Heaven to receive our Crowns, etc.Will be in Heaven for Seven Years, that time the anti-Christ will be revealed. Tribulation of Revelation will start. After seven years the Saints and Our Lord will return(second coming).To fight Satan and his armies.
In the third chapter, a question is asked where were they when they wrote the letter. They gave an incorrect answer of Corinth. The correct answer should be Athens. It also states Athens at the end of chapter 5.
This was a letter Paul wrote to the church, speaking how pleased God was that they turned from idols and excepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour,as we all should be thankful and grateful for the love of the living God, there is knowone greater then he, praise him in prayer, speak of him often, if you don't have the wisdom you feel of his word ask him, live in faith, trust in him,except the Lord

It is imperative that we be here up to the end for God to judge the world. We are ordained and anointed for being witnesses of the grace of Jesus Christ, and His completed work of our Redemption; by the power of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us, and uses us to convict.
Bruce. Yes you are correct about believers experiencing tribulation, but that is not the 7 year tribulation spoken of in Daniel and Revelation. The 7 year tribulation is the wrath of God upon man kind. Last wake up call. Not meant for the bride of Christ.
Hi Travis; Yes, since Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden, man has been appointed to toil and sorrow and tribulation in the world. For all that goes with our experience in this evil world, under the terror and deceptions of the prince of this world; THAT is what is meant by "not some special event." Genesis 11:6 tells about how the transgressors will at one point be no longer restrained.
Adiscpile i am one of those who belive in the 7 year tribulation but i account that to the end times last chance to make with God for those left,but Ibelieve we all live in tribulation so if you get this could you elobarate on your message about the tribulation not being some special event and how you got this train of thought

Gerald. Yes there are more scriptures about Christians going thru the tribulation because most will not be ready to go on the first harvest. No oil in their lamps. He is coming for those who are faithful now and living in holiness, not perfect but mature. The parable of the ten virgins offers a lot of light on this subject. Lord warned that the lukewarm would be spewed out of His mouth.
Vs10 "even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come." I see two possible fulfilments of this prophetic utterance. The destruction of Jerusalem in circa 67-70 a.d. And the final deliverance for those His own, at His return. Regardless, we can thank God for such a deliverance. For to me, being prone to doing stupid things...He is first among all other things, my God of Deliverance.
Doug; You are absolutely right! And anyone who wishes to follow Jesus in this world ALREADY KNOWS that we are set to encounter tribulation and opposition and persecution! The more we become transformed and sanctified, the more we amend our ways and our doings to be REALLY men and women after God's own heart,: the world and the wicked are NOT going to congratulate us and leave us alone!

Gerald; All the record in the Bible, and all our real experience as a Believer among other men, and the LORD's very many words admonishing us about how we are to expect tribulation in this present evil world; show us that it is NOT some special event of 7 years that is popularly held to; but rather a coming to the full of the transgressors, as they harden themselves and cast away all restraint.
Hi Gerald; I was reading your recent posts, and I'd like to say I agree with most everything you write. The popular modern-day belief in a 7 years tribulation makes one suppose it to be some strange and mysterious sinister event breaking in on an otherwise okay world; and really comes out of great ignorance of ancient world history as it is recorded in the Bible and blindness about the world now!
If we are raptured at the begining of the 7 yrs, as most think, then why after being cast out of heaven at the middle of the 7 yrs, and he knows that he has a short time,3 1/2 yrs, chapter 12:12 of book of Revelation, why is he going after the Christians that are living at that time? There are so MANY scriptures that prove we are going thru the 7 yr trib. To be continued later.
I believe we will go through the tribulation as it says in Matthew 24:1-44 especially vrs 29-31. At the middle of the 7 yrs the anti-christ will stand in the temple saying he is God. Book of revelation says there will be a war in heaven,12:7-17 and the satan and his angels were cast out of heaven and has come down to the earth. Satan will not have access to heaven after being cast to the earth.

Irene:Wrath is not Tribulation.Tribulation is not Wrath.Wrath is for nonbelievers,the lost,the dead. Tribulation comes to The Believers Washed by The Blood of The Lamb. Persecution and Tribulation started before His Birth and Keeps getting Worse until The Great Tribulation, Worse than The Holocaust. We must through much Tribulation enter The Kingdom of God.
How could anyone read JUST v. 10 - and think Christians are going thru the tribulation. Yes, Christians will HAVE tribulation in this life - just as our example Jesus did. But that's mild compared with the WRATH to come on the unbelievers for - SEVEN YEARS. Those who claim otherwise seem to WANT to go through it. I wouldn't even mention the trib. if I th'ot I was going through it!!
